Listening to Heather’s meltdown last night.

She totally has it in her power to get help, it has been clear for at least a year that she needs professional help with her grief problems. But she doesn’t because it’s all she has left. If she rids herself of the grief she loses her last (in her mind) connection to Art.

She doesn’t want help, she displays her grief like a war medal, and that’s totally why it is ok for us to listen and comment on it.

Her broken ankle was a great metaphor for her grief last summer. If she had allowed herself to get help and didn’t act like a fucking diva it would have been solved. Instead she sat on her arse feeling sorry for herself and screaming at hospital staff so she didn’t get help.

Because this is all about her and not anyone else.

Tonight’s show is absolutely the reason we can sit here and talk about how fucked up she is because she displays her fuckedupness because it’s how she gets affection and attention.

I am always reminded of the phrase involving Piss and Wind when I try and work out why Metron is unable to call in. He has a good line in shouty abusive text, but seems to be unable to complement it with a good live conversation. I’m not being mean I just think if he can’t back it up he shouldn’t be showing up at the preparty waving his wang quite so much.

I really enjoyed speaking with Azz, he’s an intelligent chap and he’s currently within my friend sphere. I know he has been a bit of a cunt, but we all are at times. There are a few individuals I would not have a pint with (none of BGs inmates, I hasten to add - i would have a pint of BabyCham with any of you fuckers) but I don’t really waste my time disliking and actively hating people, but I do waver with Metron between indifference and dislike which is a shame as I had enjoyed earlier exchanges I had had with him, but then he entered batshit cray cray territory in many many ways.

Maybe dislike is too strong, curiosity is closer. Like looking at a rotten apple to see if the maggots are there. I’d love to hear Metron speak to someone to see if I could hear the spittle fly from his mouth during his rants the way I imagine it.

Oh well, I doubt it will happen. No cojones on it.
