That's it exactly! He tries to come off as a celebrity bigshot but anyone who is anyone in entertainment knows he's a nobody and a creepy nobody at that. On the radio he's a bigshot, in real life he's a creepy loser, rejected by those he wants to hangout with.

I remember when George took over and Art supposedly told him to "not try and copy me but do your own thing and take C2C and put your own imprint on it."  So much for that idea...

I don't like the way the mods selectively edit peoples posts. If a post violates the tos, then remove the whole post. Editing out words, sentences, paragraphs seems more "uber nazi" to me that just removing the whole thing.

I've been using Windows 7 for a few months and it is really nice. It boots and shuts down really fast. I mostly just use it for playing games and use Ubuntu for everything else. I fix a lot of computers and Vista is just a nightmare.

I'm one of those crazy people who think Microsoft is evil so I won't be buying Win 7 but I've enjoyed the free trial.

Yeah I caught the rebroadcast. It was a great show! I thought I had heard all of Art's old shows but I'd never heard that one before. After the show I looked up the guys youtube video and even made myself a fidget at work. I got bored with it after about 10 mins.

I think the guys trick to getting through to Art was figuring in the delay and timing his phone call somehow. He was going to tell Art how he did it but Art didn't want him to say it on the air.

The Mythbusters did a show about the "fake" moon landing. I just watched it a few days ago.

It's like going to see a train wreck. You know you shouldn't but sometimes can't resist and then you end up regretting it. How anyone as ignorant, talentless, boring, and I suspect frequently drunk, can get to be a host of a once storied radio show is a question with no answer.

Do they publish ratings for his show? I looked once but couldn't find anything. How much do they pay the snooriot? Is that public knowledge?

I don't find it odd. There are just as credible reports debunking the conspiracy theories about 9/11. Besides there are some things that Art just didn't find interesting and didn't want to talk about.

It was probably a few weeks ago when a lady called in and the first thing she said was " I have a problem with something you said last night" George said "oh your phone just cut out! The sun is causing all kinds of problems with the phones these days" Next caller...

What an ass he is.

What irks me the most is how almost every caller starts with how wonderful george is and how they love him and he has changed their life. Does the screener make them say that crap or what?

I've enjoyed this thread and even learned a few things too, like how George likes to eat babies.

It's not the first time Shep has done that. He kind of creeped me out at first but now I like his show.

I don't know why people bag on O'Reilly so much. He doesn't seem all that right wing to me and his show is quite entertaining.

He's a talk show host in Canada and according to george does a show along the same subject lines as C2C. George talked briefly with him last night and told him "friday you get to sit on the throne". King George has spoken!

I heard the whole roby thing and it ranks right up there as one of the stupidest things ever heard on C2C. It's not easy to rank George's idiocy. I remember when C2C was good for the brain! Now I'm sure I lose brain cells every time I listen.

Yeah george went on about how he works holidays so that the ONE LONELY person out there, who doesn't have friends or family, will know he has friends at C2C. Geez... George must have been a very lonely child or something. 

I recall listening one night when the guest asked George what kind of car he was driving. Snoory wouldn't tell him because he didn't want his legions of fans stalking him. 

Peanut Butter is one of the best survival foods. It might be a good time to stock up!

Like many of you, I really tried to give Noory a chance. But listening to the show now does nothing for me but imbue my veins with enough rage and vitriol to fuel 10,000 suns. George Noory Sucks....So much....

What a terrific post! George is the poster boy for the dumbing down of society. If you look up the definition of fail, it should read George Noory. He had a huge opportunity to influence people for the better and instead he attempts to drag everyone down to his level of stupidity. C2C is only about what it can do for him. 

Yeah that is a creepy call. I didn't hear her laugh about it but I didn't hear any remorse either.

I've never heard Big O and Dukes. Is that talk radio format?

OT...You know what talk show I miss? It wasn't radio but the old Tom Snyder shows were great.

Leykis was on the air here in Phoenix around 20 yrs ago. A lady called in to the show and said that her dead husband didn't really commit suicide but that she had shot him and lied to the cops. She laughed about how she got away with it. They tracked her down (by her phone number) and tried to charge her but ended up dropping the charges for lack of evidence.

I never liked Leykis but Hendrie is a genius.

Last night Noory said that he always hears people out, lets then have their say and only cuts people off for profanity. He's so delusional that I bet he really believes that.

The other night George had Dannion Brinkley on and said about him "he has survived death."

I think it was the same night that Hoagland came on and made verbal love to snoory, thanking him for changing the world and taking c2c to new heights. I can't figure it out. I guess hoagland will kiss anyones ass to be on the radio. How far we have fallen....to new heights.

Georges disdain for Art is unmistakable. A few nights ago I heard him talk about his upcoming vacation and how he gets 3 weeks a year but only takes 1 week so he won't let his fans down. Then he mentioned that Art would be filling in a few nights but that there are no ratings during that week. It's like he was saying his ratings wouldn't drop just because Art was filling in! Noory doesn't have a ounce of class.
