What happened to Carmen Boulter? Her website still says that she will be on Art's show tonight...

Could be a variety of reasons. To be paranoid, it's possible that someone at PremRat saw this thread and did some tampering.

That said, I prefer the simpler answer- plans change.

I've never heard Art's guest for tonight, "Father" Ashcraft, but I've seen his name on several Catholic sites that question his pedigree as a legitimate Catholic priest.  Part of the confusion comes from his claim to be ordained into the Byzantine Rite, most mainstream Roman Catholics don't understand the Byzantines as it is anyway.  He can't be any worse than "Father" Wingate or my all-time favorite loon, Kathleen Keating.

Speaking of which, if anyone gets on air tonight how about asking Art and the guest if they know what happened to Keating?  I know there was some speculation she died, but after reading the obit for "that" Keating, I think she was too old to be our Kathleen.

I wonder why Art doesn't realize his guest list at the beginning of the week.  He's said on air that for some reason he can't announce guests ahead of time.  Not to be conspiratorial...haha...but maybe it's a measure to prevent Premier interfering?  I mean, we know Noory plays dirty pool.

Kathleen Keating. I haven't heard about her in a long time. I used to live in Nebraska and she lived in the northwestern part of the state. I got a kick on her allegations that Maitreya would visit her, dressed in Armani suit, and threaten her . . . politely . . . .

So from what I expect he is a Sedevacantist ("the chair is empty.") Basically a schism (though not sure if officially so) in the Church in that they think the current Pope (and his line) is not officially or legally the Pope. Sometimes some interesting characters. Malachi Martin seemed, to me, to be ALMOST one but never went over that line. Not sure exactly, there are also some branches (historically and now apparently) who claim/have full communion with the Roman Church from branches way back (so called Orthodox Catholic churches, some of whom can marry- because they branched off before the Roman Church prohibited that for priest, likely due to corruption/property/money-interest not the sex stuff. Because marriage was banned before celibacy, or so I heard. More about inheritances, property, and power of families, regents, etc vs Church. Or so I heard.) The Sedevacantists though say no more affiliation but, maybe, claim they are "waiting" for the Papal line to be back-on-track or, maybe, some claim to even be so? Could be an interesting show.

And, yes, I would LOVE to know the whereabouts of Kathleen Keating or, if still alive, get her back on with Art. That could be epic.

I'm sure Art would tell you he delays announcing guests to prevent George/Premier from interfering.  Mind you, this is the same guy who just six months or so ago fired a defiant "you better not fuck with me" broadside at George/Premier declaring himself the 500 lb gorilla of talk radio and that he would hit back hard if they tried to do anything to tamper with or otherwise sabotage MITD.  So where are we today?  Skulking around playing hide & seek with a guest schedule for fear big, bad George is going to poach or otherwise compromise them.  That's pretty weak, analogous to standing up to a bully, daring him to knock a stick off your shoulder, then hiding the stick so you won't get your ass kicked.  Threats must be credible to be taken seriously, and I think the folks on "the other show" are laughing about having the bluff on Art.

C'mon Art, grow a pair, we are behind you.  If there is proof George/Premier tries to mess with you or your guests, I think there are enough of us devious, but vaguely lovable types here who can literally make George fearful of ever taking a call again on C2C.  You can't do MITD looking in the rearview mirror, don't give them the satisfaction of knowing they're in your head.

I disagree. I think waiting until the day of the show to find out the guests is really cool. I like the surprise.

Art knows what he is doing.

I'm guessing, Dan, that you'll listen to Art regardless of who the guest is on any given night.  I don't do that, I listen only to the guests/topics I have an interest in.  Not knowing the guest until the day (sometimes night) of a show makes it difficult to plan for that night/next morning.  I have to believe there are others who would like to know guests in advance.  And yes, I dutiful pony up my $5/month, but listening to shows later doesn't do much for me because I enjoy the give & take of the live thread during the show.

But Uncle Duke! You are missing the best part, the part that makes Art such a good host!

To get the most out of each show, you should open up some beverage, open up some time, and open up your mind to a new take on just about any subject.

We disagree in our listening habits. *shrug*

I do and I don't. Living on the east coast and getting up at 6am means I cannot listen live. If I am awake, I will listen to the show live regardless of the guest. I don't have time to listen to all 5 shows during the day every week, so I normally listen to the guests that interest me the most.

I guess for me, I can know who the guest was a day late and still be ok.

IDK, I am just so happy Art is back.

Who

Try Googling Father Jack Ashecraft and see what you get.  The website listed for him http://www.trueexorcist.com does not work.  His Linked-in page is non-existent.  The seminary he claims to have attended says they never heard of him.    Here's a link to an article about him.
