It would seem that a billionaire and his wife bent on suicide would choose a much more elegant and less painful way of offing themselves than hanging themselves with a belt.  He’s a pharmaceutical mogul FFS.  Do you suppose he might have access to drugs commonly used for such purposes?  I’m thinking yes.

In fairness, the detective who is on the case says she doesn't know where the story of a murder suicide came from, as far as they were concerned they hadn't established any cause, motive etc..

I don't deny human trafficking goes on. In Europe its mainly conducted by Russian and other East European gangs.. But why do you take someone's word on faith that just coincides with it being said against someone you don't like? I don't know how it works in the US with investigations of such crimes, but in the UK, the police usually work on intelligence gathering, often over months and months to establish the routes, the methods and who the victims are and the criminal gangs involved. To my knowledge there hasn't been a case whereby the crime(s) were going on at a venue, and someone with a list of all the players and gory details put it on twitter but then didn't back it up with having been to the police first. Maybe its an American thing?

The interesting thing about this crock of shit is that even that great font of knowledge, Fox News put the story out when it originally came out and withdrew it the following day saying there was no truth in it!

Yeah a big change post-Soviet Bloc and especially after the Balkan Wars. Not that I would know but the population/type in places even where legal changed very quickly.
