Having almost no personal involvement with any one of the players makes me unusually qualified to issue a ludicrous, batcrap loony conspiracy theory that may seem shockingly salacious (incidentally, not intentionally mind you).

Someone at FB already offered her that. She said if they started one she would stop it. Something to the effect that she only wants money for the merits of a doing good show. In fact, the poor good folks at her fb page have made generous offers to her, including money, one-on-one counseling, etc, trying to help alleviate her suffering, but like a good martyr she’s refused everything (but the subscriptions).

I don't see people here hating on her, only those who find her very public ‘poor me’ meltdown a sad distraction for Art’s listeners who wish to honor him following his death.

Art lost his beloved Ramona who was business partner, spiritual protector and adviser, romantic attachment, homemaker, mother of his children, traveling companion, conversational companion, etc.

He marries Airyn and he gets a homemaker, physical and emotional companionship, escapes to another country to get away from everything that reminded him of his grief.

Perhaps Airyn is not so fluent in English.  We know from if nothing else Aldous' comments on GabCast that Airyn thought Art's "fans" were weirdos and that she seemed to have no interest in the subjects which were Art's passions, and we know from various comments from Art himself that Airyn was not interested in his passions, his life's work in radio, or the people that Art interacted with in relation to his passions.

She was great for giving him children, having dinner ready, keeping the household together, providing physical and emotional comfort.  But unlike Ramona he did not have the ability to truly communicate with her in all the deeply thoughtful, intellectual ways that an intelligent person like Art feels unfulfilled without.  Especially without even a radio show to speak to guests and callers there was no intellectually stimulating or rewarding interaction, and there might have been an everyday language barrier with Airyn as well (I have no idea how well she speaks English).

Then we have a self-proclaimed witch and avid fan of Art who also has a lust for fame and success.  Witches are by nature manipulators and those who lust for power and fame often have sociopathic tendencies.  She may well be the type that endeavors to seduce (not necessarily physically) an object (person) deemed useful or who they wish to emulate by becoming everything their object desires.  First they force personal contact.  They closely examine every reaction and quickly begin molding their personality, likes, dislikes, sense of humor, etc to match their victim.  The victim will feel uneasy at first but the charms will be powerful and the relentless persistence of the perpetrator will often win out if the person is weak in mind, body, emotional state, unhappy with their life in any way, etc.  The hooks get deeper in with every interaction.

So you have a man potentially lacking a companion to relate with and along comes a comparatively young (and likely attractive to a man of his age) woman who expresses an interest in passion in exactly every single thing that is dear to Art.  She's from the same country and culture and speaks the same language natively.  She also is casting her little witch spells and charms to attempt to influence Art to notice and see her in a positive way while appealing to him on every level.  Intellectually, physically, the works.  Love of radio, love of paranormal, love of watching the stars above the desert, love of technology like phones and drones, love of vaporizer, and oh that's my favorite brand and flavor, that's my favorite song too, and I totally know what you mean about that I've always felt the same way, I can't believe how much we have in common, all I ever wanted was all the same things you wanted and now have I bet I could learn so much from you, I would just do anything at all and I mean anything at all for such opportunities.  Oh I always was such a fan but I had no idea we would end up being just like two peas in a pod, cut from the same cloth, soul mates, we're so alike, et al.

As with all people who mold themselves to try to become someone else because they envy them or because they are obsessed with them, when the object of their energy-sucking mimicry either cuts ties or passes away they are suddenly left in a crisis of having no identity of their own.  Such a person siphons the essence day by day of their victim, draining their vital energy.  When the feed runs out the energy sucker goes into a starvation frenzy of psychosis.

Heather would surely qualify to Airyn as one of the weirdo fans of Art that made her uncomfortable and without Art around to buffer her I would assume she is having nothing to do with her.  If she was really a part of the Bell household (and not just attached to Art) then HW wouldn't say that Art was her only friend because she would have the rest of the Bells there with her.

How about that for a big crazy fuzzy picture that demonstrates somebody is spending too much time on an internet forum talking about people who are strangers?  No need to post the cat paws gently removing the hands from the keyboard, I'll show myself out.

i tend to agree. I think this is more about being disturbed by what’s happening to Art Bell’s legacy, and  seeing someone act crazy.. not stepping up for his widow and kids, but complaining about how no one understands her big loss. I mean, whatever we thought of Art for ditching MITD, and his choice of replacements, I think we still care about his body of work, and about his actual family.

She obviously in clear depression and not thinking clearly. Empathy isn’t the worse thing to have towards people. She isnt’t a criminal, or other horrible person. She doesn’t try to force fake beet juice or quack medical advice. Not sure I agree with the extreme hatred being flung her way.

She's young and inexperienced just as we all once were, but whoever is around her certainly should have advised her to take a break for a while to properly cope with Art's death before going onto social media to post things she shouldn't be posting.  It baffles me that she didn't learn that very valuable lesson after the many times Art himself posted things he later regretted.

You do have a good point, though, nobody should "hate" her simply for the fact that she isn't Art Bell.  Nobody can or will ever replace Art Bell... George Noory learned that the hard way.  The difference now is that Noory had the experience and self discipline to properly respond to Art's death, unlike Heather did.

Personally I don't care for her as a host, so I don't listen, but certainly there is no need to post anything outwardly hateful about her especially right now.
