We will never  know. Like every other time there’s a shooting. And most people believe what they see on the news. IMO they are getting sloppier with cover ups. And why not?  Most people are asleep.

Personally I always think it has to do with money. I mean hell every time it happens gun sales go through the roof. I wonder if someone had an insurance policy on the casino? My favorite conspiracy to date is that he was an arms dealer. Too many weird slip ups. The brother saying he was an arm...then stopping and staying he didn't mean it. The sheriff even hinted in a press conference that there were multiple shooters. I don't know IMO it doesn't add up. Then again I always question the main narrative.

Edit: What did it for me was the police scanner. And it always starts out with multiple shooters. Sandy Hook was the same way. And what happened to the guy in camp who was seen with a giant bag going into an RV? That was on the police scanner along with several other shootings going on at other Casinos. Any odd insurance policies issued or investments/stock deals? I wouldn't put it past some evil people and organizations to target an individual by using the chaos of a 'mass shooting', terrorism, etc so that motives and intended victim are not followed up on because of the sheer numbers and 'nobody could be that cold-hearted to kill so many innocent victims to take out one intended victim.'

The fountain at the Bellagio would be a place people would congregate, it's a known landmark. Could they be driven there, or carried there, or collapsed after an adrenaline fueled rush there. Sure.
