Guys, gals and whathaveyous, help me out here. I was at a friend's place earlier and we were trying to figure out the name of a band that came out a few years ago. It's a duet with a guy with a really low, gravely voice, almost Tom Waits-like and a woman with a sweeter more angelic voice. I thought I remembered hearing they were from Australia but I'm not sure. My friend seemed to think that the band's name was a day of the week (probably Wednesday) and something else. Any ideas?
