I just read the interview that Noory had with DailySingle.com.  What is that site?  They present it on the Coast to Coast website as a new online magazine.  It appears to me to be single website when your profile is just presented as an interview and a magazine cover.

What is the real story?

I have been looking at the number of members on line, and find this mysterious, _______, Hidden.

How do you become one of. . . The Hidden?

Who are these lurkers?  How do they lurk?  Why Do the Lurk?  What do they want by Lurking? And, most titilating where do they lie?

I find it sort of fringy.  Maybe the Admin can fill in on this.  I did not know where to address this.

If you don't know who the Hidden, are you may speculate.  Could it be folks in holes in the ground, afraid to come out?  i.e. in the memory of Saddam.  In that case, it could be someone getting into character for their new up-coming starring role.

It's coming clear: Noory hasn't just been incompetent - he's hated the format. It explains it all. The reason he's sounded distracted, repeats questions, ignores guests and repeats their answers, is because he hates the show that Art Bell turned over to him.

This was always his plan: establish himself, ride it out, make it his own. And then once he's well in the saddle, change it to a "good neighbor show" where they exchange remedies for bunions and send in recipes for chocolate salty balls. He'll have a "hello to the shut-in" segment, requests for "concentrated positive thinking", plus a half-hour every night of him singing Elvis by request. He'll have self-improvement guests, sell vitamins and push supplements and do health shows like "Is Poison Bad For You?".

And never a mention of ghosts, UFOs or Bigfoot ever again. It'll be the Merv Griffin Show for the blind. Sure there will be some loss of listeners, but they were probably just haters anyway. George will make the show's appeal more selective, and wind up with a truly loyal base of fans. All 50,000 of them.

I think the truth is not very far from this. God help us all.

You can read from my posts I am not happy today.

The Open Lines will turn into Noory request lines.  You call, he sings, click!!!

One more segment, "Painting Pictures For The Blind Listeners".. . That is good, because when I read where the show is headed, I want to poke my only eye out.

Normally, I support Coast, but let me be the devil's advocate on this one.  This weight loss thingee, is like Michele Obama telling you not to feed your child certain foods.  I don't need government meddling in my life.  It is good to make healthy choices, but I don't want it rammed down my throat.  Another example of this that comes to mind is some type of drink restiction or tax in New York City that is being proposed.  I have seen a T Shirt that reads, No thanks, I am capable of making up my own mind what I want to drink.

I don't want Coast telling me what I want to weigh.  I may be five hundred pounds and bed ridden being fed Domino's pizza that delivers to my bedside, but I don't want some show that I have relied on for years for parnormal, ufo, and edgy subjects telling me to count calories.  It just is not a good fit, even if I lose the weight.  Tell you what, for every show that they have on advocating weight loss, I will order another super supreme Domino's pizza with a desert pizza promotion and wolf it down during the first hour.  No show like that is going to influence me.

Now I will get back to the conspiratorial side of this.  All of those weigh cards that are being sent in, put up on FaceBook, texted in, and so forth are going to be turned over to the government and forwarded to Michele O' Bama.  Then, if you are not in the desirable weight category, the diet squad will be knocking on your door with a search warrant to raid your cupboards, pantries, cabinets, food cellars, refrigerators and deep freezes.  All undesirable and inappropriate foods will be confiscated.  The Coast sweep is round one and your first warning.  If you do not respond favorably, the next round will be forthcoming.  You will diet or else!!!!!!!

The Devil's Food made me post this!!!!!

I observed that we have Regular Coast, Classic Coast and now Diet Coast as of last evening.  What is next Coast One, Cherry Coast or Coast fortified with fruit flavorings?

George Noory: My hobby is my career. I don’t consider this “work” per se. When I do get my own down time sometimes on the weekends, I like to frequent places where I can sing a few songs and just enjoy myself.

Forgotten words are forgotten passages.  "When I do get my own down time sometimes on the weekends, I like to frequent places. . . . such as 1111 Sesame Street, hang out with Elmo and Big Bird. . .. where I can sing a few songs and just enjoy myself. . ..I consider it an educational experience, so important. . .

George Noory's introduction of Richard C. Hoagland last night was disgusting. I'd call it a bromance, but it's too sinister to be called that. He introduced him like it was an NBA game. "Richard. C. HOOOOAGLAND!!!!" These two have no shame.

I have not listened to the last several hours of Coast yet, so I did not hear the intro. Could it be that George considers RC a part of the winning Coast team, after all he is the Science Advisor?

I hope this is not a duplication thread, but this is for some outstanding fact or trivia that can stand on it's own about George.  It would be something that can be shared or discussed that should not be lost in the middle of a paragraph.  Why, it would be the topic sentence.

It can be good or bad trivia, whatever you desire.  Of course, my trivia is good.

Hopefully, it is factual, but you never know when the sources are the internet.  No sources are to be disclosed.

Here it goes:  George Noory only dates supermodels.

So.. Art Bell asking to stop somewhere in time.. Noory asking for a contract extension until 2018. What goes through the mind of John B Wells. ( I think perhaps he thought he'd be the main host by now)

Could it be? " Art on new show on Cumulus back with Ross Mitchell,  Noory's Somewhere In Time show and my first multi-year contract through 2018. "  All thoughts were made on the beach just below his new Hawaiin studio.

Why?  Maybe is was sent one of the hacked health supplement e-mails, ordered them and was not pleased with the product.

haha nah he's had that "blowout" hair due since japanamation came out... I think he's still into Yu-Gi-Oh or something.

It has been disclosed to me that Georgio is activated to display prominent signs of disclosure on season V of Ancient Aliens.  Actually, it has been happening since season I but this has just been confirmed.

Georgio is the model of disclosure.  Through the telepathic transmutation to his stylist alien impulses vibrate to achieve that tosseled mane.  There will be reports forthcoming on night one of Season V of the show that a craft has landed, and the inhabitants have been observed and photographed.  The inhabitants appear to share something in common with Georgio.  It is a hair thing, the aliens all have hair just like Georgio.  The aliens and Georgio share a common stylist.  Looking at Georgio all of these season visable signs of disclosure were there, we were just not sharp enough to figure it out.   Sorry, disclosure was not revealed on the White House lawn, it was on the History Channel and History Channel HD(short for head of hair).

It also has a face.  The face on the Moon, and the face on Mars.  Together they produced the Gaia child Earth.

Here is a new theory under hyper-dimensional planet production.

If you have not heard the show George did last night called Prophecy of the Popes then do yourself a favor and try to download a copy. It was absolutely one of the best topics and shows George has ever done. The validity of the subject matter makes this topic have a lot of credibility. And George as usual did an excellent job in the interview. It gives you alot to think about, yes it was that thought provoking a show last night. I think Coast fans around the world would not be dissappointed.
I am sooo happy that I am a Coast Insider.  I have that show and can listen and listen and listen again.  I will never wear it out.  It will be a Coast Classic in no time.

It is far too modest to restrict Coast and George fans to around the world.  All across the universe and through the milkyway the sounds of George's voice resonates's as the questions of the ages are asked.  To many not of this planet who know him as a mere mortal, he may be thought to be a God.  He does not disappoint.

I too partake of the Carnavora Coolade.

Been reading all of the neo-Nazi posts and rhetoric (Deacon, I deserve a Tweet-out for using your word in a post.)  What this implies is there is no need for further discussion about George sucking, of course he doesn't.  First bi-polarism, then relationships, I know I posted on that one, and now this diversion.  Folks, where do you go from here?  How about world mass extinction?  There are a lot of controversial topics on that.  I know, I heard it on Coast recently.

Somewhere in a studio in the land of Premiere, George smiled.  - In thought as the never-ending story by the haters was derailed.

Wow, this thread has morphed into Dr. Phil...but an interesting topic, it is.

There are so many layers and sub-layers to both people and relationships that this could be discussed until the cows come home.

All I can say is that this old quote perhaps says, not all, but a lot:

Men enter a relationship with a woman with the hope that she will never change.
Women enter a relationship with a man with the hope that he will change.
Both are inevitably disappointed.

I just skimmed the thread earlier, but have now gone back and reread it.  Yes, it does read like Dr. Phil with just a touch of Oprah.  I like your quotes.  I agree with the quote Women often enter a relationship with a man with the hope he will change.  I was bad on that one, but I realized that was a problem and just when I entered by current relationship was watchful.  Now, I hope my fiance' never changes.  Of course all men or women change over time, but I did not enter and stay in the relationship with that anticipation.  It must work, we became engaged yesterday.

Ah, the fixer uppers.  Look at the human condition here.  Are many not trying to fix George and make him not suck?  Both men and women posters have engaged in this project.  It has been a decade now.  A decade devoted to the rehabilitation of suckdom.  All the pages in this Definitive Compendium contain comments that any human host could adopt or not.

Just accept George.  He is as he is, no suck intended.  For those who continue on their reformation quest, many pages and posts await you.

I checked and no stations in northern CALIFORNIA were playing Coast to Coast AM tonite!

Fortunately I was able to find a station in ALABAMA that is playing coast tonite with my wi fi radio. Insane!
You are a  candidate for Coast Insider!  For only .25 cents per day you too can be part of the club. Podcasting, video chats with George and a special guest each month, are just some of the benefits of being a member.  If you purchase Coast Insider for a year, your cost per day goes down even more.  Where else can you have so much fun for so little money?  What else can you do for four hours a day for .25 cents?  Coast Insider, the best entertainment investment in these uncertain times, as Cumulus continues to replace Coast to Coast with Red Neck Radio.  (I could go on, but you get the pitch.)

Although this is an quote from an article on the Limbaugh-Hucklebee radio battle, it did make some references to Coast to Coast.  It gives some history and background as to what is happening and why Coast is being replaced in some markets.  I found it interesting and informative.

TWO DEALS REALIZED

Cumulus' plan to take on Clear Channel in the syndication market were put in motion long before the impending Limbaugh-Huckabee battle. The roots can be traced to two deals: the $1.2 billion purchase of Susquehanna Radio in 2006 and $2.4 billion acquisition of Citadel Broadcasting in 2010.
Those deals transformed Cumulus from a sleepy small- to mid-market company into a national player. Before them, the largest market in which Cumulus had a presence was ranked 125th nationally. Now, the family-run company is in seven of the top 10 U.S. radio markets.
With a big national footprint and its own network, Cumulus is now able to develop and syndicate its own content as opposed to paying to license it from competitors such as Clear Channel.
Moreover, Cumulus can now shop its content to outside radio station owners, potentially stealing market share from Clear Channel. In essence, Cumulus has gone from being a purchaser of content to a creator of one.
"We eat our own cooking here. If something works for us, it should also work for others in the industry," said Dickey, referring to Cumulus' goal to license homegrown talent to others in the industry.
The company last month announced that it was replacing "Coast-to-Coast," a show produced by Clear Channel, with Cumulus' own "Red Eye Radio" on 22 of its stations. Earlier in March, Cumulus said it was dropping "The Billy Bush Show," produced by Dial Global, for an upcoming show of its own.
Cumulus licenses Limbaugh's show on about three dozen of its own stations. It is expected to replace Limbaugh with Huckabee once these contracts expire.
"I can guarantee you that the minute Cumulus' contract with Rush expires in New York, they will replace him with Huckabee," said Joel Hollander, the former CEO of CBS Radio now running private investment firm 264 Echo Place Partners.
For now Limbaugh has some breathing room - the vast majority of his contracts with Cumulus do not expire until next year. Dickey said Cumulus has "no plans to drop Rush" from any of its stations at this time and will "honor its contracts."
Dickey's diplomacy is smart radio politics. Cumulus must navigate a delicate divide between competing and cooperating with Clear Channel. The radio industry as a whole has been in secular decline for more than a decade, as Apple Inc's iPods, satellite radio Sirius XM Radio Inc and Internet streaming services such as Pandora Media Inc have eaten away at advertising sales and audience share.
Traditional radio companies have been forced to look for new avenues of growth, often in partnership with each other. Cumulus recently announced a deal to stream its stations on Clear Channel's iHeart-Radio digital platform. The two companies also joined forces on "SweetJack," radio's version of Groupon Inc's daily deals, set to launch nationwide on May 1.
"Cumulus does have a lot of holes across the country where it will need to work with Clear Channel and others radio companies, so what you are going to see is a lot of horse trading," said Hollander

On December 21, 2012, something's gonna happin, and it will be big, I can feel it my groin.

I know the Mayan truth, the calendar will end, and then the secret will be revealed.

The Mayan's were smart, instead of making another calendar, the secret Mayan code word will be revealed by George.  It will be given out to the masses, "Repeato calendro."  In Mayan/mixed espanol it means "Repeat the calendar."  Go back to the beginning, go back to day one of the calendar and do it again.  The virgin will be put on for sacrifice, but George will rescue, and will not be heard from the rest of the night and on into 2013.

Sorry, I broke ranks and spoiled your thunder.

I kind of felt sorry for Josh Tatum.  Georgie's "interview" was all over the goddamn place and the celebrity name-dropping was truly out of hand.  Mel Gibson?  Really?  With his current schizoid reputation, I wouldn't even admit I'd met him.  George's tales of his seminal years in broadcasting, name-dropping, delusional self-promotion, Christian Wilde (WTF?)---why the hell bother with any sort of enjoyable interview?  Have to agree Margoloo, Tatum is NOTHING but mediocre.
Now, the two million dollar question, Can Josh Tatum host?

The worst part is that it was only the third from last paragraph when I realized that your writings were not an actual transcript.  How sad is that (both that I am really this gullible and that I perceive Noory as being that self absorbed...)

Well, no harmness to  you, either!  I am laughing more at that, your quote,  than I did while I was composing the transcript.   My transcript I must confess, was inspired by Mr. Sardoni and his self-absorption post above.
