Wow, that's a blast from the past.  That brings back some childhood memories for sure. "What will they think of next?"

Absolutely awesome - thank you for posting this. I met him in 2006. He was the nicest and most down to Earth of all the astronauts I have met.

Western actor Clint Walker has died at the age of 90.

Awwww, sorry to hear that.  Of late, I heard him as a guest/caller on Mark Levin's radio show.  He didn't talk politics usually as Mark wanted to hear more about his Hollywood days and his Christian faith.  I guess since he liked Mark though, he was very much a man of the right.

Little known fact is he almost permanently left this world in 1971 when a ski pole pierced his heart in a skiing accident.  How they managed to save and revive him is the stuff of miracles.

Cecil B. DeMille discovered him and gave him his first big break on The Ten Commandments where he was cast as the captain of the pharoah's guard. Cheyenne soon followed. He was also very good in the Dirty Dozen.  RIP, Clint.

When I was around 15, I got the autograph of Toni Tennille and a look down her top as she sat in the seats after a Dodgers baseball game.

And?! Did love keep them together?

I was reading about a year ago she and The Captain were split up and filing for divorce.

Dwight Clark, 61, lost his battle with ALS.  I will never forget "The Catch" nor those glory years the Niners reigned.  RIP.

Actually, that was so that Daryl (or was it Dennis) Dragon could get healthcare assistance subsidized because he was a mess.

LOL.  I'll bet that will be fascinating to watch.  ::)

They’re also allowing the participants to wear anything during the evening gown competition.

They say it is now an opportunity for women to show the depth of their character rather than their external looks.  When a truly ugly woman wins, I’ll believe it. I’d even accept a normal looking woman.

I can't wait to see the ratings.

This one somehow got by me.

Randy Scruggs, 64, died on April 17 after a brief illness.  He formed a band with his father, Earl Scruggs, in the 1970's called the Earl Scruggs Revue.  He was a huge presence on the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's series of Will the Circle Be Unbroken albums.  Father Earl died 6 years ago at the age of 88.  RIP

If they are not going to have a swimsuit competition the least they can do is to replace it with a parallel parking competition.

They made a lot of money.  so they divorced so that she could hang onto the fortune and the taxpayers could foot the bill?
