Australian media's take on who will be running against Trump:

Donald Trump's likely challengers in the 2020 US presidential election
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-01-04/donald-trump-challengers-in-2020-us-presidential-election/10678614

QuoteMr Biden has had two previously unsuccessful attempts at the presidency â€" in 1988 and 2008.

It's important to remember that although Senator Sanders has sought Democratic nominations, he is actually an independent.

The former secretary of state and the Democrats nominee at the last election isn't being seriously talked about as a contender.

Mr Trump mockingly refers to Senator Warren as "Pocahontas" because of her claim to Native American ancestry.

She has been spending big on social media advertising and, in a classic sign of an impending presidential run, is about to release a memoir.

Housing secretary under Mr Obama, Julian Castro has also already formed an exploratory committee in preparation for a potential 2020 run and is expected to confirm next week whether he will proceed.

Michael Bloomberg has been both a Republican and Democrat but has recently re-registered as a Democrat and says that is the party he will run for if he is to chase the presidency.

Kirsten Gillibrand, a senator from New York and former lawyer, is being touted as a contender but may be on the outer with some influential Democrats after she said Bill Clinton should have resigned over the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

African-American senator Cory Booker from New Jersey has delivered some major speeches recently

Beto O'Rourke could also be a challenger after making a name for himself when he almost pulled off a stunning defeat of Texas senator Ted Cruz i

Ms Obama has repeatedly said she has no intentions of running for president.

Ohio Governor John Kasich, a vocal Trump opponent and the last standing challenger to Mr Trump in 2016, is one name that often comes up in talk of other Republican contenders.

Your lapdog media is almost as servile as ours.

Bet on Beto and Biden and watch the charisma train crash into the ghost of RFK and BURN!!!

I see that the Australian news media continue to emphasize the negative where Trump is concerned.
My wife and I where in Brisbane during the 2016 election.  I could not believe how hostile the Australian MSM was towards Trump in the days leading up to the election and how shocked and appalled they were when he won.  Must take their lead from U.S. corporate media.

They do, and I think that's partly because a lot of people seem to forget that Australia isn't part of the US (see: all the Australians acting as though their opinion around the 2016 election mattered). Their hostility towards Trump has nothing on their hostility towards Tony Abbott though.

The ABC (which sadly is our best news media outlet) in theory is meant to be unbiased as they receive government funding, but they sure don't seem that way. They circle the wagons and cry bloody murder when there's any attempts to rectify it - good example of this last year was during an election one of their programs called a politician a cunt. The fence has hardly solved Israel’s problems with Gaza. Hamas has developed rockets and tunnels to bypass the barrier, and Israel has fought three wars there in the past decade.

So your thesis is Mejico is going to shoot rockets at us and we'll have to repeat the Punitive Campaign?

You really may be every bit as stupid as you present.

The Great Wall, really? Remember Genghis Khan?

https://www.quora.com/How-did-Genghis-Khan-breach-Chinas-great-wall-to-conquer-North-China

During the age of Genghis Khan, the wall had fallen into disrepair. Large parts were either no longer being used or maintained, and there was famously a huge gap in the center of the wall, in inner Mongolia, that many Chinese generals began to consider the Great Wall as two separate walls. Many parts also weren’t really a solid wall, but instead a series of watchtowers and forts in a line that constituted a line of defense.

https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china_great_wall/military-defense/genghis-khan.htm
Genghis Khan (1162 - 1227), the founder of the Mongol Empire, was the only one who breached the Great Wall of China in its 2,700-year-history.

The number of “illegal” crossing attempts at the U.S. Southwest border triple in March compared with a year ago, the government says.
The number of crossing attempts last month grow 37 percent from February, setting a month-to-month record going back to 2011.
Overall, government data show there were a total of 50,308 people last month that were apprehended or deemed as “inadmissible” at the border.
The largest number of apprehensions is from the Rio Grande sector in Texas, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency.

Estimates suggest that maintaining America’s ‘empire of bases’ overseas costs at least $156 billion annually.

“Seventy years after World War II and 62 years after the Korean War, there are still 174 U.S. ‘base sites’ in Germany, 113 in Japan, and 83 in South Korea, according to the Pentagon. Hundreds more dot the planet in around 80 countries, including Aruba and Australia, Bahrain and Bulgaria, Colombia, Kenya, and Qatar, among many other places. Although few Americans realize it, the United States likely has more bases in foreign lands than any other people, nation, or empire in history.”

https://money.cnn.com/2018/01/02/news/economy/mexico-remittances/index.html

Mexicans sent home $26.1 billion from January to November 2017, according to figures released Tuesday by the central bank of Mexico. That's the most ever recorded and better than the $24.1 billion sent in 2016 over the same period.
Barring a major setback in December, the total annual figure for 2017 is on pace to hit another record high.
Remittances are one of Mexico's top sources of foreign income, outpacing oil exports, which totaled $18.5 billion between January and October, according to the most recent figures available at the Bank of Mexico.

The southern state economies would probably collapse without the cheaper dependable Mexican labour.
Consider the $26 billion as the trade-off for the entitled Bubba's sitting at home collecting welfare . . . because the labour intensive jobs that the Mexicans do, are so far beneath the Bubba's dream of employment.
You're on this site 50+ posts per day . . .  would it be an assumption that you and your wheelbarrow are unemployed ?
