It's been dead for years.

He wasn't bad in Black Mass, but looking at his filmography I have to go back to 2009 for something he was in that was actually good.

Yep, Black Mass is the only one that looked any good. I already bought the movie so I'll watch it.  Doubt I'll ever buy another of his films.

Let's see Dark Shadows (damn him and Tim Burton), Mortdecai, The Lone Ranger and a bunch of films that never made it to the metroplex.  I see he is Universal's choice to play Dr. Griffin in a new version of The Invisible Man (Claude Rains turning over in his grave).  Hopefully he will get pulled off that one.
If Hollywood had any sense they would try new material (or at least somewhat new stuff, I know there are "theories" that there are basically only a few real plots and this idea has been around since the Greeks, at least) or just re-release their good movies. Universal is a great example. Instead of spending billions on re-making great movies with mediocre actors- and politically-correct casting and sub-plots- just re-release the original "monster movies." Kids, of all ages, would enjoy them if given the chance. I know CGI and short-attention spans but if they could last a few moments of withdrawl they might like them. In any event certainly better (and cheaper) to do than 'remake' them.

Yes. He wanted to become French but then quickly reverted to US citizenship once he understood how much taxes he would have to pay if he became a French citizen. Or so I recall.

Good Christ.  Depp retreated fm the French. What a phaggot.

RIP George Romero. He made some great movies.

Klaus Eberwein, former Haitian official under some criticism, pizza shop co-owner, and Uber driver, dead. He also was one of the people who exposed the Clinton Foundation. Suicide is claimed. He was scheduled to testify on Tuesday before the Haitian Senate’s Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

Mission Impossible was probably my favorite show growing up

ItsOver

I'll always remember him alongside Peter Graves.  "I'm Peter Graves, alongside Martin Landau."

I saw where Martin Landau was set to star in a movie about old people along with Michael Parks who also died this year.  Herstory was the name of the flick.  Last thing I saw him in was in Remember along with Christopher Plummer.  In the story, Plummer is convinced by his Jewish nursing home friend, played by Landau, to hunt down an extremely elderly Nazi played by Jurgen Prochnow.  There is a nice twist to the story near the end.  It was pretty good.

I remember Landau from Mission Impossible and Space: 1999 as well as his early role in North By Northwest.  Oh and I must not forget his brilliant portrayal of an aging Bela Lugosi in Ed Wood.  RIP, Mr. Landau.

Romero was ok though I never was a big fan of his films.  I preferred Lucio Fulci's Zombie over Dawn of The Dead though Night of The Living Dead was a great little low budget film.  Monkey Shines was also an interesting film that I recommend.  RIP, Mr. Romero.

Bummer. I liked him in Rounders.

Here's the third - sportscaster Bob Wolff. He was the voice of the Washington Senators, New York Knicks, and New York Rangers.  He was around a long time - interviewed Babe Ruth, is the only person to have called a championship game in all four major professional sports. He was 96.

He is not dead but F. Lee Bailey sure has fallen far from the decades of being one of the most famous, and successful, defense attorneys for decades. Now broke and living/working in Maine with a hairdresser.

Gender-Fluid warlord opium queen, called 'uncle,' and CIA business partner dead at 90.

"Olive Yang, the royal-turned-warlord, whose CIA-supplied army consolidated opium trade routes in the Golden Triangle in the 1950s, had tabloid-fodder romances, and later in life served as a government peace broker with Kokang rebels, died on Thursday. Yang was 90."

"Editor’s Note: Olive Yang’s gender identity is difficult to explain. Yang's native language, which is similar to Chinese, doesn’t use gendered pronouns at all. That, in combination with being born in the Golden Triangle at a time when various terms for gender identity didn’t exist, may have contributed to her not ever stating a preference for how she is referred to. Later in life, Yang preferred to be referred to as Uncle Olive."
