Cool, I was just referencing her assertion that the FBI and CSIS roles were the same.
I'm surprised she still posts here.

Art, you may be surprised.

Up here, the equivalent of the FBI is called CSIS. And a while back THEY contacted ME because, apparently someone from BellGab was trying to both hack into my web site and was also sending threatening messages to me. My site, apparently, is housed on the same server as several web sites from the Canadian government.

Anyway, I soon found out that CSIS monitors all this stuff, in a big way...so I am sure the FBI is also monitoring 4chan. They probably have tracks on it already.

So best of luck. I hope they catch the scum.
The FBI is akin to our RCMP Royal Canadian Mounted Police  both are federal policing entities.
CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) is akin to the US CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), these are both intelligence agencies.

I'm surprised just how loud the X-37B is as it overflies(glides) you at low altitude.  OTV-4 (4th X-37B mission) is now over 688 days.

The project went black 2004 when the Airforce took over the project from NASA.  It was originally designed to be launched by a Space SHuttle, but was redesigned to launch on Atlas 5 launch vehicles.

Oops! I'm having a bad day today...astronaut-wise.  :-[
Gene Krantz was never an astronaut.  He was a legendary Flight Director, notable work during Apollo 13 and Apollo-11, and during Apollo-5, Apollo-7, Apollo-9, Apollo-15 and Apollo-17.  He retired in 1994 after the 1993 STS-61 mission, the Shuttle mission that fixed the Hubble Space Telescopes focusing issue. Orbiter Vehicle OV-105 got the nod for that HST servicing mission, the only time that Endeavour got to stretch her wings and approach her upper max limits for altitude, as only the Hubble missions would do.
Hubble orbits at about 540km(336 miles), ISS was orbited at about 300-320km(186-199 miles) when Shuttle was servicing the ISS.  Nowadays ISS orbits at about 400-407 km(249-253 miles).

This July 28, 2017 there will be an Apollo mission reunion celebrating the 50th Anniversay of the Apollo program, in Oshkosh.  10 Apollo Astronauts are confirmed to attend, Including Buzz Aldrin and Harrison Schmitt   Get your tickets early.

Nice to hear you two Trainwrecking again.  I'm looking forward to any future work.

I remember a place over at UFOship.com where listeners could leave comments for each show, but I no longer see it anymore.  There is certainly plenty to talk about.  It seems as though the 2016 election has left people with a lot of "frayed ends".

Again thanks for the shows MV.

New show title, "Michael Vandeven's Radio Wrecking Ball."

Call me crazy but listening to an old podcast of a current events show just doesn't appeal to me. Maybe I'll catch it live on Monday.  ;)

You asked about the show, so I answered.  You're welcome, Sir!

Different strokes I guess.  I don't mind the old events.  I enjoy comparing/contrasting the old topics vs. new.  The most entertaining parts for me personally is MV's presentation and the dynamics between MV and EvB.
I've downloaded all the content from UFOShip, there's lots of good stuff there.

Hopefully there are some new shows so that you can enjoy as well.

Hmm...No one wants to talk about Train Wreck or really knows what it is. Is it that bad?!  ???
MV's Radio Trainwreck is a podcast where  MV and EvB pick out news articles and current events topics and then give each others opinions about said topic.  MV, at every turn, attempts to belittle EvB as he would rather talk about things "off the cuff" while Evelyn feels the need to be rehearsed and informed about the topics that are discussed.  Race, religion, politics, family, technology are discussed all the while a battle of wills ensues, sometimes its book smarts vs. street smarts.  Two different points of view is the norm, served up with a helping of generational gap between the two hosts.

Evelyn is an older lady, probably in her 60's, during much of the Trainwreck series, she was working on and eventually was awarded her Masters of Education.  Not to be left out MV, the technology repair entrepreneur in his late 30's becomes a "fancy college boy".

An entertaining podcast that you can hit play and sit back and enjoy the intelligent and colourful presentation.

I suggest you download a few and listen for yourself

Wasn't meaning with fish and chips, but you can always tell there's a British expatriate community here if you see chips with gravy as a menu option. I'd always had the impression that this disgusting dish came from somewhere north of Coventry but south of Scotland.

Get rid of that wiener and add some cheese curd and you'd have a plate of Poutine.  Lose the wiener and cover that with mayo and you'd have the Dutch treat "Fries and Mayo".  This dish is referred to as Canadian even though it originated in the Province of Quebec

My last visit to the island, Scotland had some kids laughing at me when I called the protein section of a hot dog the wiener. Apparently they call the sausage like portion the hotdog, I never found out what the entire wiener/bun combination was called.

Not pretending to be anything. I'm educating you. You still pretending to be a doctor?

"Every physician is a doctor, but not every doctor is a physician."

More popularly used by surgeons to make themselves feel superior,
"Every surgeon is a doctor, but not every doctor is a surgeon."

During my training, one section of my Gross Anatomy class was presented by a female who was a practicing Chiropractor who was pregnant. She was stepping in mid semester, and she was introducing herself to us, and us to her.  I raised my hand and asked a question.

My question was "Doctor, is there concern of induced hemorrhage from neck manipulations?" or something to that effect, the question wasn't important, me knowing and acknowledging that the instructor was a doctor thusly informing the dildo seated next to me that the pregnant female standing in front of us held a doctorate or some sort.  He then blurted out, "you're a doctor?"
She answered, "I normally work as a Chiropractor."
Then the guy next to me replied "Oh, so your're not a REAL doctor then."
As I tried to sneak down and hide, she replied "Well the doctorate hanging on my wall is REAL, the school loans I am paying are real."  The class laughed, and all was well after that.

Oh school was fun, your comments triggered the recollection of that memory.

Isn't Antartica about the worst place to launch from?  I understood that the nearer to the equator the better is the deal for space launches?  Something about using the Earth's rotational velocity to your advantage?

You got it Pontiac.  Launching from the poles gets you absolutely zero assist so far as orbits that travel from West to East. The land at the equator is moving 1670 km per hour, and land halfway to the pole is only moving 1180 km per hour.
Now if we are talking about Polar orbits, or obits that either go from North to South or South to North, launching at the poles could be made to work.

Remember back in 1986 when STS-51L Challenger launched? Just a few months later, there was scheduled launch to occur from the West Coast.  It never occurred because of the Challenger incident.
STS=Space Transportation System
The 1st digit is a 5 which means the launch was scheduled for fiscal year 1985
The 2nd digit will either be a 1 or a 2. 1 is for Kennedy Space Center-East Coast launches, "2" is for Vandenburg West Coast Launches
The 3rd digit is the sequence that the mission was scheduled within the fiscal year. A is the 1st mission, B is the2nd, C is the 3rd, so L=12th launch scheduled.

So the launch scheduled to launch from the West Coast was STS-62-A.
6 is fiscal year 1986
2= West Coast Launch
A=1st launch from SLC-6 West Coast

There was a mission named STS-62-A Discovery was scheduled to launch from Vandenburg AFB from SLC-6 (Space Launch Complex Six-pronounced Slick Six) down towards the South for the SSP(Space Shuttle Program) first Polar Orbit launch.

Because the West to East launches from Kennedy Space Center allowed for a roughly 55,000lb payload inside the Orbiter.  In order to provide 29,600 payload capabilities for a Polar Orbit launch, the Shuttle required different Solid Rocket Boosters, which were the same size as the KSC East to West Orbit launches, except that instead of 1/2" wall steel casing, the Vandenburg Polar Launch SRB's were made of Filament Wound Casings(FWC).  In addition, instead of running the SSMEs(Space Shuttle Main Engines) at the typical 104.5% Rated Power Level(RPL)
Here is a pic from Vandenburg AFB SLC-6 with Orbiter Enterprise installed on the launch pad in October 1985.

Performance for intermediate inclinations can be estimated by allowing 660 pounds for each degree of plane change between inclinations of 68 and 98 degrees.

Here is a pic of a display Shuttle Stack with the Vandenburg Filament Wound Cases.

During the downtime when Shuttle was grounded from 1986-1989, it was determined that Polar West coast launches would NOT occur, so the 4 billion dollar investment was wasted, and all useable components were taken to KSC for use and SLC-6 was mothballed.

Here is a pic of Enterprise sitting atop SLC-39A(Space Launch Complex 39-A in Florida) checking out the fitment of the pad with the Orbiter 20 months before the first Shuttle launch.  Enterprise was never built to go into space, but it was the first Orbiter to actually take flight and land, as it was used in the 1979 ALT(Approach/Landing Tests).  It was 1st taxied at various speeds atop the 747 SCA(Shuttle Carrier Aircraft) to test the 747's acceleration and braking with the 250,000 pound Orbiter on top of it.  Then the SCA and Enterprise took flight with the Orbiter unpowered, then flights took place with the Enterprise powered with Pilots, then finally flights took place with pilots in Enterprise, with Enterprise actually being cut loose from a rapidly descending SCA 747.

Both Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, SCA-911(background)  SCA 905(foreground)

And SCA 905 midflight with Orbiter Challenger on her back from 1982.

Oh those were the days.
