Bateman would’ve been a far superior choice for an Art replacement than Heather.

No doubt.

Oh quite sincerely!  I am hoping for wall-to-wall election-night coverage, too.  I missed the show four years ago thinking it no contest and have felt cheated ever since.

I just can't tell if this is sarcasm or not.  Someone help me out here!

Well, he did get mugged.  Maybe that was the beginning of his end?  Maybe he felt that he had been 'bitched' by that incident?

"What's the frequency, Bateman?"

When I heard about that mugging, it painted a vision in my mind of a hairless metropolitan white guy with a hairdo helplessly submitting in a puddle of muck as the economically disadvantaged moved in to have their way.

Not a good look.

I don't know if Bateman's life flashed before his eyes, but if it did, his BellGab "Hours Online" stat probably found its way into the regret column at that moment.

Anyway, these types of incidents can cause people to lose interest in things.

I won't believe this debate is actually happening until it's happening.

Same.

Richard Groyper and I will be doing live play-by-play of the first debate between Trump and Biden.  Catch this hot mess Tuesday night at 9PM East, 6PM West.

Here's where it will happen:

Feels good.

There was a phone call at the end that I had on hold forever and forgot to bring on. Was that you?

That would be fine.  All you need is Skype and a Webcam.

Good news about another GabCast - very much enjoyed the new format.

So topic suggestion - which I believe was made last week, but the question was misconstrued, and maybe Groyp and Lee weren’t aware of the following...so I would like some commentary from Lee about this as I think he was privy to some version of this sorry tale from Heather herself...

I did see that screencap.  I wish I would have  remembered it while we were doing the show.  If anyone has the ability to get a hold of John Lear, send him a copy of the latest GabCast and ask if he'd be on via Skype to talk about it.  Either way, we'll talk about that screencap on the next show.  Thx for the reminder.

What are your plans and schedule for Lee and Groyper?  I’ve always thought Lee was a natural at doing a show and The Groyp is a natural at being The Groyp.

I'm thinking one per weekend.  It might not be Groyper on with me every time but he'll be on a lot either way.

...a lot of the discourse here during those times was guided by completely worthless people most of whom have left and no longer post here. Overall I'd say we've about broken even.

If I order flowers for you, will you allow Jackstar to deliver them?

Well Michael, at this juncture it would be prudent of you and Curtis to accept that God has not ordained your enterprise. In fact he seems to be personally aggrieved by the existence of this show and has done everything in his power to subvert and prevent it. If you continue to ignore his warnings his only remaining recourse will be the death of one or both of you. Good day.

That's why The Spec Sheet continues to exist.  It's a government funded experiment to determine the existence of God and his level of influence over day to day events.

And thanks, guys.  You know exactly how to motivate me.  Guess I'm obligated now, though.

Around 11:00PM East, 8:00PM West?  Groyp?

And Pate... install Hamachi on the tablet you're planning to use for controlling the mixer.  I don't know if we'll be set up to do that tonight but that's what you'll eventually need in order for me to get you connected.

The Spec Sheet is a podcast about technology hosted by Curtis Thornton (some guy) and Michael Vandeven (meeeee!!).  Our next live episode will be today at 8PM East, 5PM West.

We are going to do the show in both video form (live on YouTube) and over the usual stream.

Tonight's episode of The Spec Sheet is cancelled because Curtis had a pipe explosion in his home.  Several pieces of expensive furniture were washed away.  We will reschedule for some time during the week or next weekend at the latest.

Anybody want to do a GabCast?  You'll have to be on camera, though.

A guy who at any time could trigger a "silver alert" by inexplicably departing through a sliding glass door in the dead of night is going to stop forest fires and hurricanes for us.
