Now, I've seen this shit before--I'm no scrub--but this collection of images is notable in that they are:

https://ralphmirebs.livejournal.com/219949.html

A) excruciatingly high-res. brb, I'm going to go load this page on my WebTV, back in 33 days;
B) I actually did not know that there was not merely one Soviet clone space shuttle, but three;
C) "The first rule in government spending--why build one, when you can have two, at twice the price?"

And this one can be kept secret.

Cool pics, thanks.

Don't forget they also built the largest plane ever made to fly it on.

Evidence of systematic corporate looting.

It's actually evidence of the inherent limitations and eventual failure of a centrally planned economy.

The corporate looting at the transition of the USSR to the Russian Federation was pure mafioso gangsterism built on the underground connections and cronyism required to get a leg up in the previous soviet system.

See, right there, I agree with you. That wasn't so hard now was it?

With a stunt like that, I don't think you have any ground to stand on when it comes to judging ethics.

True story. There were actually whole bunkers where the general would just decide "alright, now this equipment belongs to me."

Which is how a lot of that stuff made it to the terror market.

I don't know how some people confuse that with "corporate" looting. Mbut they'll just edit the quoted text to suit their needs.

The United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics were both corporations.

Thanks for playing. I'll let someone else judge your performance.
