i heard from him a couple days ago.  he's away dealing with family/life type stuff, but he's fine and will return.
I hope all is well.  I miss his recaps.  I had thought he might have been scouted here by Premiere, signed, and placed on contract for writing the nightly recaps on the Coast website.

And the winner is... the first to fall asleep.

Look on the optimitic side of this.  How many people have been kept off over-prescribed medication and kept big pharma from raking in more mone
money?  Would you like to fall asleep to the sound of George or the sound of an Ian snort?

the loser of the game is labeled as Noory calls, a "wacko" or "sicko"
or if you quit the game you are labeled a "hater" :P
Epic fun!  However, I like to play cards.

You have that right!

The suck thread seems in many ways to be the default thread of the forum and I think that may be why it sometimes goes into other topics.  A lot of sites have a "War Room" where OT or more controversial things can be discussed.  I hope this happens -- as opposed to all political discussion being banned.  I hate those forums where everyone must always be nice to everyone else and the slightest thing that might possibly offend any entity in any universe is prohibited.  (These forums are usually all female and they also suck.)

Gasp! I am offended!

Remember Ms. Coastgab manners  and say Thank you for not sucking.
And as another polite gesture, Please, stop all the sucking. It is very important to a cordial forum to remember our etiquette.

Keep your fingers on the correct keys and do not slobber and spit on the screen of your computer, Ipad, or Iphone or equivalent when engaged in
uproarious laughter.

I loved this show!  And the picture of George with a gal on each arm, priceless.  Look at the colors, the color coordination is astounding.

Also, to be at Amazon soon, "The Ouija Board Bedside Companion, Dozens of Stories and Exercises To Utilize Your Planchette When Your Spririt Guide Tells You No."  I am gathering stories and researching for publication.  Send those stories to www.ouijagoo.com

George, if you are generous, you can write the forward.

Noory talking about a surprise at the end of the show tonight -
its probably his usual thing for St. Patrick's Day, some past guest sings an Irish song like "ole Danny Boy"
Hopefully Noory himself won't sing again... :o
You predicted right, it was Christian Wilde singing "ole Danny Boy".
I am, however, disappointed. (Trout-Lip Pout depiction)
I wanted to hear George's rendition.

The c2c schedule posted for next week indicates Noory is taking off yet another Friday with George Knapp filling in a week from tonight.
Noory seems to be taking off one or two Fridays a month since the new year - wonder what is behind that?  8)

No surprises here.  He always or almost always is off the Friday before the week preceeding the first Sunday of the month.  Check your calendar and you will see.  He will be working the first Sunday in April which is April Fool's Day.  Will you fool us George, and let Richard Hoagland host that show that you promised him years ago that he could host?  Fans have been waiting in years on the edge of their seat for that night.

In response to George's Sound FX, it just flows that this Friday night that the topic for the Open Lines is Caller's Sound Affects.  I predict that you will or would here the following:

1.  Any Coast Insider, Face book CoasttoCoast am Poster, and any new listener. (Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!)

2.  Any Widowed single cat woman over sixty-five.  (Who-Hooo!)

3.  Any Widowed single cat woman over seventy with new Age music in the background, burning incense and rubbing the stomach of an obese angel figurine with over twelve cats as she calls in to praise and worship George. (Extended Wolf-Whistle)

4.  Any caller who has been triple-screened, on hold for over two hours,  and George breaks into the song, "Honey" by Bobby Goldsburg. (Click!!!!)

5.  Any hater that makes it through the orientation by the call-screener.. (A sucking sound like piglets on a boar sow.)

All of these sound affects will be recorded on a new  CD or for download and referred to Another Friday night with George Noory.  (All proceeds will be donated to the recall Barbara Simpson for relief host fund.)

He prefers Dean Martin to Frank Sinatra and the Drifters to the Platters?

(To those who do not know those are singers from the forties, fifties and sixties, grandma told me so.)

Please, just shoot it and take it out of its misery.

This is perplexing to me.  Steven Bassett on February 23, 2012, made an appearance on Coast for The Disclosure Petition II - The Rockefeller Initiative concerning ufology disclosure.  The petition requires a mere 25,000 signatures to be acknowledged and responded to by the White House.  It would seem with the alleged vastness of the Coast audience that getting that many signatures would have been accomplished within a week.

The Coast website is keeping a tally on how many signatures remain needed.  The last posting on the website was that 20,000 signatures were still needed.   That was just a couple of days ago.  Either the Coast audience is not proactive, does not want to put personal information on a White House website, or the power of the impact of the show has waned or is not as significance as we are led to believe.  25,000 signatures should have been hit out of the park within a week, if that were true.

Truly, I want Mr. Bassett to obtain the 25,000 signatures, but it needs a nudge.  Time is short and disclosure remains illusive.

The worst one I have heard, it was at a UFO Conference:

"I am an alien, you are an attractive hybrid.  Can I beam you up and show you my mothership?"

From my observation point, the soul with this pick-up line was not successful and left alone.

Another alternative to the sage advise of Ms. Hilton or Ms. Lohan is the dynamic duo on Friday night the Producer and the host.

"We have a texxxt question from the Wildcard Line by a Mr. Rickie Santorium, George.?"

It is it read aloud:  "George what is your opinion on contraception, Rush Limbaugh, and that alleged slut attorney from Georgetown?"

There is banter back and forth. . George:  "I don't like to talk about my personal life on the air. . what do you think Producer?"

More laughs and exchanges . .

Yep. I love Coast's editorial commentary, enough to rival Rush these days.
#256
I used to listen to Rush daily, but have not done so in months.  I came across this headline today and thought it was insightful:

Radio stations drop Rush Limbaugh; Clear Channel syndicator defends host in Sandra Fluke 'slut' controversy.

Probably twenty advertisers have dropped Rush including Pro-Flowers, Sears, and many others.  Now the radio stations are dropping his program.  It just illustrates that even the King of Daytime can misstep and fall. . flat.

Ah, C'mon FR'ER.  You can just pretend like it is actually Art Bell himself interviewing you.  Or, perhaps MV could do his best Art Bell imitation.  Just think it would be like you being interviewed by Art on his own podcast.

Maybe I'm a Debbie downer but I think the jury is sill out on the asteroid but will say that I'll rely on different sources than Noory to tell me where it hits .. Wonder how that contract negotiation went? 2012 or...18?
The contract negotiations may be contingent, with a clause written in:  In the event that the Mayan calander ends on December 21, 2012, all contract extensions are null and void.  However if the host shall not be hit by a solar flair or other act of the Mayan Gods, the contract shall be extended until December 31, 2012, 11:59 p.m, Pacific Time in the City of Angels.  In the event an Astroid predicted by Mr. Noory on March 4, 2012 to hit the earth makes a deep impact and the tsunami from the hit rises and engulfs the Premiere Radio studios, he is just shit out of luck!  Then, this contract shall be waterlogged, unreadable, and all terms and conditions prior entered into are unenforceable.

I've always thought Coast to Coast is basically a carnival sideshow.  Lots of doom and gloom scenarios and nutball conspiracy theories. It definitely goes hard-right when Alex Jones is on.  A couple of nights ago Jones suggested Andrew Breitbart's death might be part of some conspiracy and suggested we keep a close eye on Limbaugh, Beck, Drudge and others.   Right.  Some vast left-wing conspiracy is out to knock off radio talk show hosts?  Breitbart died.  People of all ages do this.  What evidence did Jones have that Breitbart died of anything but natural causes?  If he had any, he didn't mention it.  This show has been a lunatic fringe sideshow for years.  I would really hate to be in the same room with the people who actually believe the nonsense they hear on this show.
You are on the same forum.  I believe!!!!!  Now, do you believe that I believe?

YESSSSSS!!

May I make a show suggestion when Mr. Fort Rock appears?  A special guest cameo appearance should be reserved for "the Portland Source" whoever they may be.
This will indead put MV on the cutting edge of breaking news in the Coast to Coast genre.

George can sing the bumpers.  I come to that conclusion after watching his first music video at the Ritz Carlton on UTube.
It can be analogized to heavenly celestrial harmony, the voice of an angel.  Of course, it has to be a male angel.

Red Eye is being dumbed down for mass consumption. McIntyre's departure totally altered the show, it's become an entirely different entity. The dumber it gets, the more affiliates they'll acquire. Why it's still called Red Eye is beyond me...it's Midnight Trucking retardation all the way.
Agreed.  Doug McIntyre gave a sophisticated flair to all-night talk.  Now, it will be "Breaker, Breaker"  when they take open line calls, 10-4 when agreed, and the CB-radio will make a comeback.  Notice the sychronicity between CC-radio or C Craine radio and CB-radio.  George taught me that.
It's the good ole redneck trucker manfolk and that thar radio station.

C'mon give him a break. It is clear (channel) he is auditioning for Toast to Toast A.M. or if  he does not make it there, then he will surely start his own morning program, The Brew.

As bad as Jorch is, I'm rather bummed that no local affiliate of mine features C2C any more.  :(  No Ian or Knapp.

I guess that this is indicative of how badly ratings have been falling.  I wonder how many stations have stopped airing the show.
I'm concerned.  I googled and tried to find out how many affiliates that this impacts, but I am not sure.  It is some of the bigger, markets including Albuquerque, that I read got bumped.   If I remember right, that is where George had a couple of meet and greets and he referred to that one as one of the major affiliates.

I realize that business climates change and this bumping of Coast is due to the merger of Citadel and Cumulus in the biz., but I really wish that there were some more in depth information on this.

Linda Moulton Howe made me feel like the old Art Bell days last night .. Great paranormal topic, just overall great. Really. Up until death ray talk and false flags .... Huh? Ian tonight. That is ok with me
Oh, CRAPS, no George Noory hosting today!  I'll take bets, however, that he is at a roulette table or in some casino lounge singing.  The lounge is one of those where everyone has one of those insect candles lit, and you will only be able to see the white of his jumpsuit.  Fringe is back in for the spring season!

Are you trying to get banned again? They have medications that will solve most of your issues you know.
Just don't glue his lips with Superglue like Art did.  A good butt injection can work just fine, however, with potent medicaitons.

Yes this is the original Fort Rock of the Coast Gab Universe. I've been monitoring responses to the "Art Bell" "Posting" here. For the first time ever Michael V. and I agree on something, VERY DEEP scepticism that it's the real Art Bell. Where's the origin of my scepticism? "KNYE@KNYE.COM"! Check their website, they're still a Coast To Coast AM Affiliate, right? Sounds like a Lisa Lyon trick to me for sure! The swillmeisters of Coast want you to believe it's Art, they would have every reason why! Is the real Art planning a little surprise? Could be! Scorpion Armies may be forming in the "Desert Of The Sea". Perhaps Snoory WANTS a little bit of a down reaction from us. Art may be preparing to be the General Of The Scorpion Army! And remember, "KNYE@KNYE.COM, was the email address I used to contact Karen, the new/present owner of KNYE, at least a year ago for my reports right here at Coast Gab. Keep the Vigilant Eye, the All Watchful Eye for the least expected outcome!
Missed ya!  Good Times!
