There's no question that it helps with appetite and nausea. I convinced an aunt that was going through chemo to try it. Worked wonders. She's also cancer free now, though I suspect she may still partake on occasion despite being 82 . . .
When and if I make it to 82 I would be baked all the time

My BFF lives in Colorado. She went through surgery and chemo and the only thing that helped her nausea and pain was pot.  She told me about all the strains and you can customize based on the effects you're looking for.  (Btw she is now cancer free and doing great   :)

Great to hear, TL. A lot of good reasons for other states to legalize it, but that's one of the best.

GravitySucks

Just a word of advice for someone who hasn't partaken in awhile and shows up in a dispensary in Colorado to try it because it is legal... Everything they sell is much more potent than the stuff you tried as a kid.

Just saying. That's what I heard.

The thing I don't like about this lady, and some other activists, is all this talk about taxes. I find that very suspect. I understand the marketing campaign but that what lottos, casinos, etc or whatever always claims, usually don't work out. But even just the idea of how good "taxes" are?

I'll be doing much harder drugs by that point.  Once I'm past 80 I plan to live the self-destructive rock n' roll lifestyle I narrowly avoided in my youth.

Aldous stepped out and forgot to come back.  Happy wanderings sir.
Something ironic about the fact that Aldous of all people isn't here.  Maybe he asked to be Art's expert, got turned down and now  off pouting

I was in Amsterdam a number of times during the heyday of their coffee shops and holy jesus, they had amazing stuff. I remember being so stoned that I fell into a canal one day.

TigerLily

Yes the Fed restrictions on Legal marijuana money are ridiculous.

She probably emphasizes that since it placates the state/local gov't officials.  There's really no intrinsic reason why it should be taxed more than potatoes.

That's not that unusual for a dolphin man.

Dude totally, it's so weird. Every time the DEA makes a bust and nabs a couple tons of mexican brick weed, it always perplexes me who's buying that stuff and where it's going. Heck even in high school in the height of prohibition, we were still getting world class stuff from local growers and Canada.
It depends on the state and the cheapness of growing (and all those truck they catch at border or on highways moving the weed, brings the dogs/BP/ICE off the cars moving coke, meth, horse!) Cartel leadership aren't, all, dumb, flood the border, shit gets through. Weed is cheap so better to flood with that (some busts are, simply absurd when you read about them) and other stuff get through. (If a cousin isn't already on the watch or bribed or Mexican truck sent through, etc.) Ha.

I'm backstage tonight working as a roadie.

I love alcohol, but it's objectively awful.  Never feel like shit the next day with the other.  Unless I eat way too much.

Nice! I will now claim knowledge (haha.) Instead of looking like confused tourist businessman trying it out. Ha. Now, what about hash? Scams (right after the Taliban but before 911 I thought I should score some but didn't know/if real, from from "coffee shop" there and got..gone but legit or not? Hash? Is that just resin from pipes or real stuff or what?

Hash is an extract of cannabis.  It is produced in several manners, producing slightly different final product.... but generally it is a putty like texture. One crumbles a small bit into a pipe and takes single hits.  Or one can crumble and mix with cannabis in a joint. several other methods  LOL.

Black hash (India), blonde hash(Lebanon), red hash (Moroccan) ,  are three types of hash

Black hash is a hand rubbed hash.  resin is collected on the hands and then rubbed off and formed into balls etc.
Blonde hash is a dry sifted hash.  dry cannabis is rubbed on fine screens and the resin gland fall thru and are collected, and then pressed into forms.
red hash is also a dry sift.

there is also ice water extraction ... as the resin is not water soluable, this is possible to extract using ice/water

Then there is oil extraction.  This is done by using a solvent, to wash the resin from the cannabis plant.
this solvent could be pure alcohol, or isopropyl alcohol.  It also could be butane extracted.  These methods are more dangerous, obviously as you are using solvents/compressed gas and should not be attempted by untrained people.

Luckily you are a fish mammal, because not much oxygen in them. But did you find my stolen bike in there?

My eyes always roll when I hear that tripe.  With all the money "going to the schools" you'd think we'd be surrounded by Einsteins.

I recall something from coffee shop that approached Light-Brown sugar in a rectangular form. And, another timeand place, some that look reddish-brown put on a pin but consistency of "Liquid Nails?"
