Get the State Dept to designate CAIR and some other Muslim groups as a terrorist organization (section 219 of the INA,) then arrest members/donor and seize funds, and be done with it. Well, we know the law doesn't matter these days and some 9th Circuit hack would block it, at least temporarily or in that jurisdiction, but still, why not try? Even the seize of some of the financial records would be useful in the fight against terrorism.

ps: I hope they break up the 9th. Too large, too slow, and too left. Defendents have the right of speedy trial and the 9th is too slow and large. It also covers too much of a diverse population with a balance in a few cities so judiciary doesn't represent value in much of the area- though, maybe, in much of the population. In other words, against minorities.

pps: Congress, and where possible Executive Agencies, should withhold funds from universities, and students, who push these weird Leftist, Islamic, decisive, violent, or disruptive activities and ideas. If a school has professors advocating violence etc they should not receive any Federal funds. Any racist group should not be funded or allowed official status on campus. If the blacks, latinos, jews, whites, hari-krishnas, catholics, BLTQUS, muslim, or whoever want to form groups, fine, but not recognized by a public university or supported by tax dollars. Students involved in violence should not be able to get grants or loans associated or backed by the government. Right of speech and assembly. But if violent, or incitement to violence, then certainly no help from public funding.

It might be true but my gut is saying it is "fake news" or something taken out of context. I'm not a Papist and so not defending the Pope and the cover-ups of all the abuse! But I can't find any other sources except "fringe" websites and all of whom seem to carry the same story, worded the same way.

But along those lines the illegals (17 and 18 year old FRESHMAN) who raped a 14 year old in school has had most of the charges dropped because she consented. Interesting the police report says she initially consented to sex with one of the boys but then said "no" once the other joined in and it got rough. ""Blood and body fluids found in bathroom, so doubtfully a consenting, fun experience for the 14 year old. And MD has a precedent* usually lauded by feminists and activists that consent can be withdrawn at any time. Therefore this should be prosecuted as a rape. Where are the feminists and child activists here?

Ha. Yeah, it must be tough trying to figure out who is the least privileged and therefore deserving of special status or help. And cause a lot of mental strain to overlook rapes or victims because the perp was less privledged status. Obviously since the victim (or as the government says "consenting") was 14 no information can be revealed about her. But I wonder the reason most of the charges were dismissed was because she was also Hispanic- and so the kind of subtle racism often found in the left (well, "they" start much younger, known to be promiscuous, have babies early, etc) or if charges were reduced because the girl was white and therefore, in a way, rape is, not condoned, but a sort of acceptable, almost revenge, for the past crimes of white people and being privileged.

I recall seeing on the news crazy sad stuff like bodies being found in cisterns etc at former convents, homes for unwed mothers, and orphanages run by the Catholic church or organizations related. Of course abuse happens elsewhere but, at least for a time, it seemed systemic.
