Why is it the Left always must resort to making changes outside our Constitutional Process?  Why are they always so completely incapable of making their case logically and appealing to common sense?  Why is it they never even try?  The question answers itself - their world view makes no sense when it's examined.  Their arguments don't hold up when debated.

Their tactics range from election fraud, to gerrymandering, to street mob violence, to placing fake judges on the various courts who will substitute Left-wing ideology for the law.

I worked in an office building where there were flatscreen cable TV displays at either end of the lobby. One side had CNN and the other had Fox News. One day, after the displays were switched for some resaon, I heard that a black woman that worked as a receptioist in an office outside the flatscreen that now showed Fox News complained to management, and said "I don't want Fox News on outside our office... 'they're Racist'."

The building management acquiesced to her complaint, and put CNN back on the flatscreen on her side of the lobby. (Note: the volume on that TV was never up... even when it was CNN... just the image of Fox News triggered her.)

So, CNN triggers conservatives, and they see CNN as an agenda driven network. I don't have cable so CNN is not on my "news feed". I watch Fox News Channel highlights on YouTube and Roku from time to time, specifically, The Five. With Roku, I jump all around to many News Channel outlets and catch an interesting interview from time to time.

As a Party, they are getting worse by the minute.  These are not the same so-called ''Liberals'' that filibustered the Civil Rights Acts of the 1950s and 1960s; cut off supplies to S Vietnam after we pulled out, dooming them to the North in the 1970s; colluded with the Soviets to disarm our nuclear deterrent, and colluded with Cuba to undermine our allies in the region in the 1980s; tried to force Euro-style Socialist medicine on us and take away the guns we need for self protection in the 1990s; and, ultimately, gave us Pelosi and Obama to undermine the country.  And put the official mark of approval on the group that needs to keep changing it's name as it disgraces itself in front of real Americans:  Solidarity International/Black Bloc, Occupy Wall St, Black Lives Matter, Antifa.

They already have, two decades ago.  Massive, ongoing intellectual property theft, and gross illegal trading practices (illegal per their signature to conform with WHO requirements).  It's just that it's finally time to quit waiting for them to grow out of it, and put an end to it ourselves...

Free trade can't happen between two countries as unequal as ours in so many ways (legal systems, productions costs, government intervention, etc), and we've agreed to look the other way all these years for a variety of reasons - including them having to do something with our dollars so they exchange them for our debt.

I love the post.  I don't think that there is much that anybody could reasonably disagree with.  I hope that there are more people who agree that it is time to do something about it- and soon.

My concern is the number of people who seem to think that "we" can enter trade wars and that it will be painless... That there will not be a few years of some very serious economic consequences.  I do believe that in the end, the entire world can be better off...

The other thing that I find interesting is that a certain world leader seems to be wanting to do a trade war with the entire world at once when it might make more sense to find some countries with similar values and economic realities and find allies.  The fact is that yes- the US is a huge consumer of Chinese made goods (and those from other third world countries with cheap labour and no concern for copyrights or other laws.)  However, if you ban everything from those countries, it will drive down the price and increase consumption in other countries (I guess I could look forward to even cheaper imported crap if a proper trade war happens south of the boarder.) 

I don't see how one country will actually be able to take on this problem alone.  Allies may be necessary (even to purchase some of that debt that China holds if they decide to start dumping in retaliation.)  I just don't know if he would be able to find any allies in the current crop of world leaders...

Anyhow, it will be interesting to see how things play out...
