Since you are on such a roll, could you find out what Noory said about Donna Reed and Shelly Fabares for me?

If it's after the opening comments, I won't be 'rolling'.  On the heels of the movie "American Sniper", the last whole Noory show I listened to was with a former sniper.  Noory equated his 'service' with the combat veterans'.  Sad.

Are there any photos of George Ralph Noory in a US Navy uniform?  Noory shows photos of himself and other photos of him with celebrities but none of him in military uniform.  With all the talk he does about his rank and service, where is even one photo.  If no photo, how about him even showing a redacted, but with his name on it, his form DD-214.  He often claims service in the US Navy but what proof is there he did?

This is the show opening from August 1 2018 the earliest opportunity after the release of the autopsy. Could you point out where in Noory's announcement he stated "illegal drugs"

I'll look into previous broadcast openings

Date? Guest?

I don't know the date of the release of Art's autopsy report.  Noory reported it at the earliest opportunity.  I don't know who the guest was that show as I only listen to the opening of the program.   As I said before, I listen in only to look for a sign of "end times"; when Noory can get through the opening of his show without  fumbling his words, it's time to run for the hills.  I'm on an island, so I'm screwed.

So, there were drugs in Art?  Was he poisoned?

It was mix of prescription pain meds.  Sadly it is not an uncommon problem these days.
We all know that Art had severe back pain for quite a while.

Noory stated “illegal” drugs.

When did he say Art died of substance abuse?  I never heard that.

When Arts' autopsy result was released.

He didn't mean slow the traveling and arrival of the storm.  He meant slow down the force of the storm, like to calm it.

How much can you expect from a guy who hasn't even retracted, "Sexy demons?  Send some!"  I wonder how that call to the dark side affected his personal life.  Demons take many forms, I think even thought forms.

He had stated that Art Bell died using "illegal drugs".  No retraction nor correction..

I seriously question the credibility of someone who claims nine years of service in the US Navy, an 'officer' no less, and doesn't know he difference between a Solder and a Marine.

Seems Noory wants to organize a mass consciousness experiment to slow down the Hurricane headed for Florida.  I only tune in hear the start of the show.  News broadcasts from other stations report that a slow storm would be a worst case scenario.  I seriously doubt that Noory would retract his comment.  He has spewed a lot of wrong sht without retracting the wrong information in the past.... The reason why I don't listen to a fool show of his anymore, except for the beginning.  No fail; always botches his 'presentation'.

Absolutely.  Before the 2nd break lately:

No fail on Noory being lame.

I occasionally listen to Noory’s opening comments just to hear him flub his words.  No fail; he does every time.  I figure if he would ever go through a show intro without botching something, it would be time to immediately put your end-times plan into effect.  I tune to another station after the intro and haven’t heard a fool show in a very long time.  Does he still lamely recite poetry?

I know it's warped, but he deserves some kind of award just for friggin endurance.  I mean he's been playing the long game man.  While all these other dramas have come and gone, Ol' Reliable just kept quietly marching along, showing up every nite, reading his goofy news, half-assing interviews, chit-chatting with Corny and the gang, selling his beets - while still having energy for weekend karaoke time.

I listen in on some week-day nights to the opening of the show, thinking I'll hear of some oddity that I didn't know about.  I chucked again when I heard Noory report that homes were killed in Hawaii.  I can't handle listening to this dufus so tune away after his opening.  Weekends, with the exception of the first Sunday of the month, are bliss, especially with Ian coming back on the air!

If there is an award to be awarded, it should be to you and the others on this forum that can handle listening to the dolt for more than an hour.  I'm sure there are a lot of great guests but I cant tolerate Noory "try to sound intelligent" comments and interjections.  The last full show I listened to was on the heels of the movie "American Sniper".  Noory's guest was a retired sniper and listening to Noory equate his service with the guests', I was sickened.

Other than his claim he had, Is there definitive proof that George Ralph Noory served in the U.S. Navy?

His birthday indicates that his draft number was called up but seems he avoided the draft.  He said his got out of the reserves right before his unit got called up to serve in the Gulf.  Again, is there any proof that Noory was in the US Navy?

But what about the Hawaii studio? Is it under lava?

The alleged studio is on the opposite side of the Island (West).

What exactly is Noorys definition of studio when mentioned on the show.  An actual broadcasting facility, a single room apartment, or a piece of furniture?  I've noticed in the past the guy really likes to embellish his 'accomplishments'.

I would think a noted broadcaster who boasts their military service would be proud to show their DD-214, sans their service number, to show their service.  So where is Noorys?  Probably lost as was his taped interview with Jimmy Hoffa right before Hoffa went missing.

I wish I took take a picture of the fish I caught the other week.  It was at least five feet long.  Too bad I lost grip of it when I was reaching for my camera.

Considering Noorys friends here in Hawaii, why didn't have any "baaaad" feelings forewarning this noteworthy eruption??

George Ralph Noory....
No need to send in the clown.  The Clown is already there.

How is it a rebroadcast of Art Bells show from twenty years ago be so much more interesting to listen to than listening to c2c on weekdays now?

RIP Art Bell.

Ha.  Earlier on tonight's show bad George reported that "New York" governor Chris Christie blamed the opioid epidemic on "over-prescribed doctors".

GNS
So I didn't hear wrong; congratulations to Christie on his new job.

Dave says his daughter has been flooded out of her town house in Missouri and is 'staying with us'. Us? Who is us?
Tuned in for a bit the other night and heard this comment too.  Seems the only personal relationship Noor has is with Tomm.  Are they roomies?

The last time I tuned in was around Veterans Day.  For someone who claims to have served nine years in the US Navy as an officer and doesn't know the difference between a Marine and a soldier, leaves me suspect if that person really served.

When is dipshlit going to find his own opening theme song?

With his navel (sic?) experience; perhaps the "McHale's Navy" theme song.  His clownish antics match the show.

Perhaps UFO Phil might do so.   Wonder how much Phil was paid for the Friday closing song?  A couple of hundred bucks and a lot of ego stroking?  Some years ago, Phil was on air and GN seemed to give him the brush-off.  Sad.

Yeah, in my defense I listen usually when mowing the lawn, working in the garage, or anywhere where loud noise occurs. An easy way to block those noises. And for the humor and perversity of his bumblings and odd obsessions and mumblings with death, mean babies, and what not. And crazy callers. The opposite of Art and other shows where one wants to focus on listening. OSOM is really good too because it involves some fumblings, especially technical, but they are endearing.

No need to defend yourself, I did the same.   In the past I'd tune in and listen for a while and tune away when GN would snort something stupid.  Too bad because the guest might be interesting but listening to dufus' comments would drive me away.

I tuned in less to C2C when the host of the show reported a name of a person found dead after the Boston bombing, somewhat linking it to the event.  He stated "you heard it hear first".  Turned out that person was a victim to suicide, totally unrelated to the bombing.  Wow, what a journalist GN is!!   Is he ever going to find the last interview tape with Hoffa he lost?  Apparently he doesn't go fishing, otherwise what stories we'd hear!

I tuned in one night some time ago and heard dippy speaking to a former sniper.  On the heels of the movie "American Sniper" being released, I listened in.  I was totally disgusted when Noory equated HIS "nine years" of service (in the Reserves) with the active duty service, in combat, with the former sniper.  If I remember correctly,  Noory said he did enough time.

Some time ago he lamented not staying in the Reserves until he was promoted to an 04 so he can call himself a Commander.  He claims himself as a FULL lieutenant, would he have called himself a LIGHT Commander if he did advance in rank?  I think not.  Is there any proof that he was in the US Navy?

How fortunate for him that he got out before the Gulf War.

Is Noory still dispensing medical advice or still having a baaaad feeling? I remember he said his bad feeling was somewhat relieved after the Boston bombing.

Last night's show, at least what I have heard thus far, is a good example of GNS. An interesting guest with a host who can barely string a sentence together, even when reading off the 3x5 cards. Inane questions, inability to even use basic math when formulating a hypothetical scenario, turning everything back to pet issues like "securing the grid," not understanding basic (like elementary school level) science, asking questions that already have been answered (hint: throw-away 3x5 card if the guest has already answered the question) and creepiness (at point stifling a laugh when the guest said "people drowning in their bathtub," turning Tommy's recent illness into personal speculations about what do they do with dead people on planes, etc.

Last nights' show?  Sounds like any show in the past.

I haven't listened to dumbass in a long while but see that he still practicing his same 'style'.

I didn't listen to any but the beginning of the show, but Noory actually plugged Art's show.  He said Art sends best wishes to Tommy (I am really not familiar with Tommy or his history), and that Art is now back with a show on the internet.

I think that's swell.  It's a nice gesture.  Maybe Dave has a split personality.  Maybe he's Dave sometimes and Jorge on others.

Noory just trying to tie his name into someone famous.  He might've misstepped in letting ignorant listeners that Art is back.  They might seek Art and be enlightened!

Noory has Salma Hayek on the phone after all but just for a few minutes, instead of as a first hour guest.
She is just promoting her new movie.
Noory is just trying to contact as many people as he can so he can claim they were a guest on the show.

Dressing up in costume and acting a fool really doesn't establish nor support credibility. The guy is truly a clown.

I am so glad that Art is back and am glad to pay my subscription; no way I'd pay to listen to clowns' dribble.

I salute all you regular posters that you can handle listening to Noory for a complete show.

I'll occasionally tune-in to C2C and when I do it doesn't take too long before Noory says or interjects something idiotic that prompts me to tune away.  His comment about why vampires live so long, as post by NoMoreNoory, proves so.

Thankfully, in my radio market,  I have other quality options to listen to.

What prompted my post here is because VA Secretary McDonald's claim that he was in "Special Forces" and Brian Williams claim of being shot down.

Several weeks ago I tuned in to C2C and listened in on a snipers' story.  This was the longest I stayed tuned in and listened to a Noory show in a long, long time.  If I recall correctly the sniper was in the Service for six years.  Noory responded that he served for nine and felt that was enough.

I'm wondering how does Noory have the nerve to equate his nine years in the Navy Reserves with someone who served on active duty and in combat.

Noory's draft number came up during the Vietnam era but he did not serve.  Check his birth date and the Selective Services site to confirm.

Noory claimed that his unit was called up to deploy in the initial Gulf War shortly after he got out of the Reserves.  Coincidence, Noory not being called up for duty with his draft number pulled and getting out of the Reserves before being deployed.

Noory doesn't believe in coincidence.    So where is Noory's DD-214?

Yeah, I'm shutting it off and switching to Ground Zero.

If I'm going to listen to dingbats all night they should at least be entertaining like Clyde.

Ditto here, though I don't agree with all that Clyde says, at least I know he means it and not just saying things to sound intelligent or to kiss ass.

A no Noory weekend is just a night away.  Nowadays it's the only time I listen to C2C at length.  I do admit that I often tune in to the opening of the show hoping that Art Bell would be there after the "Midnight Express" music played.  But not to be.

I listen in to the opening for entertainment to hear the inevitable train wreak that Noory spews.  Has Noory  ever gone past a couple of minutes of "reporting" without flubbing up words or directly misreporting facts?

Noory has no credibility.

Several retired military have told me that for someone to retire as a major is a pretty clear indicator that someone is basically useless.

Noory proudly proclaims himself as a "Full Lieutenant" when he "retired" from the Navy.  That rank would be a Captain in the Army, Air Force, and Marines.  A Captain in the Navy/Coast Guard would be a Colonel in the other services.  Noory can only wish he was a Captain in the Navy.

Some time ago, I remember Noory  saying he wished he stayed in longer in the Reserves so he could be promoted and could call himself Commander.

Noory's draft number was called up, check his birthday and the SSS.gov website to confirm.  Did Noory serve during the Vietnam War era?  By his own words, he just so happened to "retire" before his unit was sent to the Mid-East.  What a "lucky" guy.

He did mention his MOS some time ago.  I don't remember the number now but I looked it up and thought the position as a  public relations officer.

So exactly between what years did George Noory serve in the U.S. Navy?

Why is Dr. Morgus's Wikipedia entry longer than Noory's??

I haven't tuned in for a week-night  C2C show for a while but did so last night at the opening of the show.

Did I hear Noory report that  "the Dow rallying past seventeen thousand DOLLARS"?

The Dow closed at over 17,000 POINTS.

George Noory credibility ... Zero

Uh, this is a weird opening to his news segment.  A modern day Walter Winchell?

I didn't listen in last night  but thought I'd like to comment.

Arthur Godfrey perhaps?  Nice guy persona on air, but a fake off air.

Walter Winchell,   Noory's  hero and model of journalism?    Yeah, O.K. George.

BTW, Clyde Lewis was hospitalized several days ago but is on the air now.... I'm so glad I have other listening options on week-nights.  The best time to listen to C2C is on the weekends, especially Art Bell's SIT, even though he's being ripped-off by not getting any payment for his rebroadcasts.

D-Day.

I didn't listen to Noory on 6-6-2014.  Did he make patriotic comments about the service of those who gave their lives on that date?  Did he mention his nine years of service in the US Navy?

George Noory 's draft number was called up during the Vietnam War.  Noory's birthday was 06-04-1950.  What was his reason for not stepping up and answering the call of his country at that time??......   What was his reason for leaving the Naval Reserves just before deploying overseas??..

If true,  Noory was an officer in the US Navy Reserve.  He often claims to be a fool lieutenant and on an occasion said he wished he stayed in so he might've stepped up a rank and so be called  "Commander".  Wow!!

Yes,  naval  Noory is truly fool of ship.

In short, Noory earned the nickname "Dave" back when Bell had Dark Matter.  Somebody here wrote to a program director asking if they would be airing DM.  The director wrote back that they already have a late night program called Coast hosted by "Dave."  The fact was that a program director found Noory so memorable that he could not even be bothered to remember a name.  Some of us decided that Dave was a fitting name.  Possibly because Dave cannot be bothered to pronounce names properly, possibly because he is not memorable, possibly because Dave has few letters than Goeroge (taking a cue from the laziest host around I decided to take the shortcut and type fewer letters when making reference to the schmuck.)

At least that is how I recall it... Somebody may correct me on some of the points.

Could it be that someone wants to popularize the name of Dave to apply to the name of  George Noory  in order to deflect  a search engine's  queries into  George Noory 's actual name.

Wonder what the "Numbers Lady" would attribute the name Dave to in relation to Noory?

yeah they are finding some really old c2c shows now, never replayed before.
back then in 1994, most of Art's c2c shows were not paranormal since he did that on Sunday nights for his separate Dreamland program back then.
Art gradually started sneaking in more of the paranormal guests/topics during the week during the mid 1990s.

I've been listening to my old recordings of SIT and to hear Art comment and expound on President Clinton's actions or comments is more interesting than what Snooby has to say today.

I have to say that I don't listen to the weeknight 'host' of C2C on an extended basis.  Though I often tune in to opening of the farce, I find hearing Nooby struggling to read copy in front of him is annoying.

Could it be he only needs new reading glasses?  Probably not, as he proceeds into the show making inane interjections when a guest is speaking.  At that point, even though I was listening to an interesting guest, my dial would've been turned away to another station.

Noory claims a number of stations that carry 'his' show.  Do those numbers include repeater stations??

Most Ivory soap guests (99.44%) hadn't challenged Snooby on an inane comment he said.  There was one guest, can't recall who, tha asked if he (Noory) read his book.  Snooby stumbled a reply.

So has George been flooding the show with coverage of the Slenderman stabbing story or what? I have not listened in a long time but it does seem to have all the right elements such as the paranormal, children commiting acts of violence and kids being victimized. Any discussion of it?

Clyde Lewis has been all over this the past couple of nights.  It's fortunate that my radio market has Lewis and Nooby on at the same time.  Lewis' broadcast might not be "live" but Nooby's real-time broadcast is anything but alive.

Is Nooby still building his studio in Hawaii?  I'm wondering if the hang-up is if he's trying to negotiate electricity included into his lease.   With all his big talk about the studio, please don't tell me it's just a suite in a shopping mall.
