Tonight, 8:00 EST on RetroTV, it's MST3K's "First Spaceship on Venus."  I'm not sure if I've seen this one before.  Regardless, I'll be standing on my head and fiddling with the rabbit ears to fine-tune the reception.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show â€" I should really just relax."

I'm no Syrett fan.  About the only good thing I can say is at least he's not Noory although I believe he's a Jorch lackey, which pretty much says all I need to know about him.  With his voice, he sounds like a good match for Lisa Garr.

Definitely.

Clyde's a bit kooky to be sure, and I've butted heads with him a couple of times when he misquotes or takes Scripture out of context to support a viewpoint, but I know that when he says something he genuinely believes it, right or wrong.

I can respect that.

George is nothing more than a kiss-ass clown with zero conviction who just goes along to get along.

I'm pretty sure I heard Clyde take a potshot at George one night when a caller brought up C2C. He said, "Oh, the show with the host who pretends to be interested in the paranormal?"

I agree about Clyde.  He can be a real screwball but then he'll have a decent guest on the show, especially related to ufology, and he's pretty good.

Yes, I heard the comment Clyde made about Jorch and got a good snicker.  As I recall, it was something like "Oh, the show hosted by THE OLD GUY who pretends to be interested in the paranormal?"  ;D

I believe Paper*Boy in another thread summarized something to the effect that once Art got back into the grind of doing a weekly show, it was more of a hassle than he wanted to put up with.  Something along the lines of "the having isn't nearly as good as the wanting."  I tend to agree with that explanation.  Witness his bailing-out on DM shows not long after he started.  That's when I started to get an uneasy feeling he wasn't going to be doing DM for long.  I was glad I'd only signed-up with Sirius on a month-to-month basis, at that point.

I sincerely hope Art disproves this speculation, though, and returns next year and sticks around for longer than a few weeks.  We shall see.

GNS.

Nice! Thanks everyone for all your positive feedback on my photos. I've only gotten comfortable sharing my work over the past year or so. I'll try to get more of my San Fran pics up on Monday. I'm heading out to go camping right now and we'll have no internet where we're going. Have a great weekend!

Thank yeeeeww!  ;D

Thank yeeeeww.  :)  The Golden Gate is one structure I could see every day and never get tired of it. When I was staying down there, I would come around this one bend of the road in Alameda, and the bridge would come into view and it was just awesome.  I'll have to dig through my old shots and post some more. I have a lot of different vantage points of the bridge. I was able to go on a Coast Guard patrol boat for fleet week and we were stationed directly below the bridge. I've also walked it several times.
Hahaha, absholutely! HR, yes, I'd love seeing some more of your photos of the Golden Gate, when you get a chance.  You should start a thread dedicated to your photos.  :)

The bridge is reason enough to visit San Francisco.  I spent most of a day taking it in and then walking the span.  The gift shop and surrounding exhibits detailing the construction and history of the bridge are very well done

It was the classic foggy SF day when I first arrived at the bridge and then it cleared as I walked across.  On the return, the fog started rolling back over the beautiful hills on the Marin side and swirling around the bridge.  A very surreal experience that I'll never forget.  Just plain beautiful.  A creation of man, in harmony with nature.

Caller talks with sNoorn about a UFO sighting he had. Paraphrasing and not verbatim.

Caller: It sort of looked like a golden football.
sNooron: So it was small.
Caller: No, it was a mile or more away.

"Wow!"
Did I hear Snooron say Aldrin saw an unidentified object but it wasn't a UFO?  Flying aside, it sounded as if Jorch didn't know what the acronym stood for.

I concur!  Fantastic shots. I love the one of the GGB's tower.  The bridge is one of the most beautiful works of engineering I've seen, especially with it's setting.  It goes so well with the natural beauty.

No advances in Technology are fucking us right now. You can go into 3rd world countries and everyone there has smart phones and flat screens. People stop buying PCs and buying Tablets instead. Windows is much more expensive on tablets vs the Andriod cupcake whatever OS of the month that's new.
MS should've wised up and started their own Video service to compete with youtube.
And then there's the pile of crap known as Windows 8. I rarely use my home laptop and just use my el cheepo Android instead.

Yosemite National Park, San Francisco and Napa Valley with a side trip to the lovely road between Carmel and Monterey. And Big Sur. Also, St John's Virgin Island and the gorgeous Ottawa where two Labatts had me weaving on the way back to the hotel. All places I want to revisit.

My dreams, though, are to one day visit Greece and to take the train through the Canadian Rockies.
Yes, I love most of NoCal.  Tahoe is magnificent.  Couple of years ago, I rented a condo in San Fran.  Got a transit pass for $60.  If I couldn't walk, I took the bus.  Walked the Golden Gate Bridge
, Fishermen's Wharf, Chinatown, Japantown, Coit Tower, North Beach, etc.  Wonderful in August. Some of the natives are assholes but a beautiful place to visit.

That would be too edgy for Jorch and might upset his mommy.  One of the many problems of Jorch.  Not only does he suck, he's just plain boring.

I don't find Premier on the web, I see a permier christian, how do I contact premier, what is their website?

Good luck, LJ.  The usual response from PremRat is some kind of form letter about how pleased they are with their boot licking lackey Jorch, if I recall correctly, or some other kind of pc corporate drivel from some hack who's never listened to C2C.  If you send a message to Jorch, the usual response, if there is one, is some misspelled bad mouthing of you and calling you a "hater," of course.

PremRat is lost in space and George is just Jorch.

Noory's problem?  Jorch Noory.  And the idiotic outfit that retains him, PremRat.  They must be penny wise and pound foolish.  Sure, maybe they think they're being really clever by paying Noory peanuts, by comparison to other radio show hosts, but if they loosened the strings a little and got a talented host, they could significantly increase their audience size, once again, and pull in more revenue.  What was Art's audience? 10 million or more compared to The Nooron's 3 million or less?  Wasn't even Frankenwells audience larger than Jorch's?

Jorch sucks.  PremRat sucks.

Glad to hear you got to see "Sharknado," Uncle Duke and sorry to hear you didn't make it, RGG.  Yes, I pretty much ignored the inserts of the RiffTrax crew on the side of the movie.  Not as effective as the classic MST3K character insert at the bottom of the flick.  I was laughing so much, I didn't really notice it, though, and the funny thing is I couldn't tell you much of the actual "Sharknado" storyline, if there actually was one.  Just too amused by the running wisecracks and comical observations.

I'm definitely planning to catch "Godzilla" next month and then "Anaconda" in October.  You're right, RGG.  "Roadhouse" would be a killer to riff, even though I feel bad for the horrific death of Patrick Swayze, at a fairly young age. A bad way to go.

Aren't you close to any theater showing the RiffTrax productions, Saucerlike?  "Anaconda" should be a hoot.

Very good - yes its appropriate that Noory for his interstellar message broadcast would do a commercial.
Increase salees to ETs too?  8)u
The Jorch version of "Contact" would be "Silence." No doubt explains Seth Shostak's lack of success.  Keep "a scarin" those aliens away, Jorch!  Maybe he should be placed on the border.

Just a reminder for tomorrow night's second showing of "Sharknado."

From the comments, it looks like some others had more than a few laughs.  It's worth seeing for the short, alone.
