Thank you, Up All Night.  I was going to look for a map, like this, to post.

Up All Night

Ikaika Marzo from Pahoa, HI has taken some amazing (sometimes long) videos of the fissure eruptions and posted them to his Facebook Account. Be sure to click the video setting in FB to give you the HD stream!!!

For some reason the FB Hot Links appear in preview but not when I Save....

Thank you again, Up All Night.  I'm glad I'm not the only one following this event.  It's a pretty big deal.

Glad you're interested StarrMountain. Hawaii tourism is taking a hit over this. The Vog can sometimes even make it's way to Oahu, depending on prevailing winds.

People have lost houses and all, but I heard about a particularity awful event. A couple in their 50's or so had their 80 year old mother move from the mainland to live in Leilani Estates in her own home there last month. But one of the fissure's lava burned her new home, with all her possessions from 80 years in it, still mostly in boxes. She made it out alive though.

Yes.  I heard about that too.  Very heart-breaking.  But, mom is alive.
