That sounds... original.
Iron Sky Teaser 2 - The First Footage

I know this isn't a web-site about good writing or perceptions
of what good writing is.

But that retort by Orange is about the funniest, most
well crafted sentences this child has read.

Makes me want to try this terseness thang. Dang! missed it.
Still verbose.

Excellent retort Orange. Just wanted you to know. Damn!

i just took a serious look at hoaglands website (and by "serious" i mean more than ten seconds).  i have never seen a more steamy pile of shit than this.

when you arrive at the site, as if it were 1998, the first thing you notice is the need to SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL SCROLL...

not to mention the dead links, out of date articles and references, and general ass-hattery.  hoagland's website made ME feel embarrassed FOR him.

Ha! Just when one thinks terseness is the best of humor!

Oh gawd! I almost pissed myself laughing at that post
Michael!

Not just a 'scroll, scroll' and ellipses! But an entire
paragraph of scrolls!

I just want to mention: I've been assiduously perviewing
this sites many different pages.  What an incredible
amount of stuff has been going on here!

Utterly amazing.

All smart-ass comments aside: I'm awed. r.

Good God Almighty!  :o

Is it just me or has Coast turned into a self-promoting forum for Dick C. Hoagie and his wacky wife, "Dr." Robin Falkov?  Tonight (5/31), Snoory ran through his usual pre-show news reporting schtick breaking in to personally speak to BOTH of these nuts!  The show might as well be divided equally between Snoory, Linda Moulton Foul, and the Hoagies.  Apparently, Snoory will endorse any product if the price is right as he's now touting the P90X fitness system.  His exact quote, "If I can do it, anyone can do it".  George Noory into P90X?  Has he totally LOST his mind?!?  This is truly a gem!

Seamus Capone

Hoagland complained about "fear porn". Griping about fear porn on Coast To Coast is like griping about greed at Goldman Sachs. Coast sells more "porn" than Hugh Hefner and Larry Flynt combined. It's even *less* tasteful than Screw. Noory played a long clip from NASA's retiring boss. He said that it's good to prepare for calamities and emergencies, as he just talked to the authorities about such things. I bet that George had an orgasm (doomgasm) when he first heard that clip, his dark imagination conjuring fantasies of asteroids destroying Earth. You just know that he immediately jumped to the worst possible conclusion.

That's a good alphabetical list of fear porn centerfolds, Art. My guess is that Miss November will be an asteroid.

You forgot 2012, George's favorite "go to" girl.

Stock up on E-Foods and Gold.

"its a cycle"  ... George Noory

I think he's neither. Although crazy as a shithouse rat, the man is sharp. It has to be a money and attention ploy and him grabbing on to whatever idiocy he may be able to apply hyperdimensional colon torsioning physics to and maybe spring a buck from a Barnum sucker along the way. I'm half concerned he's baiting for someone to get into a lawsuit with. He's a crafty doucher..has to be to maintain that solid hair helmet for the last half century. To Hell with the tinfoil hat, that crown probably deters radiation.
Anyways those are just thoughts. Hoagland totally sucks and i look forward to participating in this outstanding forum on many more occasions in the future. I have been cleaning up vomit for the last half hour after laughing my Noory off seeing an avatar of Noory and Hoagland in a very nude, very gay pose.

Usagi

Welcome General Johnson!

And, your avatar looks like Hoagland's yelling at me to make him a sammich.  *swoon*

Does anyone have any references regarding Hoagland claiming we went to Iraq because of an extra-terrestrial connection to Saddam?

Morgus

Don't recall that by Hoagland.
However another frequent c2c guest, William Henry, often speculated about buried ancient stargates in Iraq that Sadaam was trying to activate!

I think he activated one at his execution.  As the lever was pulled his feet fell through the open gate and he saw stars.

And just BEFORE the lever was pulled, he screamed "Go to Hell!"  Hmm . . . wonder where the activated stargate goes?

could be a BLACK HOLE!  ;D

I also can substantiate your claims on Hoagland mentioning fear porn. He was quite serious about fear porn, and went on to relate how fear porn was responsible for the Hale-Bopp comet hoax and subsequent suicides..then Hoagland went on to talk about how comet Elenin approaching Earth presently is actually a UFO.
What in THE fuck???

It's not electricity or gravity that binds the universe. It's irony. Hoagland's comment proves it. Let's hope that no one starts an Elenin cult.

Amen, and don't forget that most of C2C's advertising is fear based, too. Buy gold because the dollar is going to be worthless. Buy a crank-powered radio for weather emergencies. Buy storable food in anticipation of catastrophic events.

And an "amen" to you. You often can judge a show by its sponsors, and Coast's ads speak volumes on the mood and tone of the show. Brother Michael Dimond's ads spread their own kind of fear too. Join his "seddy" sect, or miss the chance to go to Heaven.

Gassy Man

AM Talk is basically aimed at conservatives, who traffic in fear.  Add to that the assumption that the topics on Coast appeal to a "fringe" population and things make sense.  But the funny thing is I find the fear porn topics to be the least interesting . . . while the ones that offer hope in some form or another far, far more engaging . . . and I'm not talking about some fantasy hope of some long-forgotten alien race returning to Earth or something but the ones that suggest things like the plausibility of life after death or that in spite of economic hardships things will turn a good corner.

I do think that George spends way too much time babbling about 1960s era fears . . . somebody mentions something about Russians and here comes George spouting off some warning about weapons of mass destruction.  I'd like to hear him take a big step into the 20th century and talk about the things that are more likely, like our businesses and politicians screwing us  because borders don't really exist any more.

Doesn't Facebook have a 5,000 limit?

....George Noory sucks and Hoagland too.  Turning on an audiobook and turning off the radio...

Replace the comma with a decimal point and you'll likely be closer to the truth.
