Europe might be a lost cause, hopefully not, but at least it might wake up the citizens in the US, Canada, Australia, NZ, etc because currently our politicians also, like Hillary, want this "fundamental change" to happen here by having no borders and suicidal "refugee" and "asylum" policies and praise Islam's peace and refuse to identify, or fight, the real problem. (Note the article is from a reactionary, "far-right" website- NPR.)

It would appear that EU governments are using Obama-style policies for their refugees. Often sending them to small towns and rural communities to try to destroy traditional European life, religious, culture, and way of life. And make the areas more "diverse." I'm not aware of voting patterns so I can't tell if they also are using the Obama strategy of using illegals and "refugee" placement as "revenge" on areas and States that didn't vote for them or not.

France "urges" people to take in the flithy, and often criminal, "refugees" into their own homes. That will work out well. Sweden is asking people to house them and allow the "refugees" use their empty vacation homes.

Meanwhile, like here, we learn that the German government knew about the Muslim Mohammed Daleel who bombed in Ansbach but, due to political correctness and bureaucracy, delayed arresting him but simply sent a letter warning him that he will be deported in the future which allowed to him to practice the peace of Islam. Even though a psychological assessment warned of the potential. These are the people our politicians, like Obama and Hillary, are importing into our country.

More cultural problems for Germany.

Quote from: breitbart.com
German authorities are reportedly “sounding the alarm” over a sharp rise in child marriages after noting that more and more girl are disappearing from school. Justice Minister Heiko Maas has announced “drastic” new measures to tackle the problem.

The girls are usually married to older men, and the trend is being linked to the new wave of migrants who entered the country over the past 18 months. The state has logged over 1,000 child marriages, but N24.de reports that the number of unreported cases may dwarf this number.

They should talk to Theresa Kachindamoto, in Malawi.

Quote from: the earthchild.com
A Malawian female chief has established a new law to prevent child marriage in Malawi and has terminated approximately 850 child marriages across the country to date.

Theresa Kachindamoto, a senior chief in the Dedza district of Malawi, claimed that her decision to take a stand came from her frustration over seeing 12-year-old girls walking around with babies on their hips.

A good move. It is a crazy world. A Bavarian court has decided that child marriages (even to one's own cousin) is ok because it meets with Sharia law and customs of Sunni Islam and legal in their former country of Syria.

It is a crazy world, albrecht, and sickening.

Quote from: zerohedge.com
Investigators discovered this month that at least four U.N. peacekeepers in the Central African Republic allegedly paid girls as little as 50 cents in exchange for sex.

The most recent allegations involve at least four peacekeepers who are accused of paying girls as young as 13 for sex at a camp for the internally displaced next to the international airport in Bangui, the capital. The site, known as M’poko camp, is home to 20,000 people, mostly Christians. It is a vast agglomeration of white tents surrounding old, decaying airplanes, just yards from the airport runway.

The United Nations was also strongly criticized for failing to react to offenses by peacekeepers in the country. As many as 14 troops from France, Chad and Equatorial Guinea allegedly raped and sodomized six boys between the ages of 9 and 15 in 2013 and 2014, before the U.N. mission formally began. The United Nations took no action after learning about the cases until a whistleblower leaked an internal U.N. investigation to French authorities, according to U.N. officials.

â€" From January’s post: U.N. Peacekeepers Caught Paying 50 Cents for Sex with 13-Year-Old Girls in War Zones

The following excerpts are gut wrenching and absolutely sickening.

The AP reports:

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) â€" The soldier pointed his AK-47 at the female aid worker and gave her a choice.

“Either you have sex with me, or we make every man here rape you and then we shoot you in the head,” she remembers him saying.

She didn’t really have a choice. By the end of the evening, she had been raped by 15 South Sudanese soldiers.

On July 11, South Sudanese troops, fresh from winning a battle in the capital, Juba, over opposition forces, went on a nearly four-hour rampage through a residential compound popular with foreigners, in one of the worst targeted attacks on aid workers in South Sudan’s three-year civil war. They shot dead a local journalist while forcing the foreigners to watch, raped several foreign women, singled out Americans, beat and robbed people and carried out mock executions, several witnesses told The Associated Press.

For hours throughout the assault, the U.N. peacekeeping force stationed less than a mile away refused to respond to desperate calls for help. Neither did embassies, including the U.S. Embassy.

The Associated Press interviewed by phone eight survivors, both male and female, including three who said they were raped. The other five said they were beaten; one was shot. Most insisted on anonymity for their safety or to protect their organizations still operating in South Sudan.

The accounts highlight, in raw detail, the failure of the U.N. peacekeeping force to uphold its core mandate of protecting civilians, notably those just a few minutes’ drive away. The Associated Press previously reported that U.N. peacekeepers in Juba did not stop the rapes of local women by soldiers outside the U.N.’s main camp last month.

From the start of the attack, those inside the Terrain compound sent messages pleading for help by text and Facebook messages and emails.

“All of us were contacting whoever we could contact. The U.N., the U.S. embassy, contacting the specific battalions in the U.N., contacting specific departments,” said the woman raped by 15 men.

A member of the U.N.’s Joint Operations Center in Juba first received word of the attack at 3:37 p.m., minutes after the breach of the compound, according to an internal timeline compiled by a member of the operations center and seen by AP.

Eight minutes later another message was sent to a different member of the operations center from a person inside Terrain saying that people were hiding there. At 4:22 p.m., that member received another message urging help.

Five minutes after that, the U.N. mission’s Department of Safety and Security and its military command wing were alerted. At 4:33 p.m., a Quick Reaction Force, meant to intervene in emergencies, was informed. One minute later, the timeline notes the last contact on Monday from someone trapped inside Terrain.

For the next hour and a half the timeline is blank. At 6:52, shortly before sunset, the timeline states that “DSS would not send a team.”

“The peacekeepers did not venture out of the bases to protect civilians under imminent threat,” Human Rights Watch said Monday in a report on abuses throughout Juba.

Asked why U.N. peacekeepers didn’t respond to repeated pleas for help, the U.N. said it is investigating.

The assault at the Terrain pierced a feeling of security among some foreigners who had assumed that they would be protected by their governments or the hundreds of U.N. peacekeepers almost next door.

Given the United Nations’ track record, I can’t say I’m shocked. For example…

Yep. It is crazy. The politicians are suicidal. The people are waking up but it might be too late for those countries.

btw, Paladin1991- did you get that Economist article about the flood of people moving up to the Inland Empire and Pacific NW to escape other areas over run from illegals, refugees, high taxes, etc? (Of course they spun it as those 'wacky conspiracy' people or racist but interesting that it made an international magazine.) I think this is why Obama is directing more 'refugees' and 'asylum seekers' up to those states.

I seem to recall this kind of stuff happening back when the UN and NATO was helping the radical Muslims in the Balkans. There is a sad history of "Peace Keepers" looking the other way, not intervening, or even themselves committing sexual abuse and even human trafficking.

Yes.  I caught that, thank you.  2 days later the local press glommed onto it and softened the 'radical' spin of the original.  They spoke with at least one of those quoted in the original article and expanded on his comments.  Context, something that is often abused.

Yep, the press always selects quotes, edits shows, etc depending how they want to 'spin' the story.

Recently there has been a spate of guests on C2C hailing from Spokane. A 'free energy' inventor and also an ex-cop who became a modern day Dr. Doolittle and animals speak to her. She said she 'lost some friends' when she came out as an animal psychic (or whatever one would call it.) Very funny/crazy show.

Have any of you guys wringing your hands about the refugees ever looked at the current process?  Which takes 18 to 24 months. Probably the only way to make it more stringent is to not let them in at all like Donald says. Or used to say. I know it's now "under review".

Tell me. How many refugees have committed terrorist acts since they have come?

The Screening Process for Refugee Entry Into the United States - WhiteHouse.gov

Recurrent vetting: Throughout this process, pending applications continue to be checked against terrorist databases, to ensure new, relevant terrorism information has not come to light. If a match is found, that case is paused for further review. Applicants who continue to have no flags continue the process. If there is doubt about whether an applicant poses a security risk, they will not be admitted.
Many refugee applicants identify themselves to the U.N. Refugee Agency, UNHCR. UNHCR, then:
Collects identifying documents
Performs initial assessment
Collects biodata: name, address, birthday, place of birth, etc.
Collects biometrics: iris scans (for Syrians, and other refugee populations in the Middle East)
Interviews applicants to confirm refugee status and the need for resettlement
Initial information checked again
Only applicants who are strong candidates for resettlement move forward (less than 1% of global refugee population).
Applicants are received by a federally-funded Resettlement Support Center (RSC):
Collects identifying documents
Creates an applicant file
Compiles information to conduct biographic security checks
Biographic security checks start with enhanced interagency security checks

Refugees are subject to the highest level of security checks of any category of traveler to the United States.
U.S. security agencies screen the candidate, including:

National Counterterrorism Center/Intelligence Community

FBI

Department of Homeland Security

State Department

The screening looks for indicators, like:

Information that the individual is a security risk

Connections to known bad actors

Outstanding warrants/immigration or criminal violations

DHS conducts an enhanced review of Syrian cases, which may be referred to USCIS Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate for review. Research that is used by the interviewing officer informs lines of question related to the applicant’s eligibility and credibility.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/USCIS interview:

Interviews are conducted by USCIS Officers specially trained for interviews

Fingerprints are collected and submitted (biometric check)

Re-interviews can be conducted if fingerprint results or new information raises questions. If new biographic information is identified by USCIS at an interview, additional security checks on the information are conducted. USCIS may place a case on hold to do additional research or investigation. Otherwise, the process continues.

Biometric security checks:

Applicant’s fingerprints are taken by U.S. government employees

Fingerprints are screened against the FBI’s biometric database.

Fingerprints are screened against the DHS biometric database, containing watch-list information and previous immigration encounters in the U.S. and overseas.

Fingerprints are screened against the U.S. Department of Defense biometric database, which includes fingerprint records captured in Iraq and other locations.

If not already halted, this is the end point for cases with security concerns. Otherwise, the process continues.

Medical check:

The need for medical screening is determined

This is the end point for cases denied due to medical reasons. Refugees may be provided medical treatment for communicable diseases such as tuberculosis.

Cultural orientation and assignment to domestic resettlement locations:

Applicants complete cultural orientation classes.

An assessment is made by a U.S.-based non-governmental organization to determine the best resettlement location for the candidate(s). Considerations include:

Family; candidates with family in a certain area may be placed in that area.

Health; a candidate with asthma may be matched to certain regions.

A location is chosen.

Travel:

International Organization for Migration books travel

Prior to entry in the United States, applicants are subject to:

Screening from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s National Targeting Center-Passenger

The Transportation Security Administration’s Secure Flight Program

This is the end point for some applicants. Applicants who have no flags continue the process.

U.S. Arrival:

All refugees are required to apply for a green card within a year of their arrival to the United States, which triggers:

Another set of security procedures with the U.S. government.

Refugees are woven into the rich fabric of American society!

The government doesn't need to flood the US with third world refugees. Especially when rich countries surround their boarders. Logically it doesn't make sense.

I believe the number is 0. Saudi Arabia has the infrastructure already in place to deal with the amount of people coming out of Syria. It doesn't benefit them, so they do nothing.

ISIS is Sunni. Syria is not. Most refugees are Shia or other denominations. Saudi Arabia is run by the Sunnis. They will not allow any refugees in. We should not take in any refugees from the Middle East until the other countries are totally full. They are dumping them into Europe and the Americas and then expect accommodation instead of assimilation.

Your point about the vetting is meaningless when someone shows up with no documentation and the biometrics only works if someone has been entered into a system prior to their fingerprints being taken as part of the process.

How many refugees have committed terrorist acts in the US?  Two that we know of plus the Tsarnov brothers who's parents were refugees and who went back for their terrorist training. Now, do you call rape a terrorist act?  Where do you draw the line? I looked to see if I could find crime statistics for refugees and I didn't see any easy to quote links. Start with the two recent incidents in Idaho and work your way back.

If we are going to bring people into this country, we should be looking for the best and the brightest.  People that want to assimilate and actually take our laws and our form of society as their new way of life. If they don't want to change to conform to western society, then we should not allow them in.

I doubt Saudi Arabia would them in, even if they were Sunni's. There's no benefit to them clothing, feeding, and taking care of 100's of thousands of refugees. Geographically and culturally it makes the most sense. Tribalism? Sure. Besides they're stuck in the 1400's anyways. Using nuclear weapons is okay with me...

Their Ideology is what I don't want. Unfortunately Muslims are unwilling/unable to separate from their Ideology. Their beliefs make it impossible to integrate into a democratic society.

We are becoming Europe where reporting is not allowed, displaying our flag is banned in some areas/schools, and rape, terrorism, and murders by illegals and 'refugees' is almost accepted. It is a bizarre phenomena. I'm sure some psychiatrist has a term for it. Like a beaten wife or pedo victim defending their abuser or something. It is insane to the point that an illegal gets a better deal than a citizen for things like higher education and are treated much, much better than even damaged veterans sent to fight wars with rules of engagement that harm them (free healthcare, free housing (at least temporary,) free legal aid, free meals (my school district is even going to start serving DINNER,) and 'get out of jail free' cards if caught by the administration. We not only just open the border but actually give them free stuff as an incentive!

considering the rape and crime rate by the 'refugees' and 'asylum seekers' in Sweden that term is very a propos. It is a very weird phenomena that the people supposedly outraged about the alleged discrimination against women, homosexuals, BLTQs, blacks, etc in Western nations support, and encourage, the invasion of people who currently treat those groups horribly and whose religion specifically promotes the abuse (in writings and especially in modern preaching and practice.) It is bizarre.
