when I first came to bellgab and was listening to the gabcast, I couldn't stand redacted. She sounded like someone joining the mob to feel important. Guessing Art saw her as the cream of the crop from here, and either she used that as a vine or he conned her into thinking she was better than everyone, because shortly after this post she started her job with Art and she was involved with us less and less.

Once upon a time there was a forum; on this forum everyone agreed that George Noory sucks and Art Bell is the real deal.  One day, George Noory showed up, and was nearly eaten by bloodthirsty piranhas.  One day Art Bell showed up, and heart beats skipped all across the forum.  There was the great Dark Matter of 2013, and there was much rejoicing.  Art quit Dark Matter, and much butthurt was experienced.

A podcast about the forum about these radio shows was started, and there was partying.  George called the podcast twice... Art called once... and many asked, "Is this real?"

BellGabbers still don't dig Dave Noorie, but thrive in the excitement of Midnight In The Desert with Art Bell starting on July 20th, 2015.  There is much talk and delicious speculation of high strangeness to come.

BellGab.  All my friends are here.

Art quits, elevates her and helps guide her to whatever she is today. Now he's gone and she's left all alone. So far she's 0fer in handling all of this. My guess is she eventually finds a different hobby and the process starts over.

Her post has always bothered me, even know it was three years ago. I saw right through it. Art just being Art probably fucked with her head and who knows where it goes from here.

TL/DR Never meet your heroes.

kind of surprised at the reaction. some of you people are really fucking creepy.

RIP Art. You were a gimmick, but a good one.

Art's post was curious enough for me to come back to bg to check it out. She's definately playing out an Art esque angle here.

Hope everyone is well. Glad to see this place is still around. Seems like my name reverted back to the original name.

Art was banking on that Ed Dames gold, and now needs a revenue source to support his growing family.

ha I think we're on different wave lengths brother

Art dismissed any and all references to 11:11 on his show, and bellgab has done the same because Noory showed some interest in 11:11.

just pointing out a little synchronicity

we voted for America to be great again and for the loud mouths to shut the fuck up. Problem was, in losing the loud mouths got even louder and refused to shut the fuck up.

Something else they refused to do is get a job.

so if you're still going around and complaining about not getting your way, you're a cuck. a fucking cuck. nobody likes a cuck.

well at least in my field, tenure is a badge of honor. You've avoided budget cuts, political maneuvering by above tenured people, didn't kill any kids, didn't kill yourself.

I'm sure you're right regarding elitism in other fields

Aw my heart is touched. <3 Remember when you were banned for being a nazi?

It sucked. Luckily I was allowed back when it was found I was indeed not a nazi.

Now what can we do about this bed wetting liberal problem of yours?

So, let me get this straight. People are whining because Obama hasn't visited Louisiana yet? FEMA is doing their job and not making this absolute shitshow disaster like Katrina was. It's all about Obama making some appearance? Maybe, just maybe, Obama realizes how stupid appearing just for the sake of appearing is until the situation is more under control? Stay out of the way and let those you assigned, to handle these situations, do their job? Not be an unnecessary distraction that would divert resources and attention.

Obama doesn't personally get in planes and drop bombs on Daesh in Syria either. He isn't grabbing a hose and fighting the Hoagland fire out in California either. Such things would be inappropriate and not really his skill set.

This is the biggest, dumbest, whine I've seen yet. Bush was given so much shit because Michael Brown was an incompetent fool and Bush said "You're doing a heck of a job, Brownie" while the Superdome was falling apart. To even compare the two is absolutely grasping at straws. If THIS is an issue for you than it shows you really don't have much to whine about with Obama and shows just how good of a job he is actually doing.

I'm loosely quoting one of the greats here...

"What you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

Welcome and post often!

Don't mind Ciardelo, he's like genital warts. You get rid of him for several months and he just shows up unannounced and uninvited and stays longer than anyone is comfortable with.

Plus, the great Chuck Norris has publicly stated electing Hilary Clinton would destroy what is left of our republic

so I think the election is in the bag and we can go back to our lives now.

Politics / Trump/Hillary FB Followers Experiment
July 27, 2016, 05:24:03 PM
Saw a few people sharing this status asking you to go Trump's and Clinton's verified FB page and see how many of your friends likes each one.

Results were across the board heavily for Trump. Not even close in any poll. (I only have 250 friends, I had 16 trump, but 0 (ZERO) for Clinton)

Somebody threw a curveball and added Bernie Sanders to the experiment. (I have 24 Sanders)

Amazing results. Who actually supports Hilary Clinton, and who is simply supporting the party?

Democrats hand picked their winner before the race started, and will suffer the consequences.

Vote Trump. At least he'd tell you to fuck off to your face.

Politics / Re: Dallas
July 13, 2016, 12:07:04 PM
QuoteFirst [Cameron Sterling] told CBS News that not all police officers are “bad,” adding that while “there are some that are bad, but all aren’t bad.” He also said that “all police shouldn’t be punished for other police’s crimes.”

And the five Dallas officers who lost their lives didn’t deserve to be gunned down “because nobody knew if they had kids to go home to,” Cameron Sterling added to the network. “Those kids need their parents.”

“What I want, what I ask if you truly love my father, I truly just want everyone to protest the right way â€" protesting in peace. Not in violence,” the teenager added. “Not beating the police. Not police beating the people. That makes no sense. That make things worse. You have to make things better by making peace.”

As Cameron Sterling’s mother, Quinyetta McMillon, addressed the public following Alton Sterling’s death, Cameron Sterling broke down.

“When I put my arm around her, it’s like somebody else’s hand touched me, like I had another hand laying on top of my hand,” he told CBS News of that moment. “And when I looked over … nobody else was touching me. And it was like at that moment I knew. My daddy here, he right on the side of her.”
