Random Topics / Re: fuck open lines
July 10, 2011, 10:46:23 PM
I always get the feeling George tries to avoid open line calls cause he has no idea how to respond to or answer questions. Mainly because he doesn't know what he's talking about. He either says "wow" or "isn't that something". Whether they ask him a question or tell him a story, he'll never have anything to say about it.

Maybe Art just doesn't care anymore

I'm done. Art is gone, C2C is getting worse by the day, and I just can't take it anymore. There is nothing redeemable about these shows or worth listening to. C2C is for middle-aged women now.

It's over fellas. Art isn't coming back. He doesn't care anymore.

I think we need to move on and just let it go. Art is enjoying the rest of his life with his new family and the C2C fans are not apart of that.

This can stay in hosts cause she completely takes over the show when she's on. Sometimes even brings her own guests to interview.

I always felt something shady happened with Ramona. She dies and then Art is suddenly with some Philippine girl. I dunno, after that whole situation I lost a lot of admiration for Art Bell cause it just felt so suspicious, and it didn't help that a lot of his recent shows were spent talking about Political things and almost talking down to anyone that disagreed. I didn't need to hear someone put me down for thinking Global Warming is a lie.

I'm not saying that Art killed his wife, but you know...

Tonight, three separate guests discuss various health & medical issues. In the second hour, Dr. Leonard Coldwell (email) talks about heart disease, cancer cures, and how stress & anxiety contribute to medical problems. Ann Louise Gittleman, a weight loss/detox expert, appears in the third hour, with tips on how to eliminate toxins from your system. In the last hour, Jon Gabriel shares the mind-body connection he discovered that helped him to lose over 220 pounds.

awesome, just what I wanted to hear about on Coast to Coast AM...

can't believe how much this show has changed.

This is ABSOLUTELY the worst Coast show I've ever heard. This is a Sunday morning infomercial goddamn it. Pardon my French, but fuck this show. This is my breaking point. I could hear this same garbage on TV right now if I flipped around to some infomercials.

What was the date of the Area 51 caller? I'd like to listen to the whole show. Does anyone have it?

George is lively tonight. I've been chuckling at his oddball comments. For instance:

Guest: I want to swim with whales

George: I wouldn't do that.

Guest: Why not? I love seeing whales on the beach I can't imagine how exciting it would be to swim with them.

George: Look what happened to Jonah

It was right before the break at the top of the hour (4:00 am Eastern)

YES

Which one of you guys called in and said that there was a quantum shift because of a murder...the murder of Coast to Coast AM thanks to George Noory taking the show from Art Bell?

HAHAHAHA! BRILLIANT!

You tied it in so well. Major props.

;D

I think STARFIRE is chewing gum too. Here's the transcript (as I understand it) if anyone is interested:

Ann Streiber and Starfire went into the bathroom while Whitley was chilling out watching the door. Then another woman who had never entered walked out from the bathroom. She came from their collective consciousness. This is proven by Whitley seeing an article in a newspaper and then reading it again weeks later.

This shit is so dumb it's funny. This is one time I'd love to hear Noory host. He'd be really in to these two women in the bathroom together with a mystery person for the reach-around

I always get the feeling George trys to avoid open line calls cause he has no idea how to respond to or answer questions. Mainly because he doesn't know what he's talking about. He either says "wow" or "isn't that something".  But anyway, that song was an attempt to kill time. He chainsawed it through the show and man was it bad.

I take that back. Wow.

As far as bad websites that look to be from 1997 (which is almost a pre-requite to get on the show), I think this takes the cake. I am not sure about the quality of the guest as I haven't heard her before, but that website is not a good sign.

I've always liked "Listening to Coast to Coast". Anybody else want to come out of the closet?

Qualye is so full of shit. He never goes in-depth because he has zero proof of anything. The dude just bounces around in some schizo rage with absolutely no flow. Tao is totally right you could have ended that interview at any time randomly and it would have been just as coherent. Anytime he's challenged he'll just bring up a quote or section from the bible and make a bizarre parable to the comment at hand. I was about cheering when that caller blasted him, but then George in his own smarmy way tried to make the caller look like a doofus. My lip curled up for the rest of the show.

I'll have to listen to that Ian interview with him. I listened to the apology and it sucks Ian had to lower himself like that. I didn't feel it was genuine though, I definitely agree he was forced into that. It pisses me off greatly.

I love when Hoagland does this. And George will always respond 'yes', 'of course' or 'absolutely' when Noory has no practical/plausible way of knowing what is being referred to. I'd have a lot more respect for Noory if he would simply say I'm not familiar with <fill in the blank>, tell us a little bit about that.

But Noory won't do that. He's busy with his coloring book and sippy cup.

I'm still giggling over this  ;D

I find George Knapp boring. There, I said it. The man is like a librarian.

I missed this last night.

Any place I can download coast episodes or stream them? For free I mean.

I myself don't like crapping on Noory all the time, but he's bad. Occasionally I'll hear a show, like the JFK shows, where he's pasable, and I'll give him credit for those. 98% of the time he's either going through the motions, not paying attention, or slobbering all over the guest. There's never been a Noory program where he's taken it to the guest and asked actual questions...well, ONE time I think he called out Sylvia Brown, and I don't think it was to her face either.

Paranormal - Conspiracy - UFOs - Etc. / Jason 'The Horse'
December 17, 2010, 01:52:46 AM
This Saturday on Coast to Coast AM with Ian Punnett:
Quote
Jason is a human who believes he is really a horse who is living in a human body. Born in 1966, he was the youngest of six children. In 1976, he and his parents moved to the mountains of northern Georgia. After his father died in 1985, Jason and his mother moved to Miami. After she died in 1997, he moved to Alaska. Jason has worked with a local shamanic practitioner who has relayed messages from the spirits of his equine people to him. He has contacted them directly as well, but he found it very difficult. They also contacted Jason unexpectedly on one occasion--they literally "broke in" on his thoughts.

Has this idiot ever been on before?

Linda Moulton Howe isn't a guest but a replacement host for George. I have no idea why he's there when she comes on, because every time she shows up her mouth doesn't close the entire show unless she's interviewing another guest she brought on. I think she's nitwit and completely full of crap.

First hour is about angels tonight.  ::)

Coast is so exhausting anymore. That guy last night was so full of crap, and George's softball queestions make me rage. A radio host is supposed to host the show not sit by and say "yeah" "hmmm". How about some actual question? The worst is when he just nods all show until making a joke that only he laughs at.

I cringe when women call in. This pervert was even flirting with that 80 year old woman last night asking her to sing. My god I hate you Mr. Mustache.
