Guitar sales have talked.  China makes really good instruments (for the price) .  Gibson and Fender are in financial matters (Gibson, especially)...  Kids are growing up stupid.  It used to be that, after I tragedy, there would be tons of tribute songs written... Nowadays, no one writes songs they just whine on social media... Kind of like here 😁

I'll add one more reason.  I own a Buescher "Big B" and a couple of Martin "pro" models (love the searchlight) as well as an old Conn 10M.  To tie this to Art Bell- the Imperial searchlight was also known as the "alien invasion" due to the engraving. 

I believe that I probably paid less for all of these pro level horns than I would for one modern pro model.  There are a lot of industries where old examples of great craftsmanship go "cheap."  There simply is no way for a producer to match the quality and craftsmanship at a reasonable price.  Not just music instruments, but many other items as well...

***Mine is silver (tarnished right now).  But this is the standard lacquer. Never really tied it into Bell until now.

Oh, I've had a couple of incidents.  Some girl who swore I was John Lennon's son...  Uh, that was sad...  Then there was a guy in my backyard looking in a window.  With an infant and toddler in the house, I flipped.

The DA said that his record was my saving grace.  I literally tried to rip his heart out...  I busted him up good, I never could play any instruments like before.  I tore myself up bad. Adrenaline and paternal instinct kicked in.

Now, I have weapons.

I recently picked up an Emperor Regent but one that was made in Korea.

The wood doesn't care (or know) where it was cut...  I have come to really like Korean instruments.  When I was still recording and playing local shows, I had 5 Korean instruments in my regular rotation.  Most had upgraded electronics.... Because I could hear the difference.

3) How many station is Mitd syndicated on right now?  How many when Art did it?

4) Who is a lesbian?  Was someone outed against there will (or it was an obvious/open secret e.g. drives a Subaru)?

6) What is the relationship between Mitd and Rush Limbaugh? (I am missing something) - Did Keith work for Rush?
