Does this mean Art won't be coming back on Midnight in The Desert?

One of Art shows i liked was the guy floating in the air on a lawn chair, while talking to his GF on a CB radio.

Haha basically. Imagine if Mexicans actually fought to make Meixico great again so they didn't have to come here to feed their families. There's no reason Mexico couldn't be a thriving 1st world country.

haz de México de nuevo genial!

If we can get our government to make entering this country illegally pointless, that could help push people of Mexico to do something finally.

ART IS 800 YEARS OLD WITH SEVERE COPD AND HE HAD THE NERVE TO MAKE ANOTHER BABY?! What a selfish prick. That child will grow up fatherless!!!!! He'll be feeling like I felt the second time Art quit his show (lowkey, I think Aron -however the fuck you spell her name -  made him quit bc she wanted his time & attention) times one million.

Has Art stuck around for any of his kids growing up?

Quote
A notice of settlement has been filed in ART BELL and his wife AIRYN RUIZ BELL's defamation lawsuit against syndicated talker MICHAEL SAVAGE, WESTWOOD ONE, and CUMULUS for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional or negligent infliction of emotional distress.

The notice was filed on FEBRUARY 27th and approved by Judge JEFFREY S. WHITE last THURSDAY (3/2) in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of CALIFORNIA, with no details revealed.  The order also vacates a scheduled hearing date of APRIL 28th and a case management conference date of MARCH 10th, giving the parties time to finalize the settlement.

Report on Art Bell filing suit against Michael Savage in US District Court, Nov 30, 2016:

''A request for a retraction or correction was "ignored," the complaint states. "At present, Mr. BELL is strongly considering resumption of his radio broadcasting and journalism careers," the complaint adds. "However, the Statement has harmed his professional reputation and is hindering his efforts to return to broadcasting and journalism''."

First, this is a frivolous lawsuit.  For claiming in the filing he was ''strongly considering resumption of his radio broadcasting career'' when in my opinion he is not - based on his comments and actions - and is just using that as a reason to seek damages, I hope Savage sues him for attorney's fees.

I believe it's a frivolous lawsuit too. In 2015 Art clearly stated he was hanging it up for good.

I doubt Savages listeners knew who he was talking about. Did anyone post "i think savage insulated Art Bell" on here, back when it happened on Savage radio show?

Before the lawsuit was filed, i never heard a thing about it. Guess that shows how much the internet cared.

I love Art, don't get me wrong. But if he was really a badass,  wouldn't he have just hunted down that prowler and stuck a double barrel up his ass?

Still no proof the prowler/stalker is real.

Who can blame him for wanting to leave Dark Matter Digital Network. Would you want to come on after Amateur Hour in The Desert with Girl Noory.

Quote from: norland2424 on April 03, 2016, 04:58:43 PM
The biggest issue here is that you know this means Heather will get a 5 hour time slot, its their only " option " to be able to compete against noory and crew.

That would be cruel and unusual punishment listening to 5 hours of Girl Noory.

I'm surprised David Wilcock is not a weekly guest for RCH.

I don't think MV could handle it to be honest. He lost his composure dealing Richards stalker.  After a week of doing MiTD and reading all our comments, he would probably do this to all of us.

Not much room to maneuver here:

"I will soon do some fill in shows."

Italics added for emphasis.

soon

adverb

1.
in or after a short time.
"everyone will soon know the truth"
synonyms:   shortly, presently, in the near future, before long, in a little while, in a minute, in a moment, in an instant, in a bit, in the twinkling of an eye, in no time, before you know it, any minute (now), any day (now), by and by;

Rejoice!? :)

Hard to believe anything that comes out of Art bell mouth these days.  He lied about having a stalker, he says he hanging it up for good, he says Heather has talent.

MiTD gaining a few affiliates doesn't mean the show is any good, look at how many affiliates C2CAM has.

Whatever became of those allegations of molestation that were levelled against him?  I heard an old program on www.U7Radio.org with Art mentioning it.

AB went on about KR's religious behavior/spirituality and my first thought was that, in today's world, that's more of a red flag than vouching for his character.    ::)

I have always liked listening to Hoagland. I don't listen to him that often now due to his show being on so late. I'm too cheap to subscribe to 19.5.

No shit? Really? I had no clue, other than the 42 million times it has already been said. I thank you for making it clear.

No problem glad i could help by clearing that up for you.  :P

I wouldn't necessarily expect him to have evidence.  What evidence would there be, and why would he have to present it?

I don't believe it because it doesn't ring true.  He certainly doesn't act as if he's in any sort of danger.

Art is the one claiming to have a stalker, he told the whole world about it.  A simple police report that shows the police actually found evidence shouldn't be too much to ask. Were not asking for DNA evidence.

#17
We don't believe Art story because he doesn't have a shred of evidence to prove it. The police couldn't find any evidence to back up Art story.

"MV should moderator the forums better", is code for he should censor/block anyone that dares to say Heather Wade SUCKS or has no talent.

#18
Falkie2013 made "Heather Wade Sucks" thread but MV merged it MiTD with Heather wade thread.

Will Art be remember for his radio show during the 90's, or will he be remember as the host that quits all the time.

#22
Premiere Networks doesn't need to scare Art off the air, they can just wait a few months for Art to quit on his own (again).

Hi Art, (if you happen to stop by and read this) I posed a question on the GabCast about folks with disclosure info that have been waiting in the wings to talk with you on the air. Have you considered having a BelGab connected podcast with these people a couple times a month? Over the decades you have instilled confidence for guests that is either lacking in most hosts or todays hosts have not yet established. Years ago, you were the 1st person that I told about what I had seen at Edwards AFB in the late 80's. After talking to you, and your guest who validated what I saw, I felt a huge weight had been lifted from me. Just have a feeling that a series of chats between you and eager "disclosers" would break the internet. All in favor, raise your hand....
All the best to you and yours...Peace

If i wanted to disclose important information, Art Bell radio show would be the last place i would want to disclose it. MiTD doesn't reach that many people. Art Bell isn't known for disclosing the truth, hes known for having crazy people and charlatans on the air.

Yeah man. I think that interview was what most of us thought it would be and I think MV realized the time in history we're in and that show represents. Although it's amusing a day after Art going on there and basically begging BellGab to be nice to Heather, it's the exact same. But it was fine.

I love the way MV zips through calls. Nothing is better than hot lines and nothing is worse than boring calls that stay on too long. That was my favorite part of MITD when Art would zip through calls in the before time.

It was funny hearing Art beg people to be nice to Heather, he tried to goat MV into moderating the forums to where no one could say anything bad about Heather.

Art doesn't know this place very well, bellgab members aren't afraid to say what they think.

Sure. 5 seconds is really ample time. Even Art was trying to talk to the guy, but MV kept interrupting and screaming like a toddler.

MV did lose his composure while talking to the stalker.

Next time Art is on a show talking about his stalker, he will one up the story to make sure more people really believe it. Who posts pictures of their kid online for the world to see, if they really do have a stalker.

MV baited Art into bashing RCH all for no talent Heather Wade sake. Someone should of asked Art about Heather meltdowns.

Hey while Art is going on shows why doesn't he GO ON HIS OWN SHOW???? He can show up for GabCast but not for his own followers and show? Mental.

What's it say when when Art will go on GabCast but won't be a "guest" on his own flop of a radio show.

Art, if your going to keep the show a float out of your own pocket, you should open up the archives to help bring in new listeners. If you want to attract new listeners, you got to open up the archives to allow them to listen when they want. We all know that MiTD is not the only show on the block, we have all kinds of podcasts and radio shows to choose from that give you free access to archives.

What made you use Coast to Cast AM intro for Midnight in The Desert. Don't you think it's tacky to use another radio show intro theme.  You sold the rights to C2CAM show to Premiere long time ago, you quit working for that network years ago. Were you afraid MiTD couldn't compete without using the same intro theme C2CAM uses.

Anyone with talent would stay away from hosting Midnight in The Desert. The second you take over hosting MiTD, you will always be under Art Bell shadow on that show.

I posted these in the MITD thread, it's enough subscribers to keep going... for sure. All that need be done is not to crash, to stay on the road. And the fact is listeners can as easily be more than subscribers, given the "trending" method of channel discovery. I'm glad there is a DMDN, as an option. "Editors choice", 85k... that's a "going concern".

We'll see.

TuneIn subscribers don't mean jack. Just because people subscribe doesn't mean they listen every night. I follow DMDN on tunein. I don't listen to the show due to quality of guests and due to the host of MiTD. If MiTD made archives free, that still wouldn't get me to listen to it. When Art was hosting the show, i didn't tune in that often due to the guests. Art failed to bring on quality guests that we hear on Coast to Coast AM and other shows/podcasts.

The main reason i follow is to make it easier for me to tune in if something big happens on air. Like if someone posts "Heather is having a melt down etc".
