Okay okay, let's break this down shall we and add some context. Trump inherited falling unemployment, and a rising economy that started in 2009 after the crash in 2007/2008. 

If Mickey Mouse had been elected POTUS it would be difficult to make that go in reverse in 2016. The economic and employment graph had fuck all to do with Trump in 2016. When you only put the last ten bricks in a wall and claim you built it it's disingenuous without giving credit to those who got it that far.

I can tell you for a fact with experience of both sides of the pond there are far more petty laws and restrictions in Sacramento than anywhere in the UK. Want to change a window on your house in Britain? Go ahead as long as it isn't a Grade 1 or 2 listed building and subject to historical national interest..in Sac? Forget it unless you want to pay for a permit, have a suit come out, sign it off in triplicate, then come back to make sure it's correct. You need permits for nearly everything.

Those are some good points.  It doesn't surprise me that California has more petty laws than Britain.  I was mainly talking about people having the right to protect themselves and their property. It seems like that right was paramount as a result of the Glorious Revolution and you have basically surrendered that right.
