I met Brad Delp, he lived next door to a friend of mine.  He was a really nice guy.  It was a shame he decided to take an eternal barbecue into the sky.

Wow... that's interesting.  He sure was one hell of a singer.  He and Scholz WERE Boston.  I saw them in their first concert tour, way back in '77.  Tremendous.  I saw the current incarnation of Boston several years ago and left early.  Just not anywhere close to the same, even with Scholz.

Very cool! I still can't figure out why out of all the ways to do yourself in, he chose two hibachi's in the bathroom. ALIENS!

An interesting film  that had different 'cuts' for theatrical release, tv, and paid-tv versions- for 'time', music rights, and other issues- I guess?

There are literally 3-4 different versions of Superman II

Another great Nick Drake album, but my favorite is still "Five Leaves Left".  If you like Drake, you might want to listen to Clifford T Ward.  Ward was a contemporary (early 70s) of Drake, another UK singer-songerwriter whose music was more appreciated after his death.  Ward's music wasn't as melancholy Drake's, but had a similar feel.

This band is a later love of mine.  Sleaziest band ever .  I'll pick this album because it is pretty representative of everything I love about them.
