I really liked the answer about sending a neutral person with a video camera, BUT these days people do not believe any pictures or video of UFOs or Bigfoot or for that matter that we went to the Moon.

Art

I think we should send Richard C Hoagland. Whatever he reports we will know the exact opposite is true.

In my opinion podcasting is the perfect medium for Art.  If his back is acting up and he needs a few nights off there will be no corporate masters leaning on him and looking for to replace him.  This allows anyone to play the young mans game at his leisure.  Lets face it when we reach 70 who isn't going to want to work on his/her own terms.

I think podcasting will help the overall quality of the show as well.  No network telling him what he can and can't do, or how many commercials he has to play in an hour.  These interviews are going to be more fluid and less chopped up by commercials so no 5 mins of backpedaling every half hour.  I really liked the Sirius Darkmatter shows, there were less commercials and it made for a better experience.

Art isn't going to gain his audience back overnight but I think he'll probably have a loyal following that listens live but I think where he is going to really shine is where his shows are downloaded.  I also think that is where he is going to make the most money from this venture. I think it will be something like Marc Maron with the WTF Podcast and X number of previous shows will be free then he'll have some sort of premium system where you get high quality audio and access to the full archive and some exclusive content.

IF someone at Premiere had some acorns they'd be 86ing George and 73ing Art, weekending Mr. Knapp, and making all right with the nighttime radio world again. Art is a big enough dude to accept their sincere apologies for being dikweeds.

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one

Premier can apologize to Art all they want. That doesn't mean that 6 months down the road they aren't going to screw him over again.  I think that Art moving to an Internet only platform is a good move.  I mean when is the last time that you actually tuned a radio in to listen to C2C.  Making all of the content that he generates available at a small price per month is also a stellar move, you can listen to Art whenever you want wherever you want (in stereo) it's the way of the future my friend, AM radio is winding down folks.

My brother has lived there for 25 years and has been stabbed twice and beaten up several times. This makes me reluctant but I also realize the my brother's winning personality played a big part.

You should move to Newport! 10 out of 10 would get stabbed again!!!

I hit up Art Bell on Echo Link (radio over internet) on a Ham Radio repeater in the Kingdom of Nye.  I could barely contain myself even though the conversation was slightly underwhelming (but let's face it when you build this moment up for years in your head it's hard to have the experience live up to expectations.)  He is one of my idols and I do feel very lucky to have had a bit of his undivided attention.

I think the real problem is that when someone was whipping up a batch of C2C they accidentally poured the whole bottle of pseudo-science instead of just a dash.  Analogous to this would be the quirky college professor who teaches a modern conspiracies class and starts to believe the crap he is teaching.  Slowly people are going to stop registering for the class the crazier he gets.

Now on topic I really like Rob Simone he has a a great voice for radio unlike snoory and he seems to ask the right questions of the guests.  As other people have mentioned previously he is one of the only hosts that doesn't cause me to turn the radio off.

hopefully this post generates some nice google ads.

The only thing I see are adds for Google plus and conspiracy theorist adds like "what will you do with you financials if Obama is elected for a second term.

I mean he is a pretty cool guy. We chatted about his love of Asian culture and firearms.  Although it's not his passion he does like to shoot and we talked a bit about our AK 47's it was grand.  I don't want to impose myself on him as he is a private citizen and I can only imagine how many fan boys like myself call him up on the radio.

Alex Jones got mad at fruitflies today (and probably his staff).

on the wednesday 15th of Feb. he was just talking about something when apparently a fruitfly landed on his face, which made him tell the staff to "play some music" followed by shouting "I'M NOT DEALING WITH THIS ANYMORE! <inaudible>"

really funny... maybe some1 can get the video off his prisonplanet.tv site - I think he got a 15 day free trial there but Im too lazy to do it.

I think during his live radio show on Tuesday a mike was left open and shouting could be heard under the freeze dried food and miracle vitamin commercials.

Sitting in total silence, imagining C2C still had an engaging interviewer, decent guests and interesting subjects is always an option.

I'd give it a shot...but the voices in my head("internal dialogue") don't allow for any silent moments.

Art had to deal with the same terrible subject material on occasion too, but Art was always great leading the guests into interesting areas.  Case in point is Richard C. Hoagland.

^^^^ I don't think a bottle of Ruffies could get a woman through a date with the Noordster.

I have a feeling this pickup line is how George gets women back to his place.

If it was -- HEY ART!!  ;D :-*

But I'm still standing back, waiting.....

You've been hanging out with Eddie too much the New England Skepticism has been transferred by osmosis.

last time around, even if the UK would have allowed it, I'm not sure the US would have. Scotland used to be a hotbed of socialism/commie-ism. That's pretty much dead these days.

Yeah, that sounds a bit alex jones, doesn't it? Which leads me to my next musing...
Are american states 'technically' allowed to leave the union? I don't particularly think that would be a good idea, I just think it would be fun to watch them try.

Well we actually fought the civil war over that very question.  A good deal of people think that it. Was to free the slaves but unfortunately that was not the north's true motives.  Anyway the result of the civil war was a stronger federal government and the ability for states to succeed from the union was nullified.

An interesting note is pre-civil war the USA was referred to as "these united states" after the civil war it was referred to as "the united states"

I think if the people Scotland want to be independent of the UK more power to them.  I wouldn't want to be saddled with that bloated, wheezing mess that passes for a government across the pond.

I have detoxed from Coast to Coast for about 2-3 months now. The most I've listened is 2-3 minutes and it has been so disappointing. The guests aren't worth it to me anymore. Even when they're good guests, George Noory ruins the potential for a good guest to transmit good or interesting information.

Yeah coast to coast is like Heroin too much of it and you'll be throwing up all morning.

A mock execution is needed as well.

Mock execution, don't you think that is a little mild.

Cool pics, it seems like you have something promising, but this forum is less about the paranormal and more about doing our damndest to be sued for libel by George Noory.  Don't take this as being unappreciative of the photos you've taken, but if you're looking for a serious review you may want to find a paranormal forum as they are less likely to troll you.
