Another entry for your permanent record. I wonder is teachers still threaten kids with this?

Glad to hear I've still got the touch.

I usually step in it at least once a week. Just recognizing a fellow misanthrope

This is an odd thing to say, particularly considering that I spent my twenties and thirties huddled up in jungle huts and mountain caves with traditional indigenous psychedelic shamans, but I'm just very little interested in hearing about these things, and cosmic consciousness and all that junk. It's like hearing someone being interviewed about gardening or sex. If your listening to, or talking about it, you're not doing it. Some subjects are just not suited to voyeurism imho.

Having said this, I can't wait to hear Art interview Graham Hancock. Because it's Art. He's back!

Fucked up comment of the month

Anyone know if theres an rss feed of the archives so it can be subscribed to as a podcast? The way Art's archive feed is formatted right now can't be added as a podcast in iTunes or any other podcast client.

Have been looking for that myself. If you find anything out about RSS feed post it here, please.

I suggest you read Martin's classic book on exorcism, Hostage To The Devil.  Redacted and Art were exactly right. A perfectly possessed person is a person who gives himself/herself over completely to demonic influence.  They want the possession and are completely in accord with the demon.
Sure, but it goes much deeper than that. The distinction pivots on what you call "demonic", which is where I think you and Art and Redacted are missing part of the point. Demonic possession can take the form of a businessman that really has lost his soul to his job. In its train, his interactions become cold, materialistic, and cut off from the light. Wish Father Martin was around to clarify this. I am almost sure he made this point in an interview with Art. I have not read his book, so I cant comment.

Perfect Possession....

REdacted, I think the idea of perfect possession is a little different than what you and Art discussed last night. If I recall correctly, the idea is that people that are perfectly possessed have no clue that they are affected, and neither do people that see them walking down the street. As I understand it, and I may be wrong, perfect possession occurs when one surrenders themselves to an activity to the point that they are driven solely by said activity. There is certainly a dark component to it , but not overtly so. The "activity" could be anything, but it qualifies as a possession because it cuts the connection between the affected person and real life. In other words, it limits the person to merely earthly things. I would have to re-listen to Father Martins' interview about this again to be sure, its been at least a decade, but it stuck with me, as it obviously did you.
Some might say that Art Bell fanatics are perfectly possessed :) Kidding, sort of...

Crap. Well, I love chit chatting on my app as well. I hope it gets fixed and fixed soon! Who at Darkmatter do we have to let know its broken?

I honestly think they know. Keith Rowland is most likely on top of it, but it may be beyond his control if its external in nature.

If (Redacted) did so well with little experience, why is sNoory so bad with years of experience?

You cant learn intelligence. Redacted has it, Dave was in the long line for pizza rolls and missed out.

Question for the group or MV or his sycophants:  Can you stream the Gabcast via TuneIn.com?

Is this meant to be overtly hostile, or just a poor choice of words? If it's the former, the best way to listen is in a bath tub with a 1947 vintage radio on your lap.

Hope you get the resolution you seek.
Lots of people had issues with SiriusXM when Art was on there. I had no problems with SiriusXM.
What I've come to realize is that there will always be people, some to know fault of their own, who have issues with internet/computer related things.
It is the nature of the beast.

I will be listening via shortwave, so it's a non issue for me. Wanted to make others aware, and more importantly, it's not MY issue, it's systemic.

I use the external link(s) to listen. I have had zero issues with that listening option.
I've never really liked pop-out players or players embedded within websites.
But that's just personal preference  :P

or

http://live.darkmatterdigitalnetwork.com/darkmatter.mp3

While you may have zero issues, I have had many. It's not me, my equipment, or my internet connection, or mode of listening. Only reason I made this public so others would chime in so if there is a issue, I trust that Keith will hear about it here. I am reasonably sure he is already aware.

Art, Here's something to think about ... as you are getting closer to going "live" with the new show your Facebook page is/will be a huge target for spammers and other mal-content types who will want to litter your page up with cyber graffiti and worse.  There's a possibility your comment threads will become clogged with a boat load of crap postings.  Might want to think of a strategy to counter this.  Just thinking out loud ...

A possible course would be to avoid the devil net entirely and rely on his radio show for comms

I just checked my Facebook Messenger conversations with Art and everyone of his comments to me says "This message has been temporarily removed because the sender's account requires verification, or it was identified as abusive."

To me that seems as if multiple "people" must have flagged him as an imposter or flagged him as abusive. For Facebook to remove him they must have received a lot of "complaints" meaning a targeted attack.

its things like this that make me totally distrust intenet assisted communications.

It is a fair question. And one that can't be answered except with opinion. My opinion is that it would be extremely difficult to work with someone that, by most appearances, obfuscates, distorts facts, and explains differing thought as some form of conspiracy.

Nicely put.

(And this post isn't direct at eddie dean, just everyone in general.)  Why and how is everyone an expert on how difficult a person RCH is to work with personally??  All of this talk seems like conjecture to me.  How anyone can form an intelligent opinion without personally knowing and working with someone is a mystery to me.

Quote from new C2C Science Advisor Robert Zimmerman

"A minor note of interest: Coast to Coast has decided to name me their official science adviser. This means they will be giving me more air time to talk about space, astronomy, and other issues relating to science. Should be lots of fun.

And I must say it, for every minute I am on the air talking about the really exciting discoveries in real science, it will be one less minute they can waste talking about silly stuff like UFOs and ancient civilizations on the far side of the Moon. Without doubt this can only be a gain, for them, their audience, and society in general."

Wonder how he feels about turmeric?
