It is clear what she has been doing...she's trolling every social media account that has mentioned Art Bell, and inserting her comment (i.e. "show plug") that she can find.  It must be tiring....HW how about creating a special page of you and Art....forget about the show for a while.  If you truly felt that way about him, surely you must have some things you'd like to share with the world, like personal photos that only YOU have, anecdotes, etc.  This is the direction that you might wanna take...

From the revelations on Heather's Facebook page today apparently the number of monthly paying subscribers for MITD has been shrinking over her period as host, plus the monthly fee was reduced in half when she started hosting, and that is insufficient to pay for running the network.

In light of all this news, could her plan for the Area 51 invasion been an attempt to get publicity to increase subscriptions?

and that's why i allege they wanted the exclusive on the death announcement; it represented a one-shot promotional mechanism.  some might think i'm awful for believing that, but i believe it.  shove off. 

i think they hoped to announce art's death exclusively and then corral all subsequent news mentions of art's death around their own announcement on their own website, where a plug for the show would be conspicuously inserted.  their announcement would have been linked to or referenced by a swath of news outlets/bloggers/twitter/fb, etc.

instead, with things failing to go their way (thanks, NCSD), it didn't work out like that.  far from it.
