Midnight In The Desert

Not only is Late Night in the Midlands unknown by most, it uses an ID that most people, if Bellgab is a good reference, can’t get right. It’s LNM, but most people, including Heather, say LMN.  How are people going to find the show if they’re typing in lmnradionetwork.com?

They didn't even buy the most obvious mistyping domain. Anyone worth their salt would have lmnradionetwork.com redirect*

*Which they will, once Heather and Carl read these posts.

Sammi

The LNM website looks very 2004.

When asked what he things of all the silliness going on, he could only muster the following 2 words.

Since you're one of us, I can only say the following:

This forum should never be taken seriously.  (It can, and will be, used against you).
This forum is best enjoyed when slap happy or sporting a really nice buzz.

Beyond that, you're pretty much on your own.  It is what it is.

You grow more attractive by the hour.

A million plus listeners but can only raise $330 to stay on air..... If you had a million listeners for 1 show, you should easily have enough ad revenue.. Bc like I said.. There are CW shows that get well under a million views.. And most of cable television is a few hundred thousand viewers, if that.

Here you go
You did a good interview, thanks for posting this... I think you handled it with tact.

I like her too- She seems 'real'. The penny story was awesome but tbh the whole thing makes me a bit sad. So far this has been the best 'Art' remembrance program yet- Even though I wanted to hear more about Heather, I can understand why you didnt push too hard and i'm really pleased to have listened to this.

You don't need the evidence. To paraphrase Supreme Court justice Potter Stewart, "we know bullshit when we see it."

Can anyone help out Queef?

Hoo, boy. Brig? MV?

Keef needs the receipts.

Also, I love how Keith has adopted the middle name mantra.

Thanks, username. Listening now.

then you could set up a relay for bellgabbers to listen to , which would inflate vara's network numbers by exactly 1 instead of all the rabid bellgabbers connecting directly to vara's network.
just sayin.

No clue what setting up a relay is or how to.

Friday

I'll set a timer on TuneIn to record it. Just in case.

heh heh

;) ;)
I hope Keith knows whats up. LOL

By the By...  Karen said she had to learn radio all on her own. Reading manuals, and listening to other shows to figure out how to do it.   She and Art became good friends.   Meanwhile, years later, Heather makes nice on a forum, meets in person, and gets a show.  Little experience, and knows pretty much only how to speak into a mic. Now she's "the legacy".  :P

Oh, that Art.  Tsk Tsk.

I'm not a big fan of oddball streaming services or needing to go to a station's websites, either.

Here's a handy list I keep:
DMDN

http://38.135.36.123:10133/stream.xspf

UPRN Direct

LMNR

End of Days Radio

Minifang WR 250 Sunday Evening Rock

Radio Caroline:

Still would love to find them for KCOR and KGRA.

Nice list. Thanks! :D

She knows how to speak radio.

Also, jesus christ. I just realized Michael piped in Jugsaw's "In Nye" to the tail end of the youtube video, which raises it several points in my book.

Damn!  Every time you write LNM my slow brain thinks it's LMH.

Hope you're having a great morning, Kolchak!

"scaring the hell out of her (Ayrin) again..."

Wonder if Airyn will take her real name Irene back. The fact that Art made her change it never sat well with me.

bellNwhistle

Tee Hee - Gravity Sucks got in a lot of questions last night. ;)

Good question!

Juan

Didn’t she pronounce Airyn as Irene, but Art reading it in email saw it as Air-ryn.

I am no archivist but I did happen to run into this recently.  You are in good company, or at least not in bad company.
