Lots of good local places are closing here also due to real estate prices and the demand for housing like condos and apartments. It sucks.

Hard to believe that two mega restaurateurs with the last name of Pappas weren't related but I guess it is so.  Louis Pappas and his Greek restaurants were strictly located in Florida.  His kids took over the business after Louis and his wife (known as Mama) died and they have tried to turn it into a big catering business but I wonder, their website won't load, has the place gone belly up?  I would have loved to have eaten one of their signature Greek salads.  It was a Greek salad served over a giant mound of potato salad.

I'm surprised also there appears to be no connection. But both being Greek and having same name and going into the restaurant business seems a bit too suspicious to have some family connection somewhere down the generations....
