Yep. It always was. Along the same pattern we spend billions and send troops, drones, to defend borders in places like Korean DMZ, Ukraine, various Arab countries, send millions to Israel to do same, but leave ours open ? We enact vigorous, invasive searches for US citizens to travel, get a driver's license, vote, buy booze, get government assistance, etc but allow illegals to travel with a piece of paper, cross the open border, get government housing/healthcare/legal help/education, or get a "student" or "refugee" VISA, and often bring your family- that we don't even track once you get here? In the name of "national security?" Yeah, right.
