Regardless of what Mr. Maxwell supposedly did to this guy, all of which sounds like complete hogwash, it doesn't excuse hiking a mans intellectual property and life's work.

I read the other side of the story on a site that Pine claims 'stole' his work. Their side of it, was Pine is in a nutshell, a freeloader and managed to extract funds without any assurance he would pay it back. He was given the benefit of the doubt until the person concerned was confronted by his father who wanted to know what the hell he was doing with his money. I think he pretty much accepted he was naive and a bit in awe of Pine and therefore deemed him trustworthy. Pine exploited this and left the lad (I think he was in his mid 20's) nearly high and dry. The lad had no real option but to secure any assets he could. He claimed to have lost many thousends of dollars to Pine. One such asset was the website name.
