The dragging out of Heater on his "test" MITD as some sort of co-host was one of the clues, plus his so-called problems with MITD before he even started the show.  I remember listening to the joint Bell and Heater show and wondering WTF is up with this.  He would have rolled in Heater earlier as the full time host if it hadn't been such a bomb.  Bell figured what the hell and built up the subscriber base for Heater for a few months before he finally dropped the Heater bomb in December of 2015 and launched into his final quittening.

Whatever George's faults (bad host, petty af) he is a family man and he shows up for his job. NOW I understand the animosity he had for Art. Art was everything he's not. Vincent could get his feet wet in podcasting and he'd be a HUGE draw as Art's son. Plus he has a great voice and he sounds like a grounded, smart, person. He'd also be a huge selling point to C Crane and all of Art's buddies who advertised with his show. Do it Keef. Free $$$ Vincent IS the legacy.

I think Art had an ax to grind with Coast but didn't want to host the show for long.  He'd build up listeners for a few months then hand the show to Heather who he thought wouldn't run the show into the ground. Yes, it was pre-planned that Heather would take over.

I caught a lot of Philly in his voice, I didn't get very much Art out of it.  His love of books/reading is a plus.  The better read you are, the more insightful a person you can possibly be.

I'd like to see Dark Matter do some more commercial material.  Even a tech show with Leo Laporte Jr, a music show with Paul McCartney Jr....  OK, facetiousness aside, a half hour of movie reviews and a half hour of this week in tech on a Sunday evening before a replay of a couple of Dave's more popular interviews from the week would be wonderful.  Even replays of Dave's True Crime stuff would be a nice programming choice.  Heck, even Mike Drudge had a Sunday show.  Knowing Keith's political leanings, Laura Loomer might be a logical choice for him.  She's been on the case of the Vegas shooting cover up and other conspiratorial things that might fly on Dark Matter.
