According to http://history.house.gov/Institution/Party-Divisions/Party-Divisions/ the Dems only had the House twice since 1995, so... Nothing major changed due to Obama.

According to https://www.politico.com/story/2014/11/democrats-lose-2014-midterms-112581the loss of the Senate was complex.  The article also says Obama did everything Dems asked.

Partisanship concerns are not very idealistic.

Here is a run down of many of Obama's accomplishments from https://washingtonmonthly.com/magazine/januaryfebruary-2017/obamas-top-50-accomplishments-revisited/  He is the only two-term president who was not plagued by personal scandalous immorality.
-He gave millions of Americans health care.
-He doubled the vegetables in school meals.
-He got whole grains into school meals and simple carbs out.
-He ensured overtime pay for managers!
-He eliminated Osama bin Laden.
And much more.

Obama made a difference in African American lives just by being president.  For instance, all of the sudden, there was a need for way more African American models than usual.  Soon there will be a new African American on one of our coins.

Obama was faithful to his wife.

I get it now! You're an idiot savant. :D

I have no idea what this underwear topic is.

Mormonism, Jojo. Mormonism.

3
The second time it took the fear of Mormon secret underwear or he would never have been elected to a second term.

The first time it took a totally corrupt mainstream media that refused to vett him or refused to publish anything that would not have been flattering. He had absolutely no record to run on. If Clinton wasn’t such a flawed candidate he never would have been nominated.

So true...but if we'd known then what we know now...I'm actually not sure he would've been much better or any different, really. ;)

Reminds me of that scene in Private Ryan with Upham.

Ah, yes! The pacifist who watches the German kill a Jew. Could they be anymore obvious?!  ;D

This is not the conscouosness shit you are looking for.

6
This new age gobblty gook is starting to give me a headache. :-\

7
Well then I'd better rush to my doctor ASAP, because I know you'd never use an innocuous incident as grist for another unfounded conspiracy theory.

If you're coughing all the time it probably wouldn't hurt to do that.

8
Sounds like someone was tripping balls! Bring some for the class next time! ;D

9
I'm glad this guy is still getting work doing ads for Hoagie :)

10
Indistinguishable from a Clinton presidency.

I'm not convinced of the physics but the rest is accurate. ;)

12
OK, now they're starting to sound more full of shit.  :D

I am going to stick his ritual clock up his frikking arsehole. Somebody hold his ears so his head doesn’t get in the way.

What has he said that's not true tonight?

15
People resisting the model. ::)

You fools! >:(

I'm just listening to a live rebroadcast, the one some C2C affiliates play on Sat. nites from 6-10pm pacific.   (There's a list of these btw on the C2C site under Local Stations - I'm using KNWZ AM right now, don't even know where it is).  Hoagie was only on with the guy for about 5-10 mins. btw, the dude sounded kind of irritated lol.

But Hoagie is live right now. ;)

17
As I've gotten older, I cough a lot more than I used to. Am I a "very sick woman"?

Probably.

18
Never cross the streams, Hoagie! ::) ;D

I'd like to know more but I have to go pick up my wife.  I'll leave you with this. What sort of paranormal books did your mother read?

The usuals stuff: Shirley Maclaine, Ruth Montgomery, even that horrible fraud Sylvia Browne. There's probably a lot of other stuff I'm forgetting about right now too.

Yeah but not devout.  We said our prayers before meals and other times and we went to Baptist (CA), Presbyterian (PA) and Methodist (GA)churches when I was in grade school but we sort of stopped going when my brother was getting into trouble.  He was open-minded as pretty much all of us in the family were.  I have my beliefs in reincarnation and problems with the concept of Hell but other than that I'm fairly traditional yet open.

My mom was pretty much the same way. She was pretty closed about her inner life but she was into reading about the paranormal and a lot of the books I first read on the subject were hers, though I always got the impression that Christianity remained important to her too. Not that she ever preached or even really talked about it but when I'd rifle through her books there were lots of bibles, literature on St. Jude, etc.

This guy goes into how Broward County got money from a government program if their youth crime rate was low. The LE was not allowed to arrest teenagers or the money from the program would be threaten. That's why cops went to the Cruz kid's home so many times and nothing happened.

They're all fired! The entire police force! >:(

If George did this, he reminds me of the people who claimed Hillary was on her last gasps whenever she coughed.

She coughs ALL THE TIME because she's a very sick woman. Shirley was just sick that night.

My Dad was big on the Shirley MacLaine Out On A limb stuff.  He went to Machu Picchu on a lark for a weekend when we lived in New Jersey.  We  watched the Out On a Limb tv movie too.  Dad was also into the Celestine Prophecy and shit like that.  Not sure what prompted him to become interested in stuff like that.  Wish I had asked him.

Was he also Christian too?
