5 hrs for any show is too much...except Art Bell, of course.

I tried listening to Heather just now and all I heard was a rambling caller.  I sincerely hopes she goes back to 3 hours because I don't even bother tuning in anymore.  Focus on guests, Heather.  Build up a large fan base and then maybe you can take more calls but for now this is painful.  Off to the movies for me.  Cheers, everyone. :D ;)

Good call. I need to catch up on movie watching.

Maybe so.  Both Hillary and Trump's negatives are very high.  I know I'm already sick and tired of hearing her shrill loud voice give campaign speeches.

Me too! She's a total carpetbagger. Whatever way the wind blows. Not exactly the character of a leader but it's not like there's really a choice.

What if Bernie doesn't concede without a bitter convention fight?  He might decline an invitation to join Clinton on a ticket unless he is the Presidential nominee.  He will never be President if Hillary has an 8 year run.  He'll be 82 years old and probably about ready to check into a nursing home that is if he is still alive. Where will disgruntled Bernie voters go?  Not to Hillary, that's for sure.

We shall see what happens but I hope her campaign goes down in flames.

Sure they will. They'd rather turn to someone relatively close to their own political neighborhood than someone from a another planet. I'm not for her but she will be president and I believe bateman also called the VP correctly too.

I have a great example of this:

The other week I was listening to Little Steven's Underground Garage. He was playing new music by Dion (I Wanna Ride With You). Now, I could've sworn that Dion committed suicide 25-30 years ago and yet here was new music playing by him on the radio. I seriously started to give some credence to the Mandella Effect and thought maybe I was experiencing it. However, I stuck with it a bit longer and started researching this. Dion had hits like The Wanderer and Runaround Sue in 1961. That same year a guy named Del Shannon had a hit called Runaway. He, unfortunately, is the one who killed himself back in 1990.

I can't understand Charlie. Did he say he's cookoo for coca puffs?

Was that the nervous, sweaty guy from Area 51? I had to go potty during that call.

Yep.

The book I was referring to as a reference for sports nutrition is Nancy Clark's "Sports Nutrition Guidebook".  An RD who has specialized in this area for many years, recommended by my prof who was also a runner.

I love running too! Unfortunately, the knees aren't what they were these day. It's funny, I never feeling it during the run (endorphins, I suppose) but afterward. Good shoes help.  ;)

He had some wacky ones though, like numerology, 2012 predictions, the whole Timewave Zero, I Ching thing.

I know....and Wagner was a rabid anti semite but he wrote some cool music. None are perfect.  ;)

I haven't called any show since that GabCast. 😛

We need another quality show to listen to. Heather and Hoagie just aren't cutting it. Can we expect any new Dark City in the NEAR future?  ???

Mckenna was fun to listen to, but some of his ideas were about as scientific as the reverse speech guy David Oates'.

I didn't say they were scientific, I said they were interesting. It's mostly speculation about that far back, anyway.

That is exactly what I believe. I am not kidding.

Edit- Given that there's a huge difference between tobacco and cigarettes. I love tobacco but hate cigarettes. They make me want to puke.

Wolfman's trying to say that sunlight stimulates the pituitary gland through the eyes, not produces vitamin D.  ::)

Through the skin vitamin D production is stimulated by sunlight:
