In days gone by, and I don't want to expand on this here, I was on CNN and HLN on a semi-regular basis as a so-called guest expert. I saw what went on there when preparing the "news" shows I was invited to be on, and not only could I not believe most of what they were putting out, I sometimes wondered how accurate what I was saying was since they gave me the preparation materials! The host I was on with most often really liked that I went outside their materials for my references when trying to ground my comments... but ultimately it was all showbiz. I don't do that stuff any more, thank goodness. LOL.

It’s always something. There’s a guy who recently died, who hosted an afternoon show on local talk radio for years. Every day, just about every caller wished him a happy birthday. I thought it was old, but for years, almost every caller did it.

Good choice, PG. I thank Windows 10 for getting me to finally make the change-over to Linux. (Windows 8 helped immensely too.) Haven't looked back.

I'm liking it but having an issue that makes the touchpad stop working. I think I have the fix for it now though.
