pansexual?

Almost every friend my daughter has, has dated both genders. One week, they are “play dating” their female friends, for a laugh. The next week, they’re dating for real. Several other friends are gay but refuse to be referred to as he or she. Others have changed their names to that of the opposite gender, and are identifying as trans.

I knew like two or three gay kids when I was their age.

Not all of them opted to have half their brains sucked out. tied behind their backs, just to make it fair

I don’t care who is what, but when nobody seems to know what they are- they’re just doing what seems cool on any given day- then I have to shake my head. I am pretty open and try not to judge.  but as a mom,  I’m finding this period of development among my childen’s peers as annoying.

Oh I'm with ya.  There was too much confusion and awkwardness finding oneself growing up years ago. but now there is even more.  I wish you luck as a parent.  These are times when I'm thankful I do not have children.  I think I would have a stroke sooner than later.  ;)

No, not stupid. Totally understandable
Frankly, I don't understand anyone in the LGBTQ community who would support Trump, either
BUT they exist

Munbeam, you truly get it

Anyone remotely considered gay got the living shit beaten outta them, back when I was in school. Times sure have changed.

I grew up in a very conservative home, being gay was a "sin", blah blah.  Personally, I don't really care who is what. As long as they're happy and not committing a crime. It's not my business.  I have told my kids that I wouldn't turn my back on them if they came and told me they were gay.  Right now, due to the confusion you've mentioned, I'm finding myself having to put my money where my mouth is, so to speak.

Yeah, I'd like to avoid a stroke. But the grey hairs are definitely there. :'(

So many people are getting gay.
It must be fun.

HW = Art IV
If it weren't for Heather's documentable past, and the age gap of something like 15 years, I would absolutely point a plausibility finger to it being a transgendered child.

I did too but we had a couple of sissy uncles as they were called and spinster aunts as they were called. Not really sure all the spinster aunts were actually related. One uncle is one of the first panels on the AIDS quilt.

The programming starts very early. It is a social agenda, not really about public health or looking after the kids. If anything screwing up such basic personal identity might cause mental problems, lack of judgment, vulnerable to abuse, and be able to be steered onto other political positions. And one wonders why young children, prepubescent or even teens even need to learn specific details about sex acts and varieties of sexual possibilities, gender swapping,  homosexuality, etc? I guess the excuse now is teach it in school otherwise internet porn and Hollyweird will be only 'teacher?'

I can't buy into that theory.

I don't think so.  Personally I've (and I suspect a lot of us have) gone to school with, or have known girls who look "boyish" and then grew out of it.  Just my 2 cents.  ;)

I think the talk of Heather being a tranny is a bit silly.

For the record, I didn't say HW was a tranny.  I'm saying whether boy or girl in the "Ericka" photo it's not HW unless she had facial surgery somewhere along the line.  I still think it's a boy with long hair.  Ericka graduated in 1992 per her page.  HW would have graduated in 1994 per her birth year of 1976.  So they were not classmates per se, but likely became friends later on in life.  So after fans clamoring for pics she probably had her friend post that for kicks, then all the zombies ran with it.  That's my theory.

Am I the only one here wondering what happens if you listen to the Art Of Talk while watching The Wizard Of Oz with the sound muted?

... backwards.

fuck this pansexual earth.

Honestly, this is kinda how I see it right now.. be it wrong or right. Each generation has become more open to accepting differences. To some, this is bad. To others, this is great. Regardless, now we have a bunch of kids (God love them) who believe that whatever they do, and whomever they want to be, is "all good".  But they don't all seem to know what they want to do (in life), nor do they know what they want to be.  So they're just running around dabbling in whatever they want to dabble in, and they'll have to figure out the consequences later. Be they good or bad.

My daughter comes home from school and tells me the craziest shit.  Life has become entirely too damn complicated.

I simply was referring to speculation 100 of pages ago. This place moves quick. And I'm willing to listen to almost any 'interesting' theory, as you know. Doesn't mean I buy them. But 'transitioning' and cross-dressing and gay or whatever is so trendy these days (or so the media proclaims, I think the official stats are far less than what Hollywood would have you believe.)
