Richard, you’re not hitting up girls for shoe sizes now, are you?  Good lord. I thought we had a private chat about this? It’s a bit  on the creepy side.

;)

Wheres White Crow? Did he come in here to defend himself yet?

We all know the 'tidepods's thing is inane. I suppose we should give Dave some credit for rolling with it. It's fucking stupid.

;)

To be honest, I still don’t quite get where “Roswells” came from.

It’s always something. There’s a guy who recently died, who hosted an afternoon show on local talk radio for years. Every day, just about every caller wished him a happy birthday. I thought it was old, but for years, almost every caller did it.

Learned something there, thanks.

I'm a minor fan of Celestial Seasonings teas - several varieties.

I do love tea. Big fan of Chai, Thai tea, Rooibos, Sleepy Time...

Sanka?

Folgers instant decaf?

Decaf is supposedly worse for you than caffeinated coffee.. more acidic, I think. I do drink it, but like having other options. Caffix is one, and there are some others.

Even if you don't have an "open mind" on some issue if you only listen to the echo chamber you won't be able to argue your position as well because you don't know how other people are thinking, framing the issue, reporting on the issue, etc. And, every so often, you might find a subject, fact, or position that you haven't thought of interesting o maybe change an opinion. But it is important to know the enemy, so I still read and listen to sources of which I don't agree.

That’s part of why I’ve turned Rush on, on occasion, though it usually pains me to do so.  :P And Beck. I just don’t only listen to one, or only listen to the other. I prefer neutral news sources if possible, discredit obvious fake news sites, and try to dig out the truth.

As I’ve previoudly  said, I did spend several years watching only Fox News. At some point, it was so obviously biased, that instead of watching Hannity and O’Reilly, I switched to MSNBC.. and again, same deal. Keith Olberman was so fucking biased, I couldn’t watch.  I don’t care if you have your opinions, or whatever. However, it’s too much to me like someone shoving their religion down my throat..  something I abhor. Now, I should have known better when I started watching them.. it’s why I don't watch Rachel Maddow, or really any of the evening non-news programs these stations offer. Just give me the news. Not your slanted take on it. People are so over the top these days.JMO.

Honestly, part of why Id prefer Dave not do shows about politics is that I listen to him so I can get away from that.

Can you cite me a quotation of AJ saying the things you claim he does or are you just Baaaing because you heard some other sheep doing that? :D

Again, you know nothing about me. I used to listen to Hannity, Jones, O’Reilly.. every night. Every night. Hell, I called in. They got old. So have I. I belonged to a flock of sheep once. Not gonna make that mistake again.

** This goes for liberal shows as well. I don’t listen, because it’s all the same. I have a brain. I’ll let the facts speak for themselves.. not let some dude decipher the shit for me like it’s gold, and Im grateful to get his precious nuggets. It’s why I don’t go to church. No man behind a podium is going to translate something for me that I can read for myself.

It’s “funner” to attack, I guess. This place makes GLP look inviting some days. Liberace wouldn’t be welcome, though. They seem to have a deep disgust for anything that isn’t white, male, and straight. (Or die-hard Republican). But damn, if you’ve got a story about how you schtooped your dog, you’re the best thing since sliced bread! :P I go for a laugh on occasion.

Nobody likes censorship, but sometimes people should have their typing finger(s) caught in a blender. I find that often the case here, as well. ;)  :-*

I just listened to last night's show and that ouija board story got me thinking.  Will we ever get to hear Art's ouija board story now that he's gone?  Did he ever tell it to anyone else or write it down?  Is it in his will to release it?

Wanna bet Heather knows? Maybe that will be her Halloween show.  ::)

I bet there were people like you who said the same thing about those who questioned the official story of the JFK assassination or any official story that later was proven to be 100% bullshit. I know you and others here think this stance makes you appear noble. It doesn't...except to other idiots who also refuse to think for themselves.  ;)

Actually, I do believe Oswald did not fire the fatal shot. You might find it amusing to know that I have spent some sleepless nights as a teen utterly down the rabbit hole with this. Read so much material on the subject, that I got a little nutty about it. One of my very first big “novels” as a kid was the book the Warren commission came out with. Poured over my grandma’s copy many times, and now I’m a big girl with my own copy. It’s one of my favorite conspiracies.

I just dont get sucked into the ones people like Alex Jones think it’s funny to spread.

I’m a member of GLP for well over a decade now. Love conspiracies. But don’t tell me somebullshit about how there’s a fake school, with fake kids, that got fake shot.

Oh, and don’t be a dick who thinks the Holocaust didn’t happen, either.

THEN we’re good. ;)

**How ‘bout we all just believe whatever the fuck we want?  If you don’t believe Sandy Hook or the Holocaust really happened, that’s your deal. But don’t be a dick about it. Roll those beautiful eyes at me all you want, boy.

Since neither of our English pedants has weighted in, I'll give it a shot:  neither Pall Mall nor Pell Mell are right.  The vowel used in the pronunciation of London's Pall Mall (as well as the Mall) is the a in pal.  The commercial actors saying "pell mell" are likely a hypercorrection due to unfamiliarity.

My parents just smoked Camels. Much easier to pronounce. LOL

You have an open but also reasoning nature, this must be a great comfort to your subjects.

Very nice to hear what a good experience you had with your late father.

Peace on you. :)
