It is a cool idea and, likely, easier for bikes/walking. Pick ups and SUVS and 18 wheelers? And the issue I think it the idea, not sure if true, eliminating 'black ice' and temp degradation? Cost seems prohibitive but for things like parking lots?

I kind of regret asking my question about the information-fueled interstellar drive a few weeks ago with the holographic universe guy now with Dr Kaku on tonight.

Maybe I should try to call in about the idea of a gas torus with a breathable atmosphere. That, or the idea of covering roads and other paved areas with solar panels.
