Sorry.  Not following you. I am getting a little tipsy.  Pardon me.  ;)

Me either. It wasn't even a link to one of my posts. Truly baffling! :D

One valuable side effect of Art's Friday The 13th exit- it's mimimized the boring politically distasteful mobius strip that had of late characterized BellGab and put the emphasis back on inappropriate low brow humor just as it should be.

I chalk that up to people just realizing that the Bellgab conservatives were right and giving up. Lasting well over a year I think this must be a world record for the world's longest politically induced hissy fit.  ;D

Hello I'm new have been an Art Bell listener for many years. Was a listener of the show until Heather started getting weird about 6 months ago. No longer listen to MITD too much drama.

Hi, Heather! So, this is your new lurking avatar? :D

Ha, that's all right.  MD was gone for the weekend.  http://bellgab.com/index.php?topic=9159.msg1183144#msg1183144

I'm not sure what's being implied here...but I also don't care. :P

Absolutely.  Especially if one is in love.

...or suffering from a lack of oxygen that gives the illusion of being drunk.  But whatever.  Love.

Sorry, buddy...maybe I am drunk...or accidentally absorbed some sort of psychedelic because I've totally lost the thread of this conversation now. :P

Yes. There could be the popular version of the story and then the more professional "Frontline" version. I can hear Ross introducing a segment: "from the beginning there were always concerns about bumper music legalities but that was only the beginning of how a formerly hugely popular award-winning radio host successful in the late night hours would end in his death with a young wife and children and crazy witch, in a compound in the desert near brothels. This ladies and gentlemen is the story of Dark Matter and MITD, the story you didn't hear about...."

Yeah, he'd be a good choice too.

Should be a documentary made or a netflix series narrated by Leo maybe made about the whole Dark Matter and MITD 'radio' drama.

I wouldn't mind that for realz...only with Hendrie narrating. I really can't hear anyone else doing it.

Heather is the next best thing to Mike Siegal.  Keith bought the show from Art, contingent upon Art futily trying to teach her the job.  Now, she's angling for the upper hand, and nobody cares.  Keith ought to recruit, Gary Leggiere.

I hope this post finally puts to rest the rumor that I'm, Art Bell.

I don't think that was ever a rumor. :)

Just as I previously stated, Dershowitz is not an honorable man. He's in the tank for the Dems and is only on Fox to soft sell their narrative to us. Disgusting! ::)

Come on is it not plain to you drop that Meinu like a hot potato, no one cares about her and what she wants, she knifed you in the back, grow a pair and do a Trump and fire her ass and start making money instead of powerding her behind.

You wouldn't even answer questions about the sake you supposedly sell. ::)

LOL.  I didn't notice that before.  Has to be a horror comedy.

Just checked.  The Horror of It All is a American/British film directed by Hammer stalwart, Terence Fisher.

I'm not going to write full reviews of these but I wanted to let you know about a couple of movies I rewatched recently. Two modern movies from the early 80s that were meant to look like old movies from Hollywood's golden era. First, Zelig, a Woody Allen movie about an amazing man with the ability to metamorphize his looks to acclimate to the people he's with at any moment. Allen blends old footage with new to create a believable and funny illusion. If Woody has a hidden gem this is it. Next, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid  is a movie by Steve Martin where he attempts sort of the same concept, in techinque at least. Martin inserts himself with modern footage into the archetypical 30s tough guy detective role and then proceeds to weave the story in such a way that many of his scenes are playing opposite many of the actors and actresses of the era. It's pretty funny in a much sillier way and perhaps not as succesfully executed as Allen's vision but not bad either.

Are you buying into the long lost daughter theory?

Either that or that she and Art may have been romantically involved seem at least plausible. We might not know for awhile though. Consider this: With the show in disarray and spiraling around the bowl what's Heather's best shot at future revenue now? That's right! A tell-all book. Bank on it!. ;)

More to the story...NO...just a drama queen that had her fantasy crushed and wants (expects) control.

Probably but I'm not so sure about this yet.
