#sad
One would think that Capt Janeway would be anxious to appear as a guest for free on KON w/Heather Wade.
Quote from: albrecht on December 29, 2020, 05:49:06 PMI recall Norway couldn't remember the full movie titles and said "Seven Days in something..." etc
Ha. He doesn't pay much attention but still kept on searching for a movie reference for MAD: went through all great ones Dr.Strangelove, Seven Days in May, etc

Seriously? "We're not gonna TO take it?" *Forehead slap* THAT is so Noory!! Poor syntax at every turn: verbally and in his dreadful "books".
He's insufferable on every level yet, his grandiose delusions compel him to further his reach (now including his pedantic snake-oil roadshows: from his attire to his vocal stylings, Snoory deems himself the reincarnation of Robert Goulet. RIP, RG) to the consternation of those forced to endure him - show guests, his staff, his dwindling audience. Because he's barely literate, as demonstrated every time he slaughters the day's headlines, anything written, hosted or staged by GN is time or money wasted. Toasters hold more intrigue.
Quote from: ItsOver on December 27, 2020, 05:28:58 AMAt least Coast finally dumped Jimmy, who sounded like he worked as a DJ at some sleazy strip club.Actually I heard Jimmy Church quit c2c after waiting for years and hoping to be Noory's heir apparent. Jimmy probably ran out of patience for Noory to retire...

Ian not only asked the guest about aliens building the pyramids, but whether anything that looked like a spaceship or UFO appeared in hieroglyphics. The latter in particular elicited quite a chuckle from the guest. For a high powered academic, he seemed to have a pretty good sense of humor. I think he'd have taken Cleopatra in stride
Quote from: ItsOver on December 01, 2020, 06:20:24 PMI tuned in late but in time to catch bullets, beans, and guns Corny. Apparently, his 92 year father is on his last legs.I heard Corny pleading to Norway that he needs his presidential pardon soon, probably because its down to only a month left for Trump to do that for him?
Quote from: Ciardelo on November 30, 2020, 06:07:42 PMMike did call in recently when Ian was a guest on Noory's show, but Ian kept quiet since Noory was complimenting Mike big time, while Mike was totally ignoring Ian's advice...
Does MtM call in for Ian since he gotchewed outscolded that one time?
Quote from: albrecht on November 30, 2020, 05:12:14 PMI figured 'ole Walt would call in and start off with his usual "with all due respect to your guest..."
Good show last night and good callers with questions. Even Walt didn't get under Ian's skin when we was talking about "those Joose could tell some nice stories. They put Shakespeare to shame with those stories." What's-his-name from California sort of made Ian mad when he wasn't asking about the subject but talking about how self-sacrifice was suicide and always wrong. It is that frequent caller who claims he goes into past lives and alien dimensions or some thing.
Quote from: CronkitesGhost on November 26, 2020, 02:12:22 AMBut Noory believes he is protected by taking his 50+ daily vitamins and supplements to boost his immune system...
Noory's going to get this absolutely, it's fucking everywhere and is going to get worse for the next few months, vaccines or not. Noory already says he's not going to be vaccinated. He's going to get Tommy killed, dude had a pulmonary embolism already and is fat. George is a sociopath, he barely reacted to the death of his sister. Missed just a show or two when his father died. Tommy, he won't miss any shows, he'll do some tribute for a few minutes and then cut out early.
Quote from: Gyoza Girl on November 21, 2020, 10:09:33 AMI think Norway said Pat Boone was one of his mom's favorites, so thats why he knows about him.
Yes, it's very strange. George never listened to Bob Dylan, but has more than a passing familiarity with the song stylings of Pat Boone? He does occasionally mention the Beach Boys, a group that's more his time, but only to repeat his anecdote about how they changed their name from the Pendletons.
Quote from: Uncle Duke on November 09, 2020, 03:24:10 PMThe c2c website originally showed 2 hours for each guest, but apparently Syrett had enough of Miller after only one hour...
I just listened to that show. Was Miller only supposed to have been on an hour, or did Syrett jettison the guy early? He sounded stoned, or worse.
