years ago there was a fps/strat game called machines: Wired For War

Unfortunately the only game dev skills I have are as being a beta tester and bug reporting lol.  Of course I've always thrown my two cents in idea-wise with anything I get into...
So, how is this coming along?  I checked out some of the threads for part 2 on that site and it looks like you guys have been working on it for a while now.  Without perusing the whole site any further (lazy) can you elaborate a little more on the project?
It's an FPS right? You guys picked a damn good game engine from the looks of things...
