Youíre ability to rationalize and draw moral equivalence where none exists is astounding.  Can you really be telling us that males bullshitting one another about their sexual exploits is any way comparable to the behavior of Bill Clinton, Carlos Danger, Harvey Weinstein and Epstein.  Presently you have a Democrat Congresswoman and a Senator  being tried for corruption, numerous investigations into the dirty dealings of Obama and the Clintons either ongoing or under serious consideration and you have the cajones to lecture us about what was said between two men in what they thought was a private conversation?  At long last, sir/madam, have you no shame?

You do know that women have accused Trump of sexual harassment and assault . Or does that doesn't count. Just like O'Reilly, Roger Ailes and what seems like every other no name guy that's on your favorite news station.

Sorry the "We are Value voters" butt shit has been exposed for a long time. Supporting Trump just made it obvious

Nori to that guest on technological change "I think so too, you can't fight technological change taking away jobs."

Nori to truck drivers "I'm against driverless trucks."

Nori's pandering to his listener base is pathetic.

I assume he hated the idea having syndication radio hosts when he local and fine with it now.

The more I think of Dr. Lobo show the more it sounds like Jorge had a dementia. He was jumping all over the place, not remembering the topic he was in and repeating stuff he just mentioned. He was a bit like a Will Ferrell doing a Harry Caray impression where he would be rambling about stuff that made no sense.

I am pretty excited for this. Will have to check it out over the weekend

You really should take your head out of your ass long enough to listen to Kellyís speech.  You and those who think like you are low rent trash.

I did listen to it, most of it is very good. But like all politicians (and yes CoS is a political position) there is some political BS to save his boss in there too

Him attacking the congresswoman about making it political when his boss was the first to make it political when he had to brag for himself and of course he can never do that without trying to tear others down and lying about what previous Presidents did.

He was also critical of the congresswoman listening in, when it was the family who decided to use a speaker phone for all to listen. BTW how many of Trump babysitters at the WH was listening in also.

Do I even have to get started with the whole "Women were sacred" as he's insulting the congresswoman and his boss has been quoted about grabbing Puss and bleeding from wherever.

Do the democrats have any minority elected officials that are not a cartoon mockery of a failed affirmative action program?

Lets compare the two during this situation

-Trump doesn't mention the Niger troops that were killed for 12 days, and only when a reporter brings it up.
-During that time Trump golfed and focused on stupid stuff like the NFL or whatever on Nuts and Friends many times over yet never once ever gave a word to honor the fallen troops
-Lies about previous Presidenents not calling fallen troops family
-Says to a mother of a fallen solider "He knew what he was getting into to" then tweets that he never said that, then the next day has Kelly saying he did say that but that's okay because that's how Kelly was told when his son died
-Exploits Kelly's son

vs.

Black congresswoman who friend of the family who happens to hear be in the car when the call comes in and Trump was on speakerphone so the family in the car can share in the call... And oh yeah, TOLD THE TRUTH

After the Packers ''locked arms'' during the National Anthem, the team was heavily criticized by their fans.  Aaron Rogers decided he'd seen ''a lot of 'hatred' on social media'' and posted the following image and commentary on Instagram:

I canít imagine what kind of social media attacks these cameramen must be enduring after taking a knee during the anthem and wearing a hat.
 #unity #equalityforall #love #cometogether #invitationtojoin

The day before that, he suggested the fans lock arms as well.

That's actually pretty clever by Aaron. Nobody seems to know or care when technical staff or non players are doing during the anthem

He is such a great player, sad to see him out for the rest of the year

The Pats-Jets game had the worst officiated game I've seen in a long time. It was a Jackstar special

The Lions-Saints game was crazy,  38- 52 Saints. The game resembled a video game

After reading your recaps I had to listen to it to see how bad it was. Jorge was indeed that horrible

These guys were meant to be on tonight, they were bumped 24 hours before showtime without explanation, pretty classless C2C.

Joorch: 'You can email me at george@coasttocoastam.com. If I don't get back to you right away, it's because I'm inundated with between 15 to 2,000 emails a day.'

I'll go with fifteen.

iHeart is pretty notorious for doing that. It wouldn't be surprising if they had callers waiting in the wings if the Coast audience isn't interested enough to.

I wonder if Jorge knows how bad it sounds for a national show for having the same callers get on almost daily. It makes it sound he has such a shallow pool of listeners

I really do wonder the amount of listeners Noory actually has, from the repeat callers, and even the non-regulars that come on that are so horrible (and at times not even talking about the topic) show they are certainly not screening for quality (maybe they are screening out the quality callers)

Even if you look at tweets directed to C2C he usually gets less than a dozen people tweeting him during the 4 hour show on a strong night

Alex has interviewed the sports world version, sorta, of Alex.

That's a good choice, if you are interested in that sort of stuff I will bring your attention to Declan Hill who wrote books on match fixing especially in world soccer. He also likes wearing a pompous scarf on his twitter photo and went to Oxford, which an elitist loving lib like myself makes him very relatable ;D

I do. Professional spectator sports are complete shit--especially baseball.

Ask around. I've made my position well-known, at times.

That said, I still don't see the kneeling as disrespectful to anyone other than the mouth-breathing dipshits who take professional spectator sports seriously.

Obvious jingoist propaganda is obvious.

I meant the "collective" you instead of you specific. BUT I am glad anyway on this issue we are kind on the same side.

Goodell caves. Trump wins. I can go back to watching selected games and NFL Red Zone again.  When will leftists finally realize that they are out of touch with America.  MAGA.

Ummm maybe not so fast

The NFL says that President Donald Trump was wrong when he tweeted Wednesday that the league is now demanding that players stand during the National Anthem.

"Commentary this morning about the Commissioner's position on the anthem is not accurate," said the league. "As we said yesterday, there will be a discussion of these issues at the owners meeting next week. The NFL is doing the hard work of trying to move from protest to progress, working to bring people together....Players from around the league will be in New York next week to meet with owners to continue our work together."

Not sure if Chemical Brother count, I think they do. "Let Forever Be" with  Noel Gallagher on vocals is great, and a fantastic video.

Is there a sports equivalent of Alex Jones. The World Cup is in Russia, and US doesn't qualify, there's got to be a conspiracy somewhere.

I like soccer, it's interesting hearing the blame game now. Some are saying it due to US team being too money driven and only scouting kids with the means to go to college and ignoring inner city kids who might have pure talent but not the resources.

Or we can just blame Trump as under Obama the US went to TWO World Cups!!!  ;D

LOL.  For such a long movie, it is entertaining with the camp element and it is really extremely well-done for the time.  Ridley Scott's film was disappointing especially the meeting Moses has with God.  DeMille did it better.  I break it out routinely every couple years.  I don't usually watch movies on TV unless they are on TCM or another channel without commercials.
.
I think DeMille version is well done by even todays standard. If they can put that thing on an IMAX screen, it would be awesome. I might buy a ticket on a regular screen

Every few years, I break out the Greatest Story Ever Told to watch at Easter or Christmas.  Actually I think my favorite movie about Jesus Christ was DeMille's King Of Kings though H. B. Warner was miscast.  After those, then Jesus of Nazareth by Zefferelli.  Have yet to watch JC Superstar or Scorcese's  The Last Temptation of Christ though they are in my collection.

My favorite Christmas film is Sim's Christmas Carol.  Used to watch Wonderful Life a lot but have taken a break from it for the last 10 or 15 years.

Surprisingly, I haven't watched Last Temp either, I remember as a kid the sh*tstorm it caused during it release, I do wonder if the perception of it was more controversial than the actual film. I should give it a look

JC Superstar was befor my time, but I would guess some would freak out. It seems pretty tame by today standards. Seriously the most controversial thing about it these days us that  Judas was portrayed as a black dude.

Jesus of Nazareth  is probably my favorite "traditional" Jesus story. Of course  10 Commandments is yearly on TV and watch it pretty regularly, but it's a loooong movie clocking in at 4 hours, not including commercials which can go up to 5 hours.

So Our Lady of Fatima was a whore with her knee length skirt?  I usually like Marzulli but he is rubbing me the wrong way tonight.

I don't get this either, he keeps calling it a "short skirt" even though just a few years into to 20s slightly below knee skirts is common style.

Plus I doubt Mary coming back with warnings to the world, a few inches of cloth wouldn't concern her

Always have been a big fan of the Fatima story. Unfortunately, how Noory schedules interviews we will only get about 30 minutes of actually interview (1:20-1:30 & 1:40 - 2:00) before normally bad callers. They are going to skim by a bunch of interesting stuff

You are all going to hate more (well more than you already do  :-X ) but I went tonight and ..... I liked it *ducks tomatoes*

Okay I will say it up front it not an action film, there a fight scene in the beginning and end and maybe one or two in the middle but it certainly didn't feel like an action movie

For me it felt more like a suspense/ connect the dots tight film. I watched it in 3D and I thought the scenery was beautiful, I also thought it stayed true to the original. I got a bit confused at the end (I haven't watched the original in a while) but I liked it. Even though it was a VERY long movie, it went a good 2:45. If you take into account previews and end credits you can be in there for 3 hours.

The person I went with had to go to the bathroom at the end, the last major scene didn't help lol  ;D

Last night a caller offered to purchase the land to build a "Coast to Coast University" in Virginia. George then said he wanted to talk to a university about students getting credit for listening to the show.

WOW JUST WOW

If you can it through 4 hours of C2C, 5 times a week you must have the patience of Job and probably deserve something.

You seem woefully uneducated as to the nature of things on this planet. Seriously. Read more.

Oh believe me I am well aware of the connection. But that's not really on the players, that's more on the owners/league. If you have a problem with it you should have a problem with or without kneeling.

I was iffy about the whole militarization after 9/11 when we started having regular army guards and fly overs before every game. Especially when the government was really pushing the march to war.

Again giving free money to owners to build stadiums and not relocating has been a long tradition. I would guess it happens in red states more then blue states as liberals tend to get their back up more for corporate welfare.

Look there's a laundry list of things to be against from hiring wife beaters, drug users, gun violence, tax funded stadiums, forced patriotism, ignoring concussions that caused CTE players to suicide & murder(which Trump want's to go back to because he hates sissy football) I find it fascinating that all the being said, it was a black dudes kneeling to a anthem is what caused the "moralists" to be outraged.

Texas Tech Police Officer Shot and Killed; Suspect in Custody

At campus police headquarters, the student pulled out a gun and shot an officer in the head, killing him, according to the statement from university spokesman Chris Cook

A campus police officer was shot and killed Monday at Texas Tech, prompting a lockdown that ended with the suspect's arrest later in the evening.

A call for a student "welfare check" brought campus officers to a room where they found drugs and drug paraphernalia, leading the officers to bring the student to the station for a standard debriefing, a spokesman for the school said in a statement.

At campus police station, the student pulled out a gun and shot an officer in the head, killing him, according to the statement from university spokesman Chris Cook. The victim has not been identified.

The shooting occurred around 8 p.m. CT (9 p.m. ET) Monday, according to BC affiliate KCBD in Lubbock, Texas. The suspect ran from the scene, authorities said, and the Lubbock SWAT team helped search for him.

He was caught by campus police about 9:30 p.m. CT (10:30 p.m. ET), and the lockdown was lifted shortly after.

Wait how do you bring somebody into the station on drug charges without even searching them..... *Looks at his photo*....... oh never mind

This article makes it sound like Trump ordered Pence to walk out of the Colts game earlier today. The TV news all evening made it sound like it was Pence's idea. Either way--GIVE ME AN EFFING BREAK!

One of the illiterate ballplayers accused Pence of a premeditated PR stunt.  Of course the player's actions aren't premeditated PR stunts.

The players "stunt" didn't cost the tax players one single dollar. Pence stunt does. Remember Conservative, this is the type of thing you hated

Did he pay for ticket? He certainly didn't pay for his travel, what about added security personal and for the stadium for him to go to perform this meaningless stunt. After Tom Price and the question of many others in the administration abusing their privilege . Drain the swamp indeed

We aren't even talking the bitch factor. Something you complain about for weeks, go to the event anyway, the thing you complain in the first place happens at said event, leave event, cry and complain about it on social media. Come on, how old are we here. It's amazing everything the right used to mock the left for from celebrity worship to snowflakery they are now acting it out in full since Trump arrived.

Not even getting to the gong show that Trump HAS to make it about himself and Pence story of it being "spontaneously" outrage decision, Trump contradicts it by saying they talked about doing it before hand.

Rex Reed is not a conservative movie reviewer and he's been around since 1970. He is also rather flamboyantly gay not someone I think of as a conservative.  The other review was from, yes, a conservative source. I thought Black Swan was boring and Noah stupid but to each his own.  The Wrestler was good though. Mind you, I'll probably check mother! out when it comes out on video just because I like many bizarre films. I have quite the subsection of bizarre movies in my movie collection.  Many a conservative would blush just reading some of the titles and no, I'm not talking about XXX porn.  We all have different perspectives about what is offensive.

I like my share of what some may call heretical films but I'm uncomfortable of things that I've heard about mother! I'm sick to death of the Christ-bashing coming from filmmakers. Yes, be critical of the church but don't mock the Trinity and Mary (I'm not a Catholic but I believe she should be respected). It is definitely one of the most panned dramas that I can remember in recent history and it has been panned by many mainstream critics and movie audiences. I read all sources, liberal and critical. So far Aronofsky is 1 for 3 in my book but we'll see.

I do respect your opinion though.  I'm tired of big stupid films and prefer films that are more cerebral. I'll be sure to let people know what I think when I do manage to finally see it.  Seriously, you'd probably call me a bit schizophrenic if you saw my collection.  lol

You are totally right, it was wrong of me to lump the two reviewers in the same category. That was unfair.

I watched IT three  Friday after the release an there was a 7pm showing and a 7:20, the 7PM was close to a sell out so I decided to go to the 7:20 and got decent seats but by the time the movie started that theater was sold old as well. It's really a juggernaut. Like most I thought it was really well done, but at times I think they rushed through each kids experience, but it's understandable in just a 2:15  film.  It's still in the top 3 in it's 5th week, that's just crazy.
