I also agree with Dershowitz that special counsels should be outlawed.  Why do I not recall a special counsel before the Watergate era?  We had numerous scandals previously but no special counsel that I can recall.  Please correct me if I'm wrong.  Let's talk about real crimes and misdemeanors.  The special counsel is unconstitutional. There is nothing in the Constitution that legitimizes a special counsel.  That is not part of the system of checks and balances.

Agree, the bill is a total abortion.  Flush it and stand strong.

The bill is an outrage.  The Democrats love it too.  Paul Ryan needs to step down as Speaker.  If this travesty is signed, I may not be able to vote for the lesser of two evils the next time around because there will be no such thing as a lesser of two evils.

Trump needs to veto this bill.  It has regulations that would forbid senior citizens from buying a gun.  WRONG.  WRONG. WRONG.  That is just one fault of the bill and there are many.

Let's put it like this, and don't take it the wrong way. If the world were to find out one morning that the whole rotten lot of you had choked on a doughnut nobody (except perhaps the makers of plus-size clothing) would give the slightest fuck.

That only applies to those of us who have no better halves.  Hmmm.  There are a lot of people on this site who don't appear to be married.  Pud's got Laura.  I've got my Mary Lou.  MV has his burka bride.  I think that covers all here who are hitched.  But yeah, you're probably right for the most part.

OK, here's one. You claim to be a fan of Rush and Mark Levin and trust them the most in terms of political news. They both agree that 1. There is a deep state and 2. There is a deep state coup underway. Are they conspiracy theorists too? I await your detailed response. :D

No, I don't think that falls into that category.  Clearly there is a good ol' boys and girls club in DC that is the establishment.  It is also called the Swamp.  There is nothing at all controversial about that topic.

I'll get the ball rolling.

And General Bullshit. :D ;)

Have at it MD!!! :D ;)

Any lover of classic movie cinema should love this.

Friedkin will also be releasing a new documentary within a few weeks about a real exorcism.  It is called The Devil and Father Amorth.

To Jojo and other interested members.  Let's take the political talk over to the politics threads and leave this thread to detail how much George Noory sucks.  I ask you Jojo because you don't seem to have a problem talking politics but have yet to visit for any length of time our political section.  I promise that I will be gentle with you.  I can't speak for the others though.

Interesting guest tonight.  He seems to think the government doesn't know much more than the average layman.

Reminds me of this saying.

"if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail."

That's the problem when you have governments filled primarily with freaking lawyers.  Everything in their world can be solved with more and more laws, since that's their hammer.  Pass more and more freaking laws.  Ban nails, ban straws, hell, just ban living.  Except for the attorneys? ;)  :D

Wow, talk about acting like a stereotype in so many ways....

I imagine it won't be long before someone is arrested for stealing watermelons from a farm.

I thought Dave did a very good job interviewing the "they killed Princess Di" guest last night.  Like many of her ilk, she tried to power through the interview with a scripted pitch meant to preclude the host from asking questions.  Dave wasn't having any part of it, however, and aggressively interrupted her spiel and challenged her to back up some of her more dubious assertions.  And to the guest's credit, for the most part she answered those challenges head on with fairly well thought out responses.  Doubt I'd buy the book, but I enjoyed the interview.

I just couldn't entertain myself to listen to the show because of that guest.  Princess Di was/is a goddess?  Really?  Sounds like she was trying to create a new cult.  It was New Age wackiness that I could do without.

Right, and I'm saying you need to wake up from this dream now where that was ever a fair system with your best interests in mind. If you can't see that both Democrat and Republican elites are in on this scam then you really are just an idiot routing for a sports team. ::)

3rd parties are not viable as of now.  Maybe that will change but I sort of doubt it.  When a significant portion of the conservative voting populace migrates to one, I'll join them.  Til then,  the Republican Party is, yes, the lesser of two evils.

So you vote for a president that was all in on it?!  ???

Great plan! :D

LOL.  I'd rather he was in there rather than Gore or Kerry.  So yes,  I do.  He was always the lesser of 2 evils.

Oh, yeah! That extra 4 years of needless war was awesome!  :D

How do you sleep at night?! ???

I'm on the record for thinking the 2nd Iraq War should have never been fought but once we were in there, we had better stay for as long as necessary and finish it right like we did in Japan.

I don't even understand how this is an insult? Before Trump they were all corrupt deep staters, even the stupidest fucking president EVER, George W Bush, who YOU voted for TWICE (you'd think you would've learned after that first term), you stupid faggot! ::)

Time to suck it up, sunshine. ;)

Better him than the alternative. ;)

So says the Obama/Clinton/Gore voter.  LOL.

Try harder!   :D ;)

You wouldn't know an allegory if it was served to you on a skewer, you clueless wanker.

Great to see you, Shreddie!  :D I wonder when Yorkshire Pudding is going to grace us with his presence?  That wife of his must be using the whip.

Lighten up, flyboy! All your friends are doing it. ;)

I knew Garner was a pothead.  So was Bing Crosby.  Now you know why he was so mellow and sang the way he did.  ;) I was just saying West didn't like mind altering chemicals including alcohol and she didn't touch cigarettes.  I really don't have a problem with some people doing pot.  I think it helped Willie Nelson.  I do think there are problems when people get fixated on it and I think it does make some people stupid but some people have a brain that goes 100 mph and they would like it dropped down to 50.  I'm worried that there will be many more people rather addicted to it if it is legalized countrywide but I'm not as opposed to it as I once was.  Let people take responsibility for what they put into their bodies.  The nanny state shouldn't tell them what to do.

But, indeed, it might have been poison for Alice.

LOL.  Just in case some people missed it when I first posted it a couple years ago.
