I wonder if the credit card company makes the $125 fee his first purchase and if he doesn’t pay it all off the first month, they start charging a high interest rate on that annual fee. Even without making any purchases, and even if they didn’t charge interest on the annual fee, that would be about $10 per month just for the privilege of having the card.
For a guy that thinks finding $5.50 is a windfall, that sounds pretty unaffordable. But then, Falkienomics can be very illogical, and seems to be mostly based on what Falkie “just has to have†at the time.
