Radio and Podcasts / Re: Art Bell Quits Coast
February 02, 2013, 01:43:11 AM
The Bigfoot Brigade and Paranormal Society of Pahrump Nevada has just report in.  A siting has been confirmed of a large figure with huge eyes, with binoculars around their neck, straining to catch the site of a moving Bell.  This is not Dreamland.

Report live Sunday night with Knapp back from vacation, and Ms. Howe will report on the high strangeness next month on her monthly appearance on Coast.

Stay tuned updates on the Crypto will be posted as verified.

Lest we omit this important jounalistic angle, imput from T-Bird on the Dreamland site is valued.

It is probably really a buzz with self-induced conversations and remarks.  Ah, loser, Ah, loser. . .

The Ah is for the information about Art Bell, loser is for his tourequettes obsessive compulisive disorder, loser, loser, loser. ..

Here is one point I have not heard mentioned regarding drugs and guns, and I feel should be looked into.  It is a subsidiary issue but hits on some points that I have just read.  I did not hear the show last evening, however, I have listened to George's guest that advocates less prescriping of anti-depressants.

The point that I wanted to make is that talk therapy is not readily available on the level it needs to be.  Funding should be increased, and indirectly, this should be looked into as we have the gun debate.  I do agree that often the answer is just to medicate.   Talk therapy as a support method of treatment could shorten the time on meds or not require the prescribtion of meds at all.

The problem that I have seen, first, if you are in a rural area, the only counselors available may be through a regional center with branches in the neighboring communities.  Often, it is difficult to get an appointment because of shortage of staff.  You may get into see someone once a month at most, and often it may be longer.  Usually their calendars are filled with patients who are court ordered to get counseling either in social service matters or through drug court.    I know seeing a counselor once a month is better than nothing, but if you are truly in crisis, it is not.

Secondly, there are private counselors, but if you do not have health insurance, or have the income to hire them, they may not be an option.   Really, to see someone as often as you need to in times of depression, stress, or extreme anxiety, you need to have the one on one couseling more often.

Third, I doubt, it but Obama care may cover counseling.  Actually, it could be considered a preventative measure as increased stress leads to heart disease, a tendency to overinduldge in alcholism and many other increased health risks.  The funding would have additional paybacks as more couselors are hired, the cost of health risks may decrease and the increased spending by those employed in the counseling field would add financial stimulus to the economy.

I write that this may not have been addressed in the gun debates, I have not researched this, but I have not heard it discussed on the news channels.  It is a point I am making and one that is somewhat in this topic.

I have more arguments and even work with clients that have this problem, so I am knowledgable first hand on this.

I may be cutting into the middle of the discussion, but I just saw the news flash across the News Channel that Obama just signed in the gun control laws through 23 Executive Orders.  I hope I am NOT reading that correctly.

First, the use of an Executive Order in this matter is an abuse of the powers of the Executive Office.  That is not a comment against the president, I would view it so in the case of anyone who did that.

We have a three-party government, and that should have been used for the gun control issue.  Instead, we have a ceremonious signing of the opinion without the debate our country was founded on.  I know this is not the first time that Executive Orders have been used by this White House questionably, but to me these were not such fundamental rights of our country.  Gun control and the right to bear arms is under the Second Amendment is.   To have our constitutional right impeded and stripped by the White House with a single stroke of a pen is a smirking of our constitutional rights and the respect they deserve.

I am not a gun owner, but I am an extremely strong advocate for the law and especially the Constitutional law.  I think the law is being trampled on and appropriate inquiries and actions taken.  No, I am not suggesting anything violent, but there are ways through the vote, court, peaceable demonstrations, letter writing and so forth.  As George would state, this post is just my "gut reaction" to what I read run across the screen.  I will need to do further research and contemplation as to what I will do as a private citizen.

If what I read was untrue, well, you just got my thoughts on our rights.  Get on it Coast, the use of the Excecutive Order to dilute and impede our Constituional rights may have been explored or touched upon.  I think it needs to be reported on again and openly, truly and honestly without fright.  However, even writing about it reasonably, I must admit, is a scary and frigtening topic.

Pre-party is over.  For the cake, a hot pizza roll with icing was rolled in.  Out jumped a hot young thing.  Life is good  after 10 years.  Oh yeah, the hot young thing was of legal age.

Politics / Re: Piers Morgan and gun control
December 31, 2012, 09:57:14 AM
I have been reading this thread with great interest, and some good points have been made.

First, guns don't fire themselves, people do.  Responsiblility to carry or use any weapon is paramount.  I support the right to carry, although I personally do not own or possess guns, but if someone chooses they have that right.  Guns for self-defense, hunting, collecting or sport are fine, but they must be regulated.  What stirs me is that in a blitz like this to address the situation society does not look at it completelly objectively but swings to the opposite extreme.

The school shooting was tragic and I do not feel like teachers should carry.  However, security guards are in some schools now, and I do not see an issue with that if the school system chooses that.  Also, a safety plan acknowledging this as a threat that has happened should be considered.  It has happened.  The teachers and administration should have a well-thought plan as to address this threat should be made a part of teacher training.   How should they react?  What should be done?  It may need to be discussed in the classroom, grade appropriate.  This is not to encourage this, but to teach gun responsibilty and respect for their use.   Select administation may need to have guns in a safe and be trained with the hours needed to use the gun.  I condone teacher carrying any guns on themselves and that is a tactic that should not be considered.

The point is that our country was founded on a heritage of gun usage. Tighter regulation as to who owns and carries is the answer, along with proper training and permitting is the answer not confiscation.

George's mother was sweet and loving and, as mothers are wont to do, able to make everything better.  Thus, and in accordance and conjunction with the spirit of peace, George's interview with Santa (Sal Lizard) was brilliant; his open lines, heartwarming; and I was genuinely moved by Fanthorpe's recorded rendition of Clement Clark Moore classic.

Merry Christmas coastgabbers...

Angelically, I agree whole heartedly with your comments and observations.  George delivered a poignant and inspirational performance last evening.  But that is only the beginning tonight promises to be even more merry and blithesome.  Tune in tonight at Midnite Central Standard Time for Christmas Night with Noory. ~'~ ~'~~'~. . . .

First, someone please get that guy in the icon a haircut and a comb.

Everytime I see him on Ancient Aliens I want to scream " comb your hair ".

And the guy who was going to jump and then said he was NOT going to jump in Sedona Arizona was Peter Gersten.

Leap of Faith 2012 (almost here!)

It came to me in a vision today.  I have received the signs of the Mayan symbolism.  If you lay Mr. Georgio T. flat in the middle of a Mayan ruin and spread his hair out all around his face, like brush it out straight surrounding his head in a circle, it bears an uncanny resemblance to the Mayan calendar.
You want proof!  Take a pic.  Then blurr it just a bit and compare.  Bizarre, truly bizarre!

It makes you feel special when they debunk you doesn't it?  L.A. Marzulli debunked one of my articles on his website last spring.  He did it in a very literary way.  When I write or research, I like to get ideas and explore them, and then write.  It is done in an exploratory manner such as, could this be, I find this interesting.    He did not attack me, just the article's belief.  That is fine with me just as long as I am not persecuted.

ahhh laughter to tears... gotta love the added farts that totally did it for me!How could you have not known of the elusive pizza roll?  They've been a chinese store staple forever and with the rise of the hotpocket were blasted into the mainstream super market shelves.  I must admit I can't remember the last time I actually bought hot pockets or pizza rolls.  Hot pockets although they are good are also very expensive.  These products normally contain sub-par cheese and sauce.  I learned long ago that I can easily get my pizza itch scratched merely by snagging some mozzarella and almost any basil flavored sauce.  My frozen food isle indulgence is by far HANDS DOWN the many brands of hot n spicy burritos.

I love how you "purchased a small quantity" like they were crack vials or ganja.

Really you have to put some kind of disclaimer on that video.  I do not have use of a computer today, I am out of town, so I am checking e-mails and so forth at a library.  I had earphones, but I started laughing so loud the librarian walked up to me with a finger on her mouth, such as shhhhh!   I shared.  She laughed too.  I am crying and laughing so hard, I am a good candidate for cpr.

I have just gone down the list and checked it twice.  Every attendee who signs up for the new show will receive a Bobble-Headed Noory Doll.

Also, every hater will receive one, too, a Bobble-Headed Noory Doll.  The difference is that his red eyes glow in the dark, and comes with accessories.  They are a sample of tumeric, a tuning fork to beat your table with, a blow-up dog with doggie treats, and a pitchfork.  The pitchfork is magnetic  to go in his claw hand and glows red in the dark to match the red eyes.

For all of his ladyfriends, he is shipping out by the truck loads a Bobble-Headed Noory Doll, and the lifesize stuffed Noory with a moustache with at least one original Noory hair in it off of his chest.  These were tested for DNA accuracy, and come with a certificate of authenticity.

There that ought to do it for at least the beginning of George's Christmas list.

I was thinking the exact same thing.  That's definitely the "sophie the soothsayer" set.  This doesn't have to be that bad.  Once again George has surrounded himself with incompetent fools.  This could work if he ditched the set and the audience and went the way of Charlie Rose.  Black background, minimal lighting, and a nice wooden table.  This would accentuate the guest and make it more intimate.  It wouldn't be a bad thing to see some of these yokels that George parades through c2c.
I've been on somewhat of a sabbatical here lately.  Listening to George had turned my mind to mush.  I went to the mush mind doctor and I think I'm felling better, but I've got to limit my exposure to this idiot.

perhaps...

You are back!  So glad to see you posting again.  You serve a great service here.  There are many talented posters, but you excel in one area, and remain unmatched.  You are a trooper.  How I mean that is night after night for many months, you would listen to the show and comment on the show like none other.  I looked for those summaries on the nights I could not be valient and remain aboard until four.  You, as I remember would usually listen until the sounds of the closing flutes.

The terms "withering in pain" is a quaint, descriptive Midwestern colloquism specific to the region in which Mr. Noory lives.

As for his comedic strength:

I joined ancestry.dom and I learned that my great-great grandfather was a radio announcer named, get this, Paul Harvey.

He would have news stories such as this, And now here is the rest of the story.  It seems he was quite famous, so to honor my great-great grandfather, I will try my hand at it.  Radio-jounalism may run in the family.

Applying it to Totinero's with a ~ on the r.  On Monday night George was tired and delusional.  Instead of going into the Hollywood Boulevard Seven-Eleven.  He turned the wrong way on Ventura Boulevard and found himself at an unidentified Siete/Uno-Uno, or as we call them in Beverly Hills Seven/Eleven.  Little did he know that the Siete/Uno-Uno was owned by the Mexican syndicate that has roots in San Cabos, Mexico.  A syndicate secret to distress their victims is to sale defective products with Mexican addresses that do not exist.  That way if they are sued in product liablity actions, they can not be served as there is no physical address or person.

One of the product that the San Cabos syndicate produces is Totinero's with a ~ on the r pizza rolls, or as they are advertised on the label, taco rolls.   If you cannot read, then you would not catch this.  To fool their victims instead of showing pictures of pizza tacos, they show the internationally famous pizza rolls, but in reality they are pizza tacos, with extra-extra hot sauce, plus they are made not to cook properly in the microwave.  Our secret chef tested them to see.

The pizza rolls that George purchased were San Cabos syndicate produced pizza tacos.  Using DNA from the saliva on the pizza taco, slobbers from George's moustache the Calfornia secret secuity has begun an investigation.  The results released at 2:00 p.m. Pacific time on the steps of the Wishire show that definately there is a San Cabos connection and the pizza tacos have been traced back to an old beaten old van, that when California secret security as undercover informants, attempted to obtain a ride in, did not have any door handles.  They were entertained with a tale about some American hombre with an intense black moustache that matched his eyes who got in the van last winter.  Almost a year ago the story began.  .. .He demanded to get out. .. and paid them a thousand dollars, the best tip the driver ever received.  He had a companion with him who he referred to as Tomas.

It was found by informants that the rickety van was a transporter for Tortinero with a ~ on the n to Siete Uno/Uno stores in the Los Angeles area.   The driver as he was hauled away muttered his only words in English over and over. . .There are no coincidences, there are no coincidences. .  .

And that is the rest of the story. . . I hope I did my great-great grandfather proud.

Angel Harvey.

Does it automaticly get disqualified if we mention Art's name?

No, not at all.  I would also write that you can use the current host's name, but I just did not want a duplicate on this of the George, you know what thread.

There are many rants and raves there.  It might be about Coast, or a subject unrelated about Coast.   Whatever, just what would you like to voice, that you would say in front of millions and millions of people.   For example, a Rant and Rave about Doom and Gloom subjects or too many angel topics.  You might not like the way a subject is presented.  You might prefer one host over the other.  I was thinking just no frontal attacks, since there are other places that expessions are written.

I did not want to suppress innovation.

Let me digress for a sentence, please.  Gobble!! Gobble!! Happy Thanksgiving To Everyone.

Now, every Wednesday evening Coast to Coast is playing a recorded Sound Off by a selected Coast listener.  You write your Sound Off.  E-mail it to a certain producer.  If he or staff like it you may be selected to be taped reciting your Sound Off on a Wednesday night show.

I read often on this sight and there are some very spirited writers.  I thought maybe Coast Gab could do a service for Coast (humor).  If a member of the website feels very inspired about a subject, this is the thread they, can Rant and Rave, Sound Off and just record it here.  You may not be comfortable sending e-mails to anonymous e-mail locations, Coast.

Here is my motivation for this.  Since members here are sooooo intelligent and well-written.  The producers or staff can just read here and select the Sound Off.  It saves steps.   They do not have to go through hundreds and hundreds of drunk and delusional Coast listeners, who compose their Sound-Off on cocktail napkins and 3:00 a.m. in the morning, or on roll your own cigarette (yeah) wrappers.  Those folks then just type the e-mails off of those napkins or butts the next morning.  That does not make for good e-mail reads.

There is one rule however.  The Rant and Rave i.e. Coast Sound-Off cannot be directly negative about Noory.  There are special places for those.  You know where!  Anything else goes!

Thank Yew! (With special reflection)

Don't despair and die, there is still Little Debbie.  I have always personally considered a knock-off the Hostess.  Go check it out yourself, Suzy Q's seperated at birth, and even a twinkee twin.

With her preservatives, it is almost like an embalmed breakfast treat.  Little Debbie will never depart.

Color coordination is very important to me.  Did he mention the decor, and if he did was the primary focal point green, or were the aparment or condos, reasonable minds will differ, done in earth tones?

Look for the new tabletop decorating manual "Spirited and Curious Mars Inspired Condo and Apartment Dwelling Decorating with Special Layout and Decorating Tips from Richard and Mike."
To be released on Amazon on December 21. 2012.  They are already booked for their press campaign on Beyond Belief.
